원전 배관의 결함 평가를 위한 해석 (Analysis for Defect Evaluation of Pipes in Nuclear Power Plant)

  • 원전 배관의 건전성평가는 원자로 안전을 위해 중요하며 결함발견 시 반드시 건전성을 확보해야만 한다. 균열을 갖는 구조물에 대한 정확한 응력확대계수 해석과 균열성장속도는 파괴강도와 피로수명을 평가하는데 필요로 한다. 피로설계와 수명평가는 배관, 산업공장장비 등과 같은 구조물을 설계하는데 극히 중요하다. 응력확대계수를 이용한 균열간의 상호 간섭해석은 유한요소법으로 구하였다. 내압을 받는 원통형구조물의 경우 표면균열의 인접점에서 간섭이 가장 크게 일어남을 확인하였다. 또한, 반복하중 균열에 대해서는 균열 성장평가와 더불어 피로하중에 의한 균열진전을 예측하기 위한 피로해석을 수행하였다.

환경친화적 블록식 보강토옹벽의 설계 및 시공사례연구 (Case Study of Environmental Segmental Retaining Wall(SRW) Using Greenstone Block)

  • Segmental Retaining Wall(SRW) has been variously applying in Civil and Architecture construction. Recently, the application of environmental element in all type's structures came to essential requirement, and the construction cases of retaining wall using reinforced soil and block are more increased than the past. But, this trend more widely was spread environmental element as landscape work for the backside of reinforced retaining wall as well as block itself. New environmental block, Greenstone Block, developed to apply of this tendency. The retaining wall system using Greenstone can be environmental constructing at both block itself and backside of retaining wall. The material tests, the axial compressive strength test of block and bending test of fiber-pipe, exercised to design and construction of vertical SRW, which were satisfied NCMA standard. Through this procedure, Rewall (ver 1.0) was developed, which can be automation design of SRW including internal stability, external stability and local stability. And these can be considered setback of retaining wall, as well the examples of vertical retaining wall using block presented to satisfying the follows; strength of reinforced geotextile, height of retaining wall, surcharge, types of backfill and groundwater level etc. Many problems investigated on after or before of construction were due to local failure, insufficiency of bearing capacity and groundwater level. Especially, the local failure was many occurred to during compaction or after construction, and the cases of SRW construction is similar to the results of model test on vertical SRW.

전달경로의 차이를 이용한 차량용반능동형 머플러의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Research on Characteristics of Semi-active Muffler Using Difference of Transmission Paths)

  • Passive type mufflers installed on every car haute inherent problem of lowering engine power and fuel efficiency caused by backpressure which is byproduct of complex internal structure. Recent improvements like installing a calve to change exhaust gas path depending on power requirement and rpm have only marginally improved performance. Tremendous amount of recent research works on active exhaust noise control have failed to commercialize because of numerous physical and economical reasons. In this paper, a unique seal-active muffler using difference of transmission paths is presented. In this system exhaust pipe is divided into two and joined again downstream. Exhaust noise is reduced by destructive interference when two-divided noise join again with transmission paths'difference which is half of the wavelength of a main noise frequency. One divided path has a sliding mechanism to change length thereby transmission path length difference is adjusted to entwine rpm change. The proposed system has minimal backpressure and does not need a secondary sound source like a speaker so it can overcome many problems of failed active noise control methods. We have verified proposed system's superior performance by simulation and comparison experiment with passive mufflers.

  • 열발전소에서 비상 가동중단으로 냉각수 배수계통에 발생하는 비압축성 부정류를 해석하는 수치모형이 개발되었다. 개발된 수치모형은 냉각수 기계내부계통, 폐정, 공기실, 관로, 맨홀, 개수로 및 바다 등에 의한 복잡한 흐름에 대해 전체적인 부정류거동을 동시에 해석할 수 있는 기능을 가진다. 수치해법으로는 leap-forg 유한차분법을 적용하였으며, 간단한 경우에 대한 모형의 검증과 함께, 종래 배수암거 하류단에 적용되덕 고정수위경계조건에 대한 검토가 이루어졌다.

도시철도차량의 운행패턴을 고려한 견인용 IPMSM의 열 특성 분석 (Thermal Characteristic Analysis of IPMSM for Traction Considering a Driving Pattern of Urban Railway Vehicles)

  • In this paper, temperature change properties on the 210kW-class Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) are performed with the cooling performance of a water cooling device through the thermal characteristic analysis of the IPMSM considering a real driving pattern of urban railway vehicles. First, the thermal analysis modeling of 210kW-class IPMSM, which is an alternative to the conventional induction motor, and its water cooling device is conducted. Next, the thermal characteristic analysis of the IPMSM considering a real driving pattern of urban railway vehicles is performed using 2-Dimensional FEM tool. Finally, the calculated characteristic results are analyzed. Consequently, it is confirmed that the internal temperature of the 210kW-class IPMSM may be lowered to about 42~52% by maintaining the coolant flow rate of the water cooling device (Cross sectional shape of the pipe has 220mm width and 10mm height) for 0.2kg/s level.

  • We have developed a cylindrical multi-terminal capacitive-conductive sensor that could be attached to the internal surface of cooling system pipe to evaluate capacitance and conductivity of heat transfer fluid. It was used as measuring system to diagnose insulating condition, by which was kept a insulating resistance of inner stack and at the same time was cooled electrochemical heat of reaction of FCEV(fuel cell electric vehicle) stack that used a compressed hydrogen gas reacting with oxygen in accordance with variation on thermal degradation of nonconductive heat transfer fluid. Also to assess diagnosis characteristics of heat transfer fluid, i.e. coolant, we have performed accelerated aging test using developed sensor attached to cooling system. Consequently, it was measured dielectric and electric resistance of coolant to estimate and analyse for dielectric properties by degradation condition.

  • Most of developed countries, the consumption of fossil fuels has been serious problems that cause serious environment pollution like acid rain, global warming. Also, we have faced that limitation fossil fuels will be exhausted. Currently, small hydropower attracts attention because of its small, clean, renewable, and abundant energy resources to develop. By using a small hydropower generator of which main concept is based on using the different water pressure levels in pipe lines, energy which was initially wasted by use of a reducing valve at the end of the pipeline, is collected by turbine in the hydropower generator. A propeller shaped hydroturbine has been used in order to use this renewable pressure energy. In this study, in order to acquire basic design data of tubular type hydraulic turbine, output power, head, efficiency characteristics due to the flow coefficient are examined in detail. Tubular-turbine among small hydraulic power generation can be used at low-head. The purpose of this study is to research turbine's efficiency due to runner vane angle using CFD analysis.

ART2 알고리즘을 이용한 세라믹 영상에서의 결함 검출 (Fault Detection of Ceramic Imaging using ART2 Algorithm)

  • 세라믹 소재 영상은 사람의 육안으로 판단하기 힘든 내부 기공이나 균열, 이물질 등의 결함들이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 사람의 육안으로 검출하기 힘든 세라믹 소재로 이루어진 파이프 용접부에 있는 결함을 확인하기 위해 ART2 알고리즘을 이용하여 세라믹 영상에서 결함을 검출하는 방법을 제안한다. 비파괴 검사는 본질에 손상이 전혀 가지 않는 검사 방법이기 때문에 소재의 결함 검출에 대해서는 적절한 방법이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Ends-In Search Stretching 기법을 적용하여 명암 대비를 강조하고, 명암 대비가 강조된 영상에서 삼각형 타입의 소속 함수를 이용한 퍼지 이진화 기법을 적용한 후, 임의의 패턴 입력에 대해서도 효과적으로 특징을 분류하는 개선된ART2 알고리즘을 적용하여 결함 영역을 검출한다. 제안된 방법을 세라믹 소재 영상을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 기존의 방법보다 효율적으로 결함이 검출되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • API 5L X65 배관의 모재 기리 및 원주방향, 심용착금속, 원주용착금속에 대한 고주기피로시험 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. (1) 모재 길이방향이 원주방향보다 항복강도 및 항복비가 높게 나타난 압연 방향에 따라 피로특성이 다르게 나타났고, 항복비가 작아질수록 피로강도가 작아졌다. (2) 모재의 피로강도는 항복강도보다 높게 나타났지만 용착금속의 피로강도는 낮게 나타났다. (3) 용착금속은 모재보다 항복강도 및 인장강도가 상당히 높았지만 피로강도는 오히려 작게 나타났다.

  • 해저배관은 부력과 외부 충격을 방지하기 위하여 1.2~4m의 매설 깊이로 설치되어 운영된다. 해저배관은 수압과 토하중에 의한 외압으로부터 소성붕괴에 대한 저항성을 가져야한다. 해저배관에 수압과 토하중으로 발생하는 원주응력을 유한요소해석으로 파악하여 배관의 건전성에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 내압은 외압에 의한 소성붕괴 저항성을 향상시켜 소성붕괴 발생 깊이를 증가시켰다 동일 수심에서는 매설 깊이 증가에 따라 원주응력은 증가하나, 동일 매설 깊이에서는 수심이 증가함에 따라 배관에서 발생하는 원주응력은 감소한다.
