Multiple-Period Repetitive Controller for Selective Harmonic Compensation with Three-Phase Shunt Active Power Filter

  • This paper presents a shunt active power filter (SAPF) for compensating inter-harmonics and harmonics when inter-harmonics content is evident in the grid. The principle of inter-harmonics generation in the grid was analyzed, and the inter-harmonics effect on repetitive controllers was discussed in terms of control performance. Traditional repetitive controllers are not applicable in inter-harmonic compensation. Moreover, the effect of an ideal controller on harmonics signals was analyzed on the basis of the internal model principle. The repetitive controller was improved in the form of a basis function according to theoretical analysis. The finite-dimensional repetitive controller, which is also called the multiple-period repetitive controller, was designed for the control of multiple periodic signals. A selective harmonic compensation system was developed with SAPF. This system can be used to compensate harmonics and inter-harmonics in the grid. Finally, system control performance was verified by simulation and experimental results.

  • 최근, 네트워크 확장 및 클라우드 인프라 확장 그리고 코로나 상황에 따른 근무 형태의 변화인 자택근무 및 외부업무로 인한 원격접속의 증가로 외부 공격자의 접근뿐만이 아니라 내부 직원의 업무 접속과 같은 내부에서의 접근을 경계해야 할 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이로 인해 제로 트러스트라는 새로운 네트워크 보안 모델이 주목받고 있다. 제로 트러스트는 신뢰할 수 있는 네트워크는 존재하지 않는다는 핵심원칙을 가지고 있으며 접근을 허용받기 위해선 먼저 인증을 받아야하며 인증 받은 사용자와 인증된 디바이스로만 데이터 리소스에 접근 할 수 있다는 개념으로 진행된다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 제로 트러스트와 제로 트러스트 아키텍처에 대해 설명하고, 제로 트러스트를 이용하여 다양한 기업에 적용할 수 있는 새로운 보안 적용 전략과 제로 트러스트 아키텍처 모델을 기반으로 하는 새로운 보안체계의 구축 프로세스를 고찰하려 한다.

  • 이전의 네트워크 환경에서의 보안모델은 신뢰를 기반으로 하는 Perimeter모델을 사용하여 일단 신뢰된 사용자에게 대한 리소스 접근통제가 적절하게 이루어지지 못하는 취약점이 존재해 왔다. Zero Trust는 내부 데이터에 액세스하는 사용자와 장치가 어느 것도 신뢰할 수 있는 것이 없다고 가정하는 것을 절대적 원칙으로 한다. Zero Trust 원칙을 적용하면 조직의 공격 표면을 줄이는 데 매우 성공적이며, 또한 Zero Trust를 이용하면 세분화를 통해 침입을 하나의 작은 영역으로 제한하여 공격이 발생했을 때 피해를 최소화하고 할 수 있다는 평가를 받고 있다. ZTNA는 조직에서 Zero Trust 보안을 구현할 수 있도록 하는 주요 기술로서 소프트웨어정의경계(SDP)와 유사하게, ZTNA는 대부분의 인프라와 서비스를 숨겨서 장치와 필요한 리소스 간에 일대일로 암호화된 연결을 설정한다, 본 연구에서는 ZTNA 아키텍처의 원칙이 되는 기능과 요구사항을 검토하고, ZTNA 솔루션의 구축과 운영에 따른 보안요구사항과 검토사항에 대해 연구한다.

Robust Feedback Control Design for a Three-phase Grid-connected Inverter in Distributed Generation System

  • This paper presents a robust feedback control design to mitigate the effect of grid voltage disturbances for three-phase grid-connected inverters in distributed generation systems. The proposed strategy consists of two major design steps. First, the controller is synthesized using the internal model principle to achieve a good reference tracking and disturbance rejection performance. Then, the feedback gain is systematically obtained by solving the linear matrix inequality conditions which are directly derived from the stability criteria. The main contribution of this paper is that the complexity of control structure can be substantially reduced and transient response is improved as compared with the existing robust control design methods. The simulation results are given to prove the validity of the proposed control scheme.

  • 영구자석형 스테핑 모터 (Permanent Magnet Stepping Motor, PMSM)에서는 그 구조적 특징으로 인하여 필연적으로 코깅 토크 (cogging torque)가 발생한다. PMSM의 성능을 저하시키는 코깅 토크를 제거하기 위하여 Internal Model Principle (IMP)을 제안하였다. IMP를 사용하기 위해 Field-Oriented Control (FOC) 기반의 SISO 시스템을 구성하고 IMP를 PI 제어기에 병렬로 추가하였다. 모의 실험 결과로 코깅 토크로 인한 속도 리플이 효과적으로 제거됨을 보였다.

On the dynamics of rotating, tapered, visco-elastic beams with a heavy tip mass

  • The present study deals with the dynamics of the flapwise (out-of-plane) vibrations of a rotating, internally damped (Kelvin-Voigt model) tapered Bernoulli-Euler beam carrying a heavy tip mass. The centroid of the tip mass is offset from the free end of the beam and is located along its extended axis. The equation of motion and the corresponding boundary conditions are derived via the Hamilton's Principle, leading to a differential eigenvalue problem. Afterwards, this eigenvalue problem is solved by using Frobenius Method of solution in power series. The resulting characteristic equation is then solved numerically. The numerical results are tabulated for a variety of nondimensional rotational speed, tip mass, tip mass offset, mass moment of inertia, internal damping parameter, hub radius and taper ratio. These are compared with the results of a conventional finite element modeling as well, and excellent agreement is obtained.

  • In the paper, the bilinear transformation method is applied to the design of servo system adopting the use of the internal model principle and the pole assignment method in a specified region. The pole assignment problem for the augmented system has been solved by using Tustin's function. The properties of Tustin's function have been shown in relation to the s-plane and z-planes, and the feedback law relationship between the original system and the transformed system has been cleared. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is proved via application for the cart system and the designed cart system is implemented by digital control with microcomputer and A-D/D-A converter.

  • This paper studies the output consensus problem for a class of heterogeneous linear multi-agent systems under a fixed directed communication network. The dynamics, as well as its dimension, of each agent can widely differ from the others, but all the agents are assumed to have the same transfer matrix. In addition, only the system outputs are constrained to be delivered through the network. Under these conditions, we show that the output consensus is reached by a group of identical controllers, which is designed to achieve the state consensus for the homogeneous multi-agent system obtained from the minimal realization of the transfer matrix. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the proposed result.

  • The purpose of this paper is to propose an approach to design a robust servo controller based on the Mixed H$_2$/H$\sub$$\infty$/ theory. In order to do this, we first modify the generalized plant for the usual H$\sub$$\infty$/ servo problem to a structure of the Mixed H$_2$/H$\sub$$\infty$/ minimization problem by virtue of the internal model principle. By doing this, we can divide specifications adopted for robust servo system design into H$_2$and H$\sub$$\infty$/ performance criteria, respectively. Then, the mixed H$_2$/H$\sub$$\infty$/ problem is solved in order to find the best solution, by which we can minimize H$_2$-norm of the transfer function under the condition of H$\sub$$\infty$/-norm value, through Linear Matrix Equality (LMI).

  • This paper deals with the dynamic stability and vibration of a non-uniform cantilevered pipe conveying fluid. The present model consists of two segments with different cross-sections. Governing equations of motion are derived by extended Hamilton's principle, and the numerical scheme using finite element method is applied to obtain the discretized equations. The critical flow velocities and stability maps of the pipe are obtained by changing step ratios, mass ratios and internal damping parameters of the pipe. Finally, the vibrational modes associated with flutter are shown graphically.
