공동주택 외부소음에 대한 실내소음도 평가에 관한 고찰 (Study on evaluating the interior noise about exterior noise of Apartment house)

  • In a small territory like South Korea, the only alternative to accommodate people in a big city is building apartment house. Exterior traffic noise is not inevitable as the apartment house is set up on wayside or main road is newly established near the area. As the request for quiet environment increases for a better quality of life recently, the exterior noise is considered to be resolved. This study shows the present condition of exterior noise of apartments and reviews a need for the improvement by comparing and analyzing the regulations of main country. Finally, considered the evaluating the interior noise in the apartment house.

  • Design target values of transmission loss in a high-speed train wall are suggested by calculating the difference between interior and exterior noise levels of it. Exterior noise level distribution on the boundary of train wall is calculated by Sysnoise, with sound source input prepared by experiments. Two kinds of exterior sound sources are considered, the rolling noise of train wheels on the rail and the aerodynamic noise from the pantograph. Interior noise level is provided by high-speed design target. Transmission loss characteristics according to the frequency band are examined.

  • There passed almost 15 years since our sound quality studies in Japan related to the emitted noise from the industrial products have been started. The sound under consideration are interior and exterior noise from cars, noise from the electric appliances such as electric shavers, electric cleaners and washing machines and the sound emitted from earth moving machines and etc. After a little while since sound quality studies have been started, the products with better sound are gradually on sale on the market.

차량 실내 소음에 대한 음질 평가 방법의 표준화 (The Standardization of Sound Quality evaluation method for the vehicle interior noise)

  • The vehicle noise is classified into interior and radiated exterior noise. And it influences on consumer‘s vehicle decision and traffic noise environment very much. In case of the vehicle exterior noise, it is related with traffic noise and in case of the interior noise, it is related with driver’s and passenger‘s sensitivity quality. Because these influenced on drivers and traffic environment, so standards are restricted by the laws and regulated for the measurement. But, the existence standards measuring the only sound pressure level are limit to reflect consumer’s sensitive aspects. Therefore in this study, the recent standards and laws were searched about domestic and abroad papers and the testing mode for the sound quality (SQ) evaluation was constructed about the vehicle interior noise. Finally, we aimed at the standard establishment to evaluate the vehicle interior SQ using statistics method.

  • The powertrain is an important factor for the interior and exterior noise behavior of the vehicle Thus, the noise vibration and harshness(NVH) behavior of an engine is becoming a major target of the powertrain development. This paper describes the analyses with the aim to reduce the vibration and noise of an advanced inline 4-cylinder diesel engine block by use of CAE methods. The characteristics of an engine block as a main excitation source of car interior noise is studied. Particularly, The effect of balance shaft to reduce the 2nd order engine excitation force is calculated by forced vibration and radiated noise analysis. The engine exitation forces are obtained under real operating conditions. It is shown that the reduction of vibration and noise level by adapting blancing shaft is well predicted and rediated noise is directly related to the surface velocity of engine block.

  • Mmulti-domain noise analysis method using Power Flow Boundary Element Method(PFBEM) has been developed successfully. Some applications are introduced. several examples. PFBEM is a numerical analysis method formulated by applying Boundary Element Method(BEM) to Power Flow Analysis(PFA). PFBEM is very powerful in predicting noise level in medium-to-high frequency ranges. However there are restrictions in analyzing the coupled structures and multi-media. In this paper, an analysis method for multi-domain acoustic problems in the diverse acoustic fields is suggested. And the developed method is applied to the car interior and exterior multi-domain noise analysis.

  • In this study, interior noise of the high speed EMU was estimated by statistical energy analysis (SEA) method. Based on the data measured at a distance of 25m from a running train, exterior noise of the running train was calculated. And then it was designed as noise sources in VA ONE, a commercial software of SEA. coupling and damping loss factor of high speed EMU studied in previous studies is used. The interior noise of the train was estimated for a open-land section. The analysis of interior noise of HST in the tunnel section will be estimated through same method.

  • The interior vehicle noise due to the exterior aerodynamic field is an important topic in the acoustic design of a car. The air flow detached from the A-pillar and impacting the side windows are of particular interest as they are located close to the driver / passenger and provides a lower insulation index than the trimmed car body parts. This paper presents a numerical analysis method for a simplified vehicle model. The internal air cavity including trim component are included in the simulation. The car body includes the windshield and two side windows. The body is made of aluminum and trimmed with porous layers. The methodology proposed in this paper relies on two steps: the first step involves the computation of the exterior flow and turbulence induced non-linear acoustic field using CFD Code. The second step consists in the computation of the vibro-acoustic transmission through the window using the finite element vibro-acoustic solver Actran.
