This study examines the visual effects of surface design utilized in commercial space. In particular, 1 focus on the following three categories: transparency and lighting, electronic surface and media screen, and ubiquitous environments and interface. Unlike the past era in which surface design in commercial space was viewed merely as a means of decoration, it has become more important in the contemporary era because diverse expression techniques in surface design enormously help architects and interior designers embody their own ideas more effectively Moreover, the diversity of surface design expands the concept of cultural space as it provides various graphic elements that reflect human desire for multicultures.

To fill the emotivity in the interior design, the functional factor from the provided space, the aesthetic factor including modeling factor, and even the practical factor from the convenience and the value must be considered. To carry out an achieved design by the emotivity, it must follow the recognition of the original function which comes from the emotivity design method, and it should be applied to the design process fitting into the purpose of the space. The value of the sufficient interior by the emotivity is depended on what kind of image it gives, and how much of the satisfaction it can give to the customers. And fur more, it should not be partially lean to any of the decoration and the function of the object. That is, how faithfully it was to the use and the purpose of the interior and the emotion related to all parts which are the functional side and the decorative side mainly considered in the external form is designed by the essential part of the design.

Architecture is changing rapidly with contact of various cultures and development of modern technology and it is also becoming Polycentric. We can look at the tendency of deconstruction that denies logical rationality of modernism and minimalism that is known as a vertex of modernism. This kind of flow appears to be one of tendencies of interior design. Therefore, to satisfy the residents with the interior design, our study proposes a better space improving monotonousness of the existing apartment through case study. Through the case study, if we analyze the tendency applied to the characteristics of minimalism, we can divide into shape and space. Minimalism space says that the resident can build his/her own space according to the characteristics of the object. Also, it has an advantage of the resident being able to bring in furniture or decoration to change the characteristics of the space. With more accurate understanding and borrowing, we should do multilateral study to research the mixed loading and uncertain minimalism through the case study of apartment space.

The purpose of this study is to find the relationship between hightech architecture and digital one through the discussion on Karl B tticher's view on tectonic in 19th century. The discussion of tectonics which has not been brought up until recently. Since there are no studies regarding contemporary architecture relating to Karl B tticher's view on tectonic, so it is fairly significant to study Karl B tticher's conception, discussion and relationship of contemporary architecture. To study the essence and meaning of Karl B tticher's view on tectonic in 19th century, we will analyze each examples of hightech architecture and digital architecture through Karl B tticher's dual form. B tticher insist that dualistic relationship is united and produced simultaneously. Because they have so closed relationship each other, it's impossible to apply only decoration without structure. Therefore they have mutual assistant relationship. A relationship can be found between hightech architecture's technology and structural symbol that Karl B tticher tried to find in steel which is new material ornament. Digital architecture can be confirmed as images which are made of maximum expose through consistent dynamics of structure. Karl Btticher try to find structural symbolism between new meterail, iron, and decoration. In modern architecture it has the closed relationship with high-tech technology.

Recently, wood is attracting attention as green building interior decoration material. When wood is used as building interior decoration material, excellent dimensional stability and thermal performance is required. In this study, superheated steam treatment process and thermal compression process were applied to flat sawn Pinus koraiensis wood panel in order to improve dimensional stability and thermal performance. According to results of this study, superheated steam treatment process and thermal compression process improve thermal performance and dimensional stability of wood, especially in tangential direction. The spring back in radial direction reduces the effect of thermal compression on dimensional stability of wood in radial direction.

This paper is a study on the anthroposophic characteristics shown in the first Goetheanum. Rudolf Steiner promoted anthroposophy base on the critique of modem times. His philosophy has developed in various areas such as medical science, agriculture, education, and art. In particular, his thinking was well expressed in the first Goetheanum which was built for Anthroposophical Society. The anthrososophic architectural theory is defined here as application of cosmology, metamorphology and geometry. Steiner defined geometry as a unconscious awareness inscribed in skeletal system of human body as humans have evolved in the process of cosmological development. As a result, Steiner's architecture was able to create metamorphological spaces with harmonizing geometric and organic factors. In respect of decoration, the shapes of plants applied to the decoration still kept individuality because of being made manually, thus perfect symmetrical architecture was impossible. Moreover, the first Goetheanum placed an emphasis on formative dynamics. This was to wake an individual's self-conscienceless up, by enabling him to experience with all the senses without reasoning from the precedent.

The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of the common people and the furniture they used and to investigate the general characteristics of traditional Korean culture in the late Chosun Dynasty in order to study the Characteristics of Bandagein Gyeongnam province. Local characteristics of the Bandaji were examined through comparing local style of Folk Houses Interior space composition and the utilization Bandaji of that space through the case study and literature review. Bandagein Gyeongnam province are classified as Tongyeong, Jinju, Miryang, Namhae, Yangsan, Gimhae. The height of Bandaji is relatively lower than in other provinces, the metal ornaments are simple, and the wood pattern is used to show simple and natural beauty. As a characteristic of metal decoration, Bandaji of Miryang have a lot of openwork decoration, Bandaji in Jinju have a cicada hinge and a decorative iron hook, Bandaji in Namhae have a peak of a lotus flowers shaped hinge and Ying-yang/ number pattern on openwork facet and Bandajji in Yangsan have a Violin hinge and Bandajji in Gimhae have emphasized ornamental features by using a rivet and lock made of tin and the cast iron.

This subject is about the study on digital contents development of traditional Korean furniture to find our traditional peculiarity that is disappearing gradually in the rapid computerization. In order to carry out this subject, we established some methodology to industrialize the culture, the style, the manufacturing process and the configuration details of traditional furniture in the form of digital contents with reference to books regarding the furniture in Chosun Dynasty and furniture collection in possession of museum, gallery, etc. This study made a database about traditional Korean furniture systematically to be used as basic materials that are available for diverse culture business as a whole with Korean identity in the future. The contents of this study are as follows: 1) Style of traditional furniture 2) Decoration of traditional furniture 3) Manufacturing process of traditional furniture 4) Configuration details of traditional furniture The contents work of traditional Korean furniture was to secure the identity of Korean furniture from the point of culture and to provide an alternative of modernization by re-illuminating the superiority of traditional furniture in discontinuation from the point of industry.

현대 생활에서 실내를 구성하는 벽면의 장식은 인테리어 장식에 의해 공간의 심리적인 상승효과로 전환되어 인간의 감성에 큰 영향을 미쳐왔다. 이번 논문에서 주요 관점은 일상생활에 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있는 실내 공간의 벽면에 60% 이상을 차지하고 있는 수입 타일을 일부 대체할 수 있는 새로운 장식 효과의 발견과 제품의 가능성을 연구하려고 한다. 이러한 해결 방법으로 2018년도에 개발된 색유리 플래스터 기법을 이용하여 포인트 타일을 제작하고 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 소비자의 구매 욕구를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 아트월 벽장식의 가능성을 모색한다. 타일에 적용된 문양들은 총 4가지의 패턴으로 귀얄, 방염, 면치기, 상감 문양을 활용하여 수입 타일의 천편일률적인 문양에서 벗어나고 우리의 감성에 맞는 전통적인 중간색의 발색 효과를 연구하였다. 그리고 벽장식의 공간 활용 방안 부분은 시뮬레이션을 통해서 욕실 주방, 거실과 나머지 빈 공간에 색유리 타일을 사용한 아트월과 아크릴 액자도 사용하였다. 이 연구를 바탕으로 새로운 시각의 도자기 포인트 타일이 모색되고 나아가 벽을 이용한 인테리어가 활성화되기를 바란다.

For the useful method capable of modern expression on traditional residence architecture, a study was performed on the methodological establishment and possibility of typological method could be examinated to interior design process by typological method. First of all, through the establishment verbal of our Korean traditional architecture and further investigation of environmental and cultural idealogical facts, it could be extracted from natural instinct, duality, continuance, flexibility and transitiov. In second process, based on these results, it could be framed and described the individual typological language and, for the sake of drawing for visual and spatial typology, it was made by sketch in terms and view of possibile guidance of prototype, transforming and application method. from these results of investigated sketches, it cold be used for criteria of application method as the parts of visual and spatial typological elements to have an applicable expression of it/s traditionality. Based on above facts, for the subjects of spatial system, form & shape system, circulation system, order system, decoration system, color & material system in interior design fields, we cold propose the practical possibility through the consideration of application method for built-in meaning that could be adaptable for the interior design practices. These facts were extracted from the based on visual & spatial typology, as above mentiov. Also, through preparing and suggesting the criteria of evaluation and measurement of design quality , we could propose the applicable methodology for further & basically Korean traditional embodiment.
