  • 본 논문에서는 GTEM cell을 이용하여 전자레인지 모의 잡음이 무선 랜에 미치는 간섭 영향을 분석하는 방법을 제안하였다. 비의도성 잡음이 무선 랜에 미치는 간섭 영향을 평가하기 위해서 시간 영역의 전자레인지 모의잡음 신호를 이용하였으며, 진폭 변조와 주파수 변조를 통해 구현하였다. 또한, GTEM cell은 평가의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해서 사용되고, GTEM cell의 특성은 주파수 영역과 시간 영역에서의 응답을 평가하였다. 간섭 잡음에 대한 진폭 확률 분포로서 전자레인지 모의 잡음이 무선 랜의 전송에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

  • Interference scenarios and methodologies between a terrestrial mobile service (MS) system and mobile-satellite service (MSS) system in a co-channel environment are established. Taking into account a practical deployment situation for both systems, we perform computational simulation of interference in terms of carrier-to-interference ratio (C/I) and interference-to-noise ratio (I/N) to evaluate the cofrequency interference from an MS system into an MSS system, and from an MSS system into an MS system, respectively. The methodology and results can be used as a guide when planning the deployment of MSS and MS systems with no unacceptable interference impact between them.

  • In this paper, we analyze the effects of interference canceller on the performance of multitone DS/CDMA system proposed by Vandendorpe[5]. There are various kinds of interference canceller suggested by different researchers including parallel and successive cancellers and we adopt a canceller used by Yoon et al.[9] which is a kind of parallel canceller. We consider three kinds of interferences, that is, multipath interference(MPI), interchannel interference(ICI) and multiple access interference(MAI). The ICI is the interference between multitones. The equations for variances. are derived for the inteferences and thermal noise used for signal to noise ratio calculation. We also consider RAKE reception over multipath channel which is modeled as lowpass equivalent linear filter and three stage interference canceller used for performance improvement. We show the performance results for number of canceller stage, diversity order and number of users and draw some conclusions that interference canceller is effective in multitone DS/CDMA system and the performance is further improved with the higher order of diversity and larger number of PN chips.

잠수함 수동소나에서 방사소음의 간섭패턴 분석 (Interference Pattern Analysis of the Radiated Noise in Submarine Passive Sonar)

  • Passive sonar in submarine can detect the target in long range and can attack using it. There are many noises which can be received at passive sonar of submarine. When noise received in the sonar it make diverse interference pattern depend on the ocean ambient and movement scenario. Interference pattern can be explained by theory of waveguide invariant. In this paper, analyze the interference pattern according to the relative motions of surface ship and submarine. And analyze the occurrence reason of 2 kinds of interference patterns those are usually display on the submarine console. The results show that if relative speed of submarine and target increase then gradient of interference pattern will increase. And closest point approach of submarine and target decrease then gradient of interference pattern will increase. Bathtube pattern usually appear when target pass though close to submarine and Pinetree pattern appear target pass though above of submarine.

딥러닝 기반 전력선 통신 시스템의 임펄시브 잡음 제거 기법 (Cancellation Scheme of impusive Noise based on Deep Learning in Power Line Communication System)

  • 본 논문은 스마트 그리드를 위한 전력선 통신 시스템에서 데이터 신뢰성을 향상시키는 딥러닝 기반의 사전 간섭 제거 알고리즘에 대해 연구하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 기법은 딥러닝 기술을 적용하여 채널에서 발생하는 임펄시브 잡음을 예측하여 제거하는 기술로서 송신단에서 딥러닝에 의해 학습된 잡음들을 활용하여 효과적으로 잡음을 제거함으로써 신호의 품질을 향상시킬 수 있다. 딥러닝 기술의 잡음 예측 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 기존의 잡음 형태를 데이터베이스화하여 활용하였다. 채널 모델로서 Middleton Class A 간섭 모델을 사용하였고, 비트 오류율을 평가하여 성능을 검증하였다. 모의실험을 통해 간섭 제거 기법이 적용된 시스템 모델과 이론적인 모델의 비트오류율을 비교하여 제안하는 시스템이 잡음을 효과적으로 제거하여 신호의 품질 성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다. 제안한 시스템 모델은 전력선 통신뿐만 아니라 일반적인 통신 시스템에서도 신호의 품질을 향상시킬 수 있도록 다양하게 적용이 가능하다.

非相關 雜音 除去를 위한 適應 雜音 除去 시스템 및 알고리듬 (Adaptive Noise Canceller and its Algorithms for the Cancellation of the Uncorrelated Noise)

  • 信號가 전송되는 과정에서 임의의 경로를 통하여 混信되어 들어오는 干涉信號에 의해 原信號가 손상될 경우, 干涉信號의 경로를 識別(推定)하여 이를 근거로 손상된 신호로부터 干涉信號를 제거하는 適應 雜音 除去品(adaptive noise canceller : 이하 ANC로 略함)가 널리 소개되었다. 이 방법은 干涉信號의 特性이나 그 混信 經路의 傳達兩數에 대한 事前知識이 없는 경우에 특히 유용하다. 그러나 이 방법은 干涉信號의 經路를 最小 平均 自乘 誤差의 의미에서 推定함에 있어서 原信號의 信號的 特性에 의해 그 最適値가 많은 영향을 받게 되는 문제점이 있다. 本 論文에서는 干涉信號와 原信號간의 相關度(correlation)가 적은 경우에 대하여, 原信號를 더욱 충실히 복구해 낼 수 있는 適應 雜音 除去器 및 그 알고리듬을 소개한다. 기존의 適應 필터를 이용한 ANC에서는 定常狀態에서 推定 誤差 信號에 해당하는 原信號가 필터 계수의 적응과정에 미치는 영향을 근원적으로 제거하기가 어려우므로 필터의 收劍速度를 안정적으로 느리게 하는 方法을 채택하는 것이 보편적이지만, 本 論文에서는 이 문제점을 근본적으로 해결하기 위하여 適應에 의해 발생하는 推定 誤差 信號를 補償器라는 보조 시스템을 통하여 綏和 내지는 極小化하여 이 信號로써 필터 계수를 조정함으로써 收劍 速度를 희생시키지 않고도 安定된 필터 알고리듬을 제시하였다. 이 알고리듬을 채택한 ANC는 기존의 방법에 의한 ANC 보다 雜音除去 능력이 우수함을 電算 시뮬레이션을 통하여 입증하였다.

  • The Objective of this research is to find the optimal design of the Noise Reduction Interference Model (NRIM) which is recently invented. Without optimization, the NRIM has been successful to reduce the urban noise induced by trains and automobiles. While it is used with the barrier on the road, there is a strong desire to reduce noise more. Yet the only remedy is to make the barrier higher with cost increase. Therefore, the optimal design is necessary to reduce noise while maintaining the barrier height. More efficient Genetic Algorithm is used to find the optimal shape of NRIM with the reduction of noise lever up to 15 dB. also BEM is used to verify the optimal design results.

Electromagnetic Interference Analysis of an Inhomogeneous Electromagnetic Bandgap Power Bus for High-Speed Circuits

  • This paper presents an analysis of the electromagnetic interference of a heterogeneous power bus where electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) cells are irregularly arranged. To mitigate electrical-noise coupling between high-speed circuits, the EBG structure is placed between parallel plate waveguide (PPW)-based power buses on which the noise source and victim circuits are mounted. We examine a noise suppression characteristic of the heterogeneous power bus in terms of scattering parameters. The characteristics of the dispersion and scattering parameters are compared in the sensitivity analysis of the EBG structure. Electric field distributions at significant frequencies are thoroughly examined using electromagnetic simulation based on a finite element method (FEM). The noise suppression characteristics of the heterogeneous power bus are demonstrated experimentally. The heterogeneous power bus achieves significant reduction of electrical-noise coupling compared to the homogeneous power buses that are adopted in conventional high-speed circuit design. In addition, the measurements show good agreement with the FEM simulation results.

  • When visual intrusion Is an Important factor, it is desirable to find alternative methods of Improving the insertion loss of a noise barrier without Increasing the height. Therefore, the primary object of the work attenuate the noise due to railway by small interference device installed at noise barrier edge. In this paper the performance of noise barriers with attached interference device, in terms of shape, absorptive material and split panel, we examined using the boundary element approach. Also, the scale models are mounted in an anechoic chamber and the frequency of the sound sources are appropriately scaled to simulate full scale site conditions. Lastly, experimental measurements of the designs are executed for a range of frequencies and receiver positions, and are compared with the results of numerical modeling.

전달경로의 차이를 이용한 새로운 차량용 능동 머플러의 개발 (New Active Muffler System Utilizing Destructive Interference by Difference of Transmission Paths)

  • A new active muffler system has been developed and its superior performance on both noise reduction and engine torque increase is demonstrated with experiment. Main characteristic of the proposed muffler system is the use of destructive interference by transmission path difference of divided exhaust pipes to reduce major exhaust noise components thereby overcoming problems of other active exhaust noise control methods. The exhaust pipe is divided into two sections and joined again downstream. One divided pipe has a sliding mechanism to vary its length, which is controlled to make half wavelength transmission path difference for the major engine rpm frequency. In this system one divided pipe is used to control major rpm frequency and its Harmonics and another pipe is used to control noise component double the frequency of rpm. An after-market tuning muffler, which has very simple internal structure and minimal back pressure, is also installed to remove remaining wideband noise. To make the system to be small enough to be practical, conventional muffler is also installed and used in low rpm range and active muffler is only employed in high rpm range. Noise reduction of the proposed system is comparable to conventional passive muffler. The engine dynamo test has proved the proposed system can recover almost all the torque lost by conventional muffler.
