In this paper, we analyze that co-channel interference mitigation algorithms MMSE (Minimum Mean Square Error), OC (Optimal Combining), ML (Maximum Likelihood) using 2.4Ghz in WBAN (Wireless Body Area Network) system. Also analyze that scenario and channel model by IEEE 802.15.6. ML gives the best performance for all simulation. ML and OC have high complexity than MMSE complexity, because these algorithms should be known channel information of interference users. So these algorithms are difficult to apply to WBAN. Therefore we will study the interference mitigation algorithm that should be accomplished trade-off of between efficiency and complexity.

In this thesis, we analyze performance related to reduction scheme of intercell interference causing serious problems in wiBro system. Frequency reusing factor(FUF) is 1 in WiBro system, and it means that a adjacent cell uses same frequency band. This channel environment raises intercell interference problem, which provokes serious problems related to system performance and channel capacity. Consequently, it affects deterioration in system performance as a whole. We analyze intercell interference when appling a various schemes such as (DCA)Dynamic Channel Allocation, CS(Channel Segregation), IMUFR(Interference Mitigation Using Frequency Reuse), IDMA(Interleave Division Multiple Access), IDMA(Interleave Division Multiple Access), FH-OFDM, CRSA(Conceptual Random Subcarrier Allocation), and HDD

This paper investigates the problem of co-tier interference mitigation for dynamic small- cell networks, in which the load of each small-cell varies with the number of active associated small-cell users (SUs). Due to the fact that most small-cell base stations (SBSs) are deployed in an ad-hoc manner, the problem of reducing co-tier interference caused by dynamic loads in a distributed fashion is quite challenging. First, we propose a new distributed channel allocation method for small-cells with dynamic loads and define a dynamic interference graph. Based on this approach, we formulate the problem as a dynamic interference graph game and prove that the game is a potential game and has at least one pure strategy Nash equilibrium (NE) point. Moreover, we show that the best pure strategy NE point minimizes the expectation of the aggregate dynamic co-tier interference in the small-cell network. A distributed dynamic learning algorithm is then designed to achieve NE of the game, in which each SBS is unaware of the probability distributions of its own and other SBSs' dynamic loads. Simulation results show that the proposed approach can mitigate dynamic co-tier interference effectively and significantly outperform random channel selection.
In this letter, we propose a data randomization scheme for endurance and interference mitigation of deeply-scaled multilevel flash memory. We address the relationships between data patterns and the raw bit error rate. An on-chip pseudorandom generator composed of an address-based seed location decoder is developed and evaluated with respect to uniformity. Experiments performed with 2x-nm and 4x-nm NAND flash memory devices illustrate the effectiveness of our scheme. The results show that the error rate is reduced up to 86% compared to that of a conventional cycling scheme. Accordingly, the endurance phenomenon can be mitigated through analysis of interference that causes tech shrinkage.
This paper first outlines the technology used in Power Line Communications(PLC) systems, and the political support being offered to the technology, from the point of view of its effect on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The radio spectrum needs protection from other interferers, and there is a regime in place to provide this interference avoidance/mitigation. Nevertheless, PLC has several features that mean that it is capable of creating such interference. These features are discussed, and some published field trial results are reviewed. Difficulties in achieving compatibility between the requirements for radio protection and the requirements for operation of the PLC system mean that there is no consensus as yet as to how PLC system components can be made compliant with EMC requirements. It is concluded that there is little prospect of an accommodation between the competing demands, so that if PLC is to become widespread it will be at the expense of the radio environment.

A Ground Based Augmentation System (GBAS) is an enabling technology for an aircraft's precision approach based on a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). However, GBAS is vulnerable to interference, so effective GNSS interference detection and mitigation methods need to be employed. In this paper, an intentional GNSS interference detection and characterization algorithm is proposed. The algorithm uses Automatic Gain Control (AGC) gain and adaptive notch filter parameters to classify types of incoming interference and to characterize them. The AGC gain and adaptive lattice IIR notch filter parameter values in GNSS receivers are examined according to interference types and power levels. Based on those data, the interference detection and characterization algorithm is developed and Monte Carlo simulations are carried out for performance analysis of the proposed method. Here, the proposed algorithm is used to detect and characterize single-tone continuous wave interference, swept continuous wave interference, and band-limited white Gaussian noise. The algorithm can be used for GNSS interference monitoring in an excessive Radio Frequency Interference environment which causes loss of receiver tracking. This interference detection and characterization algorithm will be used to enhance the interference mitigation algorithm.

In this paper, we have analyzed the effects of co-channel, adjacent-channel, and the human shield(Body Blockage) for wideband WLAN based on the IEEE802.11n 40MHz channel bandwidth required for high speed digital signage service. Simulation results show that wideband WLAN can be operated with 78 interferers over 63m distance in co- channel, 80 interferer over 61m distance in adjacent channel. By applying the mitigation method for reducing the interference, we have confirmed that protection distance is improved to 51m using beamforming, and 40m using cognitive radio in co-channel interference. Also body blockage interference is reduced using adaptive channel bandwidth, C/I ratio, beamforming, power control mitigation methodology.

Increasing throughput using high order data modulations in the WCDMA downlink requires the elimination of multipath interferences. For this reason, Kenichi Higuchi proposed a multipath interference canceller in WCDMA downlink. However, this paper considers the downlink signal models that only contains code channels for which code information is known to the receiver. WCDMA systems contain code channels for other active users whose code information is unknown to the receiver and these code channels degrade the performance of the multipath interference canceller. Thus, this paper proposes a multipath interference mitigation scheme which removes multipath interference induced by all the code channels within a cell. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms both the RAKE receiver and the multipath interference canceller in the WCDMA downlink.

This paper considers interference suppression and multipath mitigation in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs). We propose an anti-jam GNSS receiver which suppresses interference and multipath by subspace projection method. The resulting interference suppressed and multipath mitigated signal is then process by a beamformer, whose weight vector maximizes the signal-to-noise ratio of the output signal. The enhanced performance is shown by refined cross correlation and beam pattern.

Together with the GPS-based approach, geo-location through mobile communication networks is a key technology for location-based service. To save the cost, most geo-location system is implemented on the existed network service, which has a cellular structure. Still, multilateration is limited in cellular structure because it is difficult for the mobile terminal to acquire distance measurements from multiple base stations. This low hearability in the receiver is caused by co-channel interference and multipath environment. Therefore, hearability enhancement is necessary for multilateration under multipath and interference environment. Former time domain based hearability methods were designed for real signals. However, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal, which its usage has been increased in digital wireless communication, is a complex signal. Thus, different hearability enhancement method is needed for OFDM signals. This paper proposes a hearability enhancement method for forward-link multilateration using OFDM signals, which employ interference cancellation and multipath mitigation. A novel interference cancellation and multipath mitigation strategy for complex-valued OFDM signals is presented that has an iterative structure. Simulation results show that the proposed multilateration method provides the user's position with an accuracy of less than 80m through the mobile WiMAX cellular network in multipath environment.
