This paper deals with the development of expert system in distribution system which combined with graphic user interface. The proposed expert system can recognize and adjust to the system change, and includes the rule bases of security monitoring. Also it provides load transfer algorithm for efficient load distribution. The graphic user environment for expert system is implemented in the mouse-oriented user interface with overlapped window functions and pull-down menus. Therefore, the developed graphic integrated expert system can afford to assist system operators very conveniently through the various graphic function in proposing an optimal plan of load transfer for fault restoration and outage schedule.

WUSB is a new technology which combines the speed and the security of wired USB with the easy use of wireless technology. In this paper, GUI for WUSB is designed and implemented to show the connectivity and contents of the WUSB devices. Also, the proposed GUI shows the log window while content transfers occur between the host and device. The proposed GUI can be used for various wireless technologies which provide wireless function with existing USB hosts and devices.

Recently, the number of Internet shopping malls increases dramatically Internet shopping malls offer direct sales by electronic catalogs. As compared with to physical stores and paper catalogs, electronic catalogs differ in terms of the varieties and types of products offered, promotional efforts, service, interface, ordering and delivering, and so on. This paper analysed the features of electronic catalogs for fisheries by 45 variables. By descriptive statistics of electronic catalogs for fisheries, most electron)c catalogs had sufficient product related information. But promotion and transaction security related features were scarce. And some development technologies of electronic catalogs for fisheries were obsolete. By factor analysis, there were 9 factors of electronic catalogs for fisheries, that was, design of product pages, transaction information, playfulness, convenience of product selection, interface design, design of homepages, product information, learning capability, other electronic catalog related factor. Thus in standardizing electronic catalog for fisheries products, the above 9 factors should be reflected significantly.

최근 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 정보 보안에 관한 연구 및 개발 중 보안 API는 보안 서비스를 제공하는 인터페이스 규격으로서의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 그러나 대표적인 기존 보안 구조들인 CryptoKi, CryptoAPI, CSSM API, GSS-API, 및 GCS-API등의 보안 API는 응용개발자와 보안 장비 개발자의 편리성 및 독립성 보장 측면에서 다양한 문제점들을 가지고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 인터넷 응용환경에서의 신분위장, 통신내용의 도청 및 변조, 의도적인 업무 방해 등 수 많은 위협 요소들로부터의 정보 보호를 위한 사용자 인증, 데이터 기밀성 및 무결성 서비스를 제공하는 다중구조의 CAPI(Cryptographic Application Programming Interface) 보안 서비스 모듈을 설계한다. 설계된 다중구조 CAPI는 사용자 인증, 접근통제 등 상위 어플리케이션 계층에 보안 시스템 서비스 체계를 적용하여 운용 시스템 환경에 따라서 다양하게 개발 및 적용될 수 있다.

With the increase of electric power demand in the downtown area. many problems, such as the difficulty in security of substation site and interference of the electromagnetic wave or damage to person due to outdoor type substation facilities has been occured. Therefore, the compaction of substation facilities is required and the gas insulated switchgear(GIS) has been adopted accordingly. However, much care should be taken of the interface problem between cable and GIS. This paper describes the failure analysis and a countmeasure for prevent ion from failure in the interface.

Many countries around the world are amplifying interest and studies on irrigation, flood control and environment with concern on serious water problems. Especially for irrigation in water supply vulnerable areas such as coastal areas - islands, business on underwater resource security facilities are promoted to secure stable water resources due to development of society and increase of life quality. Also, various policies such as reuse of leaking underwater, utilization of underwater at waterfront, and artificial recharge, etc are planned and designed. In order to develop small sized underwater resource secure technology, verification of seawater-freshwater interface is executed and how the balance between these will develop is a great interest of coastal areas - islands. In this study, seawater-freshwater interface behavior analysis experiment was conducted while reflecting properties of coastal areas - islands and executed hydraulic similitude of saltwater intrusion form control technology on abstraction.

Tangible Space Initiative (TSI) is a new framework that can provide a more natural and intuitive Human Computer Interface for users. This is composed of three cooperative components: a Tangible Interface, Responsive Cyber Space, and Tangible Agent. In this paper we present a Tangible Tele-Meeting system in TSI, which allows people to communicate with each other without any spatial limitation. In addition, we introduce a method for registering a Tangible Avatar with a Tangible Agent. The suggested method is based on relative pose estimation between the user and the Tangible Agent. Experimental results show that the user can experience an interaction environment that is more natural and intelligent than that provided by conventional tele-meeting systems.

The recent trend of the hacking deals with all the IT infrastructure related to the profit of the companies. Presently, they attack the service itself, the source of the profit, while they tried to access to the service infrastructure through the non-service port in the past. Although they affect the service directly, it is difficult to block them with the old security solution or the old system and they threaten more and more companies with the demand of money menacing the protection of customers and the sustainable management. This paper aims to design and implement multi-platform network packet scanner targeting the exception handling network intrusion detection system which determines normal, abnormal by traffic. Linux and unix have the various network intrusion detection and packet management tools like ngrep, snort, TCPdump, but most of them are based on CUI (Character based User Interface) giving users discomfort who are not used to it. The proposed system is implemented based on GUI(Graphical User Interface) to support the intuitive and easy-to-use interface to users, and using Qt(c++) language that supports multi-platform to run on any operating system.

In the field of finance, Trading System of Securities is a very vulnerable application when it faces any small problems just for one minute. Since Trading System changes its environment from mainframes to client/server, its safety becomes the most important factor. Even though most If systems are configured by general guidelines currently, Trading System is an exception that it is configured by specific and rather ad hoc guidelines in order to ensure its safe management. In this thesis, I will prove the validity of specific and ad hoc configuration in the environment of Trading Systems where I use both XA interface system and Non-XA interface to configure its system based on 3-Tier Client/server computing environment through middleware, TP-Monitor, in the X/Open DTP Model. In order to validate the Trading System, I will compare and analyze the error of data of an order and ability to restore using both XA and Non-XA interfaces while testing take-over scenario on the assumption of the system's failure.

네트워크의 급속한 발전과 더불어 컴퓨터 보급 확산을 통해 현대 사회는 정보화 사회로 한층 발돋움하고 있다. 이에 인터넷 환경의 급속한 확산과 개방성, 확장성으로 인한 해킹 등에 의해 정보의 유출, 변조, 도용 등의 보안상 문제점이 심각하게 대두되며, 네트워크를 공유함에 따라 자원의 독점이 불가능하게 되었다. 이로 인해 원하는 시간에 원하는 만큼의 정보를 전송할 수 있는 기능을 보장할 수 없게 되었으며, 네트워크 공유로 인한 속도 저하 등의 서비스 질(QoS: Quality of Service)이 불확실해진 것이다. 현재 TCP/IP 기술이 많은 네트워크 표준 기술로 사용되어 있으며, 이를 기반으로 인터넷에서 사설망의 기능을 제공하기 위해 도입된 기술이 VPN(Virtual Private Network)이다. 본 논문에서는 효율적인 VPN통신을 관리하기 위하여, Web Interface 지원으로 별도의 Management S/W를 설치할 필요가 없는 시스템을 구축하였고, 안정성, 보안성, 신뢰성 등 차별화된 서비스로 네트워크를 통합 관리하도록 하고 있다.
