  • This study focuses on the physical environment and human activity of the user of train toilets, on the analysis of factors needed to obtain reasonable toilet design and it also focuses on the understanding of the interface between its user. Moreover it proposes a module of the development process and methods of approaching the User Toilet Interface. The study so presents a design standard under which the concrete data of the characteristics and practicable range and the convergent demands accelerate to the module could be confirmed and criticized.

  • In this study, physical and data link layer protocols of FOUNDATION Fieldbus are implemented. INTEL386EX and 80196KC are used fer the CPU of PC interface board and sensor interface module, respectively The physical layer protocol of FOUNDATION Fieldbus is developed by using FB3050 chip, the fieldbus communication controller ASIC. The data Link layer protocol of FOUNDATION Fieldbus is implemented by software.

  • The current Inn technique is many problems that is permission of radio station using RF Wireless Modem, that is influence of geographic obstacle using radio wave, that is frequency interference, that is finiteness of frequency resources. In this paper, we are solved many elements, IM replaces RF Wireless Modem, we suggest transmission technique of correction message using mobile phone, we researched Interface Module development which is linkage of DGPS receiver and mobile phone. IM can transmit correction message passing RS-232 port and modem communication control. IM of base station is initialized RS-232 port and modem to move station for correction message transmission, IM waited response mode. IM of move station is initialized RS-232 port and modem, IM requests hand shaking to base station, completed connection establishment. Users are worked Differential surveying using receiving correction message between mobile phones.

  • This paper proposes a wearable interface for a tendon-driven robotic hand prosthesis. The proposed interface is composed of a dataglove to measure finger and wrist joint angle, and a micro-control board with a wireless RF module. The interface is used for posture control of the robotic hand prosthesis. The measured joint angles by the dataglove are transferred to the main controller via the wireless module. The controller works for directly controlling the joint angle of the hand or for recognizing hand postures using a pattern recognition method such as LDA and k-NN. The recognized hand postures in this study are the paper, the rock, the scissors, the precision grasp, and the tip grasp. In experiments, we show the performances of the wearable interface including the pattern recognition method.

  • As the result of this research, the user platform, which reflects the latest interface technology, supports the ideal interface environment in a future city through using the data from social media. The goal of this research is constructing the user interface platform to approach to the data in an easier and practical condition of the interface environment smart space of the future intelligent city for user. It constructs the main module to organize the platform. Interface user platform modules, which were all based on visualization of service, are constructed by visualization agents, visualization social networks, visualization icons, visualization services, visual data, visual maps and visual classes. In this research, by the variety of services including delivering information, to find the interface environment for the proper interface technology, this research suggests "Interface User Platform" as the result.

EPGA Implementation and Verification of CSIX Module (CSIX 모듈의 FPGA 구현 및 검증)

  • CSIX-L1 is the Common Switch Interface that defines a physical interface for transferring information between a traffic manager (Network Processor) and a switching fabric in ATM, IP, MPLS, Ethernet and data communication areas. In Tx, data to be transmitted is generated in Cframe which is the base information unit and in Rx, original data is extracted from the received Cframe. CSIX-L1 suppots the 32, 64, 96, and 123-bit interface and generates a variable length CFrame and Idle Cframe. Also CSIX-L1 appends Padding byte and supports 16-bit Vertical parity, CSIX-L1 is designed using Xilinx 4,1i. After functional and timing simulations are completed. CSIX-L1 module is downloaded in Xilinx FPGA XCV1000EHQ240C and verified. The synthesized CSIX module operates at 27MHz.

  • In this paper, described a design result of bus interface modulo for multiple level MU-SID-1553 data bus network. In general, MIL-SID-1553 network is used for single level data bus topology. But, according to applied system's structure. multiple level bus architecture is required., And for his, micro processor must be involved for system be, and a additional hardware and software functions are needed. The designed data bus interface module is simply consists of communication transceivers and simple electronic circuit without micro processor. Through the hardware testing and software simulation, the functional performance of the designed interface module was successfully validated.

  • This paper suggests a multimodal interface control module which allows a student to naturally interact with educational contents in virtual environment. The suggested module recognizes a user's motion when he/she interacts with virtual environment and then conveys the user's motion to the virtual environment via wireless communication. Futhermore, a haptic actuator is incorporated into the proposed module in order to create haptic information. Due to the proposed module, a user can haptically sense the virtual object as if the virtual object is exists in real world.

  • Recently, the importance of user-interface design has been increasing due to the development of electronic and semiconductor technology. Under these surroundings a lot of Approaches that are for the analysis of video sequential data have been developed. The study on the method of analysing various aspects in the use of real product should find the characteristics of users' behavior. Also, the study should include the interaction dffects among these aspects. For these reasons this study proposed an analysis method for the video sequential data of usability test. The study begins with discussing the nature of user-interface through reviewing the various aspects of user-interface. Based on the findings the structure of methods that analyze the characterisics of user's behavior is identified. Thereafter, we developed a computerized tool for analysing video sequential data from usability tests. The tool comprises of four different modules: module for identifying users' profiles, module for video data logging, module for analysing user's characteristics, and module for synthesizing these data for user-interface design. Finally findings are summarized and further research was suggested.
