  • With cyberattack techniques on the rise, there have been increasing developments in the detection techniques that defend against such attacks. However, cyber attackers are now developing fileless malware to bypass existing detection techniques. To combat this trend, security vendors are publishing analysis reports to help manage and better understand fileless malware. However, only fragmentary analysis reports for specific fileless cyberattacks exist, and there have been no comprehensive analyses on the variety of fileless cyberattacks that can be encountered. In this study, we analyze 10 selected cyberattacks that have occurred over the past five years in which fileless techniques were utilized. We also propose a methodology for classification based on the attack techniques and characteristics used in fileless cyberattacks. Finally, we describe how the response time can be improved during a fileless attack using our quick and effective classification technique.

  • The Progress and development of technology occurring since the 20th century has improved the quality of life of most people. However, serious energy problems have arisen as a result of this lifestyle of convenience and prosperity. These problems have already stared to threaten the very survival of human beings. Architecture and energy are no longer separate concepts. They are now considered as coexisting subject areas. The mutual relevance of energy, technology and architecture is expected to be more emphasized in the future. This study is concerned with the skin design of intelligent housing, which defines the external and infernal boundary. Applicable design techniques are suggested. The purpose of his study is to classify intelligent skin technologies and applications, and to grasp the design characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, as well as design techniques of each items related to Housing. This study will also suggest application techniques that can be used as basic data for determining an appropriate skin type when designing single buildings.

  • This research is concerned with the multiple PPF and the modified LQG controller design for active vibration control of intelligent structures. The intelligent structure is defined as the structure equipped with smart actuators and sensors. Various control techniques aimed for the piezoceramic sensors and actuators have been proposed for the active vibration control of smart structures and some of them prove their effectiveness experimentally. In this paper, the multiple PPF controller and the modified LQG controller are developed and applied to the smart grid structure. The multiple PPF control and the modified LQG control can be classified as the classical and the modern control techniques. respectively. The experimental results show that both control techniques are effective in suppressing vibrations. Two control techniques are compared with respect to the design process. the ease of implementation and the effectiveness

  • The purpose of this paper was to review Intelligent Compaction (IC) techniques, which is regarded relatively new to the railroad roadbed construction activity. Most of civil structures are built on roadbed that supposed to provide adequate load bearing support to the upper structure through the qualified compaction process. However, it is not uncommon for structure failure attributed to inadequate compaction control take place in field sites. Unlike traditional compaction control method to check field density at several locations, IC techniques continuously measure various compaction quality indices that represent compaction uniformity. In this paper, a series of literature review relevant to IC techniques was conducted to provide concise summary on the following categories: 1) background of IC technique; 2) Summary of IC vendors and basic principles; 3) modeling of IC behavior, and 4) case study along with correlation between IC with other measurements. In summary, IC technologies seem to be promising in future railroad construction to achieve better compaction quality control so that the serviceability of railroad can be ensured with minimizing rehabilitation and maintenance activities.

  • The article presents the analysis of modern methods of automatic comparison of original and unoriginal text to detect textual plagiarism. The study covers two types of plagiarism - literal, when plagiarists directly make exact copying of the text without changing anything, and intelligent, using more sophisticated techniques, which are harder to detect due to the text manipulation, like words and signs replacement. Standard techniques related to extrinsic detection are string-based, vector space and semantic-based. The first, most common and most successful target models for detecting literal plagiarism - N-gram and Vector Space are analyzed, and their advantages and disadvantages are evaluated. The most effective target models that allow detecting intelligent plagiarism, particularly identifying paraphrases by measuring the semantic similarity of short components of the text, are investigated. Models using neural network architecture and based on natural language sentence matching approaches such as Densely Interactive Inference Network (DIIN), Bilateral Multi-Perspective Matching (BiMPM) and Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) and its family of models are considered. The progress in improving plagiarism detection systems, techniques and related models is summarized. Relevant and urgent problems that remain unresolved in detecting intelligent plagiarism - effective recognition of unoriginal ideas and qualitatively paraphrased text - are outlined.

  • This paper presents several softcomputing techniques such as neural networks, fuzzy logic and genetic algorithms : Neural networks as brain metaphor provide fundamental structure, fuzzy logic gives a possibility to utilize top-down knowledge from designer, and genetic algorithms as evolution metaphor determine several system parameters with the process of bottom up development. With these techniques, we develop a pattern recognizer which consists of multiple neural networks aggregated by fuzzy integral in which genetic algorithms determine the fuzzy density values. The experimental results with the problem of recognizing totally unconstrained handwritten numeral show that the performance of the proposed method is superior to that of conventional methods.

  • When the volume of data grows big, some simple tasks could become a significant concern. Nearest neighbor search is such a task which finds from a data set the k nearest data points to queries. Locality-sensitive hashing techniques have been developed for approximate but fast nearest neighbor search. This paper introduces the notion of locality-sensitive hashing and surveys the locality-sensitive hashing techniques. It categories them based on several criteria, presents their characteristics, and compares their performance.

  • We present an intelligent forging simulator AFDEX. The intelligent forging simulator is determined by the adaptive and optimal mesh generation technique and many intelligent application-oriented special functions which minimize the user-intervention during forging simulation. Of course, the solution accuracy should be optimized in the intelligent simulation. We have developed AFDEX to meet the requirement on intelligent simulation. Its characteristics are introduced with the help of typical application examples.
