3차원 자동 연마장치의 개발 (Development of 3 dimensional Automatic Polishing System)

  • Recently, new polishing tool which was made by magnetic intelligent compound(Magic) was invented. The distribution of abrasives in this new tool can be controlled by magnetic field. Therefore, we can make a special polishing tool which has well arranged abrasives after cooling. In this study, 3 dimensional polishing machine was developed in order to polish complicated - shaped inner surfaces of molds. The performance of developed machine was investigated by measuring the roughness of polished surface using new polishing tool.

  • dynamic modelling method is applied to the driving simulation which has the calculable model of engine, transmission, vehicle. And driving pattern is used for database by actual tests and analyzed in neural network system. The simulation is compared to real test results and structures to the tracked vehicle powertrain.

  • 본 연구에서는 객체지향적 CASE 툴인 ObjecTime을 이용하여 지능형 제조 운영 시스템을 설계/구현하였다. 객체지향적 프로그래밍 방법론과 ROOM(Real-time Object-Oriented Modeling) 방법론을 사용하여 지능형 제조 운영 시스템에서 필요한 객체를 설계하였으며, 이들 객체의 계층도와 관계를 정의하였다. 객체지향적 설계 방법론을 사용하여 설계한 시스템은 모델링 과정에서 실행화일을 얻는 과정까지 발생하는 오류를 최소화할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 제조 시스템의 모니터링과 제조시스템 운영 소프트웨어의 자료 입력 및 수정을 위한 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스 툴을 제작하였다.

  • Recently, new polishing system which was made by magnetic intelligent compound (MAGIC) was invented and, the study is going on for practical use the analysis of factors, that is, the kind of polishing grain, composition ratio of wheel elements, machining frequency, polishing pressure, which the main influence for polishing efficiency are the first step.   • 본 글에서는 21세기를 대비한 차세대생산시스템으로 일컬어지는 지능형생산시스템(IMS: Intelligent Manufacturing System)의 기술 개발을 위해 국제공동연구로 진행되고 있는 "국제 IMS 프로그램"을 소개하고 우리나라의 추진현황에 대해서도 설명한다. 제 2절에서는 국제 IMS 프로그램의 개요로서 추진배경, IMS의 목표, 참가국 및 추진체계, 자금운영 방법 등에 대해 설명한다. 제 3절에서는 국제 IMS 프로그램에서 수행하는 프로젝트들을 소개하며, 국내의 IMS 추진전략 및 주요활동 등을 제 4절에서 설명한다.

Underwater Image Preprocessing and Compression for Efficient Underwater Searches and Ultrasonic Communications

  • We propose a preprocessing method for removing floating particles from underwater images based on an analysis of the image features. We compared baseline JPEG and wavelet codec methods to determine the method best suited for underwater images. The proposed preprocessing method enhanced the compression ratio and resolution, and provided an efficient means of compressing the images. The wavelet codec method yielded better compression ratios and image resolutions. The results suggest that the wavelet codec method linked with the proposed preprocess method provides an efficient codec processor and transmission system for underwater images that are used for searches and transmitted via ultrasonic communications.

  • Rule minimization technique adapted from rough set theory was applied to remove redundant knowledge which is not necessary to make a knowledge base. New algorithm to diagnose fault using Improved Fuzzy Cognitive Maps(I-FCMs), and Fuzzy Associative Memory(FAM) is proposed. I-FCM[22] is superior to gathering knowledge from many experts and descries dynamic behaviors of systems very well. I-FCM is not only a knowledge base, but also a inference engine. FAM has learning capability like neural network[12]. Rule minimization and composition of I-FCM and FAM make it possible to construct compact knowledge base and breaks the border between inference engine and knowledge base.

Barycentric Approximator for Reinforcement Learning Control

  • Recently, various experiments to apply reinforcement learning method to the self-learning intelligent control of continuous dynamic system have been reported in the machine learning related research community. The reports have produced mixed results of some successes and some failures, and show that the success of reinforcement learning method in application to the intelligent control of continuous control systems depends on the ability to combine proper function approximation method with temporal difference methods such as Q-learning and value iteration. One of the difficulties in using function approximation method in connection with temporal difference method is the absence of guarantee for the convergence of the algorithm. This paper provides a proof of convergence of a particular function approximation method based on \"barycentric interpolator\" which is known to be computationally more efficient than multilinear interpolation .
