건축문화유산의 공간경험 디자인 - 지능형 콘텐츠 서비스 플랫폼과 정보표현체계 - (Designing Augmented Spatial Experiences of Architectural Heritage - Information Modeling for Intelligent Content Service Platform -)

  • Currently, museums and architectural heritage provide augmented user experiences by incorporating various media technologies. They still, however, suffer from the limitation of entertainment-based and the provision of location-based simple and repetitive contents. In addition, while acting as a key medium of experience for architectural heritage, the concept of space is not properly reflected in current services. The purpose of this study is to design user space experience considering such characteristics of architectural heritage. The spatial experience content and content production platform are defined. This software platform creates content that enhances the experience of the place by giving a context-based digital data associated with space and objects. The spatial experience content is designed as a series of experience sequences. The composition of the sequence borrows the method of film and narrative which segment and connect consecutive experiences on a scene basis considering user's detailed spatial experience. Therefore, content components can be combined and reproduced in various types. Augmented contents were extracted by using rule-based reasoning function of ontology at the moment. As a practical example of architectural heritage, the Seokjojeon Hall is used to reveal a spatial experience scenario.

  • With the development of advanced technology, automation of agricultural work is spreading. In association with the 4th industrial revolution-based technology, research on field smart farm technology is being actively conducted. A state-of-the-art unmanned automated agricultural production demonstration complex was established in Naju-si, Jeollanam-do. For the operation of the demonstration area platform, it is necessary to build a sophisticated, advanced, and intelligent field smart farming model. For the operation of the unmanned automated agricultural production demonstration area platform, we are building data on the growth of soybean for smart cultivated crops and conducting research to determine the optimal time for agricultural work. In order to operate an unmanned automation platform, data is collected to discover digital factors for water management immediately after planting, water management during the growing season, and determination of harvest time. A subsurface drip irrigation system was established for smart water management. Irrigation was carried out when the soil moisture was less than 20%. For effective water management, soil moisture was measured at the surface, 15cm, and 30cm depth. Vegetation indices were collected using drones to find key factors in soybean production prediction. In addition, major growth characteristics such as stem length, number of branches, number of nodes on the main stem, leaf area index, and dry weight were investigated. By discovering digital factors for effective decision-making through data construction, it is expected to greatly enhance the efficiency of the operation of the unmanned automated agricultural production demonstration area.

LAN 기반 디지털 변전소 보호를 위한 동기 샘플링 구조적용 HW/SW 플랫폼 기술 (Synchronized Sampling Structure applied HW/SW platform for LAN-based Digital Substation Protection)

  • 본 논문에서는 미래 LAN 기반 디지털 변전소 보호를 위하여 정밀 시각동기 기반 동기 샘플링 구조를 적용한 계통 구성 IED(Intelligent Electronic Device)의 HW/SW 플랫폼을 제안하였다. 제안한 플랫폼은 전력계통 자동화를 위한 표준인 IEC 61850 프로토콜 및 IED 간 정밀 시각동기를 위한 IEEE 1588 Precision time protocol 통합 소프트웨어가 적용되었으며, Synchronized reference signal을 이용한 IED 간 동기 샘플링 구조를 적용하였다. 이는 미래 IEC 61850 기반 디지털 변전소에 적용될 네트워크 기반 데이터 송수신 환경에서 IED 간 동기 측정된 계전 데이터를 제공하게 함으로써, 네트워크 기반 분산 측정 데이터를 이용한 새로운 보호 및 제어방식을 적용할 수 있는 토대를 제공할 것으로 기대된다. 제시한 플랫폼 기술의 타당성 및 성능을 측정하기 위하여 TMDXIDK572 멀티코어/멀티프로세서 EVM(Evaluation Module)을 기반으로 구현하였으며, 성능 시험 환경을 구성하여 제시한 플랫폼의 시각동기 성능 및 동기 샘플링 기능의 동작을 확인하였다.

  • 로봇은 주변 상황을 인지하고 Task를 부여받는 software oriented 형상으로 발전하고 있다. Cloud Robotics Platform은 로봇에 Service Oriented Architecture 형상을 지원하기 위한 방법으로, 상황에 따라 필요한 Task와 Motion Controller를 클라우드 기반으로 제공할 수 있는 방안이다. 휴머노이드 로봇으로 진화할수록 로봇은 로봇 3대 원칙에 따라 보편화된 일상생활 속에서 인간에게 도움을 주기 위해 사용될 것이다. 따라서 특정 개인만을 위한 로봇 이외에도, 상황에 따라 모든 인간에게 도움을 줄 수 있는 공공재로써의 로봇이 보편화될 것이다. 따라서, 생성하는 정보는 사람, 로봇, 로봇에 지능을 부여하는 클라우드 상의 서비스 애플리케이션, 로봇과 클라우드를 이어주는 클라우드 브릿지로 구성될 것으로 분석되는 Cloud Robotics Computing 환경에서 정보보안의 중요성은 인간의 생명 및 안전을 위해 필수불가결한 요소로 자리잡게 될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 지능화된 로봇을 위한 Cloud Robotics Computing 환경에서 사람, 로봇, 클라우드 브릿지, 클라우드 시스템간 통신 시 보안을 제공하여 해킹으로부터 안전하고 개인의 정보가 보호되는 로봇 서비스가 가능할 수 있는 Security Scheme을 제안한다.

  • The web server for the embedded Linux system(ELS), unlike the ones for the usual Linux or Windows, has some disadvantages such as small number of installable applications, low compatibility and limited extensibility. This fact raises some problems when data are transferred in real-time via the web server, which are mainly caused by a poor performance of the processor and small-sized memory. Conventional user interfaces adopted for the usual web servers are unsuitable for the ELS because they are platform-limited and their installations are done by the form of plug-ins. If the web server for the ELS has an Ajax engine that can be utilized without any installation procedure, the advantages of usability, accessibility and quick response time can be obtained. This paper presents the Ajax interface for the ELS web server. The efficiency of the proposed technology in the real-time remote monitoring is shown through an implementation.

  • Until now, most Intelligent Tutoring Systems are lacking in the modularity, the extensibility of the system, and the flexibility in the dynamic environment due to the static exchanges of knowledge among modules. To overcome these flexibility in the dynamic due to the static exchanges of knowledge among modules. To overcome these problems, we will suggest, in this paper, a Distance Intelligent Tutoring Framework, called DELFOM, based on the multiagent to cope with the various and complicated learner's requests. We could make different types of learning systems by simply changing the contents of DELFOM External that is variant part of DELFOM. This framework, therefore, provides software reuse and the extensibility based on object-oriented paradigm. And we will propose two different distance learning systems using DELFOM. Therefore this framework gives the developer/the learner the effective and easy development/learning environment. DELFOM is implemented using CORBA and Java for the network transparency and platform independence.

  • The robot has recently emerged as a factor in the daily lives of humans, taking the form of a mechanical pet or similar source of entertainment. A robot system that is designed to co-exist with humans, i.e., a coexistence-type robot system, is important to be "it exists in various environments with the person, and robot system by which the interaction of a physical, informational emotion with the person etc. was valued". When studying the impact of intimacy in the human/robot relationship, we have to examine the problems that can arise as a result of physical intimacy(coordination on safety in the hardware side and a soft side). Furthermore, We should also consider the informational aspects of intimacy (recognition technology, and information transport and sharing). This paper reports the interim results of the research of a system configuration that enhances the physical intimacy relationship in the symbiosis of the human and the robot.

  • Java Virtual Machine이 기반이 되는 플랫폼 사용으로 모바일 폰 Java는 C/C++로 컴파일 된 Binary File에 비해 속도가 떨어지고 고성능의 프로세서를 필요로 하기 때문에 가격이 비싸질 수밖에 없다. Native Binary를 사용하는 Nano-X Window System Graphic Engine은 저 사양 프로세서에서 사용가능한 모바일 플랫폼으로써 Java Virtual Machine 보다 빠른 속도를 구현할 수 있고 GPL License를 따르기 때문에 생산단가도 절약할 수 있어 저가형 핸드폰의 대량 생산으로 인해 현재 떠오르고 있는 신흥시장에서 보다 경쟁력을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 모바일 플랫폼과 Nano-X window System을 비교해보고 모바일 플랫폼으로써의 개발 방향에 대해 논해 보려 한다.

Path Following Control of Mobile Robot Using Lyapunov Techniques and PID Cntroller

  • Path following of the mobile robot is one research hot for the mobile robot navigation. For the control system of the wheeled mobile robot(WMR) being in nonhonolomic system and the complex relations among the control parameters, it is difficult to solve the problem based on traditional mathematics model. In this paper, we presents a simple and effective way of implementing an adaptive following controller based on the PID for mobile robot path following. The method uses a non-linear model of mobile robot kinematics and thus allows an accurate prediction of the future trajectories. The proposed controller has a parallel structure that consists of PID controller with a fixed gain. The control law is constructed on the basis of Lyapunov stability theory. Computer simulation for a differentially driven nonholonomic mobile robot is carried out in the velocity and orientation tracking control of the nonholonomic WMR. The simulation results of wheel type mobile robot platform are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Remote Diagnosis of Hypertension through HTML-based Backward Inference

  • An expert system for the diagnosis and indication of hypertension is implemented through HTML-based backward inference. HTML-based backward inference is performed using the hypertext function of HTML, and many HTML files, which are hyperlinked to each other based on the backward rules, should be prepared beforehand. The development and maintenance of the HTML files are conducted automatically using the decision graph. Still, the drawing and input of the decision graph is a time consuming and tedious job if it is done manually. So, automatic generator of the decision graph for the diagnosis and indication of hypertension was implemented. The HTML-based backward inference ensures accessibility, multimedia facilities, fast response, stability, easiness, and platform independency of the expert system. So, this research reveals that HTML-based inference approach can be used for many Web-based intelligent site with fast and stable performance.
