In this paper, we design and implement an integrated management system for geographic data and vehicular images using a Geographic Information System (GIS). Integrated management of geographic data and vehicular images is very important to manage and to provide them to users effectively because of a large volume of vehicular images. To manipulate these data together, we consider a vehicular image as a polygon which is a type of popular geographic data types. The polygon represents a region in which spatial objects appear the vehicular image.

The integrated environmental permit system is currently in operation online. It carries out various functions of postmanagement such as the submission of annual reports containing operations management data onto integrated management workplaces, the operation and management of emission facilities and prevention facilities, and the disclosure of information on the integrated permission. On the other hand, the integrated environmental permit system needs to perform various roles in order to stably manage and smoothly perform the permitting work. It is necessary to utilize this system to establish policies by using diverse operations management data onto integrated management workplaces collected in the integrated environmental permit system. This system can also play a role in improving the post-management system and user convenience after the permission review and approval processes. The integrated environmental permit system can be effectively used to set up the BAT-AEL because it collects all of the cross-media data and identifies the overall status of the workplace. In order to establish a post management system after the approval, it is necessary to provide performance management and performance evaluation functions as conditions of the permit after approval. In addition, a variety of support functions should be provided to enable the permission authority and the environmental expert examination agency to facilitate the review of permits. It will be necessary to provide an evaluation system and a proactive diagnostic function to determine whether permission conditions and permit emission standards will change in the future. Also, it is important to adopt an information exchange platform that can be used to collect the status data onto the workplaces; the platform can also be used as an information exchange site for technical working groups (TWG), and for collecting field experts' opinions.

This thesis proposes how data security has changed since the emergence of 'Big Data' in 2012 and the type of Integrated Security Management System that needs to be built against security threats, based on an analysis of Big Data. Much research has been conducted in Big Data. I need to think about what an Integrated Security Management System requires in order to safeguard against security threats such as APT. I would like to draw a comparison between the current Integrated Security Management System and one that is based on Big Data, including its limitations and improvements, so that I can suggest a much improved version of Integrated Security Management System.

This study presents a plan to develop a integrated management system for data survey of cadastral surveying to efficiently manage and research cadastral survey data. As a result of analysis of the existing cadastral survey data used to evaluate efficiency of the developed integrated cadastral survey data management system, it was shown that data survey time can be reduced by approximately half.

We constructed the integrated management system of distributed astronomical data of Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory(BOAO), Sobaeksan Optical Astronomy Observatory (SOAO), and Mt. Lemmon Optical Astronomy Observatory(LOAO). The observed data was stored in the archive of the observatory and MySQL table is saved in the integrated management system. There are data archive managers in the observatories and they manage the integrated management system such as data storing, head information extraction, table generation, and management of web pages, etc. The users can search and download all the data in the integrated management system web page. The concept of this system - send queries from web page to the observatory archives - is the same of the basic concept of virtual observatory. This research is one of the main work in the Korean virtual observatory which is take part in the international virtual observatory alliance.

It is widely known that labor costs are continuously and rapidly growing in terms of the raw cost of products in Korea. The increased labor costs are degrading the competitiveness of dairy industry sector as in the other major industrial fields. Furthermore, the number of dairy farms is constantly decreasing while that of dairy cattle is increasing. Thus, mechanized and/or automated stockbreeding management systems are crucially required to support professional stockbreeding management, as well as to enhance the productivity of the sector. Hence this paper develops an IIS (Integrated Information System) for dairy cattle stockbreeding management. IIS is composed of five application modules and associated utility programs. The five modules are individual stock management, milking management, feeding management, propagation management, and disease management. The utility programs are involved in stock farm accounting, and handy unloading of individual stock data into a personal data acquisition device. Compared with existing foreign products, the developed system takes advantages of various stock body measurement data such as body weight, body temperature, milk conductivity, milking amount, and the number of walking steps. All the measured data are transmitted into a programmable logic controller that monitors and controls measurement devices. The transmitted data are finally aggregated into an integrated database located in the main personal computer. The integrated data are analyzed and reformed in the five modules of IIS, then, used for providing farmers with various farm states and information through application module scenes. Hence, IIS keeps the each module work in a systematic and compatible manner, while supervising the whole stockbreeding management system.

DNA microarray is a high-throughput biomedical technology that monitors gene expression for thousands of genes in parallel. The abundance and complexity of the gene expression data have given rise to a requirement for their systematic management and analysis to support many laboratories performing microarray research. On these demands, we developed Xperanto for integrated data management and analysis using user-friendly web-based interface. Xperanto provides an integrated environment for management and analysis by linking the computational tools and rich sources of biological annotation. With the growing needs of data sharing, it is designed to be compliant to MGED (Microarray Gene Expression Data) standards for microarray data annotation and exchange. Xperanto enables a fast and efficient management of vast amounts of data, and serves as a communication channel among multiple researchers within an emerging interdisciplinary field.

Applicability of LCA in establishing the integrated solid waste management were examined. Data were collected from current waste management system. LCA method was then applied to find environmentally sustainable waste management. The process comprises five steps : (1) collecting data, comparing the data with comprehensive urban planning as well, (2) analyzing the current waste treatment procedure leading to the database establishment, (3) LCA for the waste management system, (4) finding alternative scenarios based on the former steps, (5) establishing the optimum method in Ecopolis, best fitted to the local situation. The results and suggestions in this study are expected to yield comprehensive analysis as to current practices in waste management. More importantly it will be a valuable data in minimizing environmental burdens in connecting with living environments of Ecopolis. Information regarding the urban system and total environmental quality are expected from this study.

In the past, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) conducted research into and production of agricultural statistics. As a result of organizational changes, these responsibilities were transferred to Statistics Korea in 1998 and 2008. So, the MAFRA managed data without a formal system for managing data and statistical information. The demand for a foundation to improve the usefulness of agri-food statistics has recently increased due to the necessity for basic data representing the realities of rural and agricultural areas. This is especially true for field-oriented agricultural administration. This study aims to propose a strategy for the systematically integrated administration of dispersed data and statistical information. It served as the foundation for the integrated management of distributed administrative and statistical data.

In this paper, we investigate various factors that are relevant to design and implementation of an integrated management system for various speech corpora. The purpose of this paper is to manage an integrated management system for various kinds of speech corpora necessary for speech research and speech corpora consrtructed in different data formats. In addition, ways are considered to allow users to search with effect for speech corpora that meet various conditions which they want, and to allow them to add with ease corpora that are constructed newly. In order to achieve this goal, we design a global schema for an integrated management of new additional information without changing old speech corpora, and construct a web-based integrated management system based on the scheme that can be accessed without any temporal and spatial restrictions. And we show the steps by which these can be implemented, and describe related future study topics, examining the system.
