  • DD motor, with large rotor inertia & wide range of torque, is different from other servo motor in control & drive characteristic. In this paper, for the development of flexible DD robot, we introduced the h/w & s/w technics of DSP to construct the velocity, position & torque control strategies and integrated 2 axes special purpose DD servo dirver into one VME bus.

  • Diverse approaches for reducing the total energy consumption of machine tools have been introduced and developed, to cope with rapid increase of total energy costs in world-wide manufacturing industries. To realize the improvement of the energy efficiency, systematic and integrated strategies must be considered, including energy-saving design, optimized control operation and concrete evaluation of the energy efficiency. This paper proposes key enabling technologies required to improve the energy efficiency of 5-axis multi-functional machining tools, considering both of system design and operation in the real production environments. Related standardized procedures of the energy efficiency evaluation is also represented.

A Case Study of Art Marketing in Fashion Brand

  • Purpose - This study examines the effects of art marketing management of the marketing mix in fashion, focusing on the cases of the leading global fashion brands in art marketing management. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - This study was implemented using the content analysis method. Criteria, including product differentiation, promotion strategies, store strategies, and social contributions, were based on previous research, brand promotional references, and critical reviews in newspapers or professional magazines for various cases of art marketing management by fashion brands. Results - To achieve product differentiation, art marketing management has borrowed images from artworks, and employed parodies and collaboration with artists; this has facilitated the pleasure derived from utilizing the artistic value of products. Promotion strategies were integrated with art performances, advertisements, and runway shows. Store strategies developed emotional feelings and a longing for brands among consumers. Reputational marketing of the social contributions made by corporations elevated the corporate brand image perceived by consumers. Conclusions - This study's findings revealed that consumers can derive emotional satisfaction through art marketing that seeks to profit effectively by stimulating consumers' emotions. From an economic perspective, a convergence of art and marketing plays an important role in profit-making and satisfying consumers' emotions.

동계올림픽 통합 아이덴티티의 시각적 구성요소와 특성 연구 - 밴쿠버, 소치, 평창 동계올림픽 사례중심으로 (A Study of the Visual Components and Characteristics of the Integrated Identity of Winter Olympics - Focused on the Cases of the Vancouver, Sochi, and Pyeongchang Winter Olympics)

  • 동계올림픽의 통합 아이덴티티 디자인 정립을 위해 영향을 미치는 시각적 구성요소의 특성을 알아보고자 사례연구를 실시하였다. 조사 대상은 2010년 이후 열린 밴쿠버, 소치, 평창 동계올림픽으로 한정하였다. 1차 조사에서는 시각적 구성요소의 특징을 살펴보고, 2차 조사에서는 디자인의 특성인 일관성, 가변성, 확장성, 연계성을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 동계올림픽의 통합 아이덴티티는 시각적 구성요소들의 통합적인 인식을 주는 일관성을 유지하고 있었으며, 사용에 따라 가변성을 보였다. 또한 서로간의 연계적인 이미지를 유지하였다. 그러나 다양한 변화 속에서도 적용매체에 따라 유연하게 활용되는 확장성은 엠블럼과 슬로건에서 미비한 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들이 향후 올림픽 엠블럼 디자인 제작에 효과적인 통합 아이덴티티 전략수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용이 되기를 바란다.

한국 패션 디자인 진흥 정책이 신진 패션 디자이너의 브랜드 운영에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Korean fashion design incubation policies on new fashion designer's brand management)

  • With the increased importance of design creativity in global fashion marketplaces, there have arisen numerous promotional strategies for new fashion designers in Korea, yet little research has been done on this subject. This study examines the new fashion design promotion policies in Korea and their effects from the designer's perspective. First, we analyzed the contents of twenty-one strategies from thirteen organizations regarding the types of support from the strategies. As a result, four distinct types are identified: new designer recognition; information and consulting support; brand incubating; and marketing support. Next, we performed in-depth one-on-one interviews with eleven designers who had been awarded from one or more of the fashion design incubation policies. The results reveal that the incubating policies' cash rewards and space support are found to be most effective. In terms of the revised fashion and brand consulting policy, "brand operation" had an influence. In addition, fashion the new brand advertisement and marketing policy had positively influenced the "brand development." However, throughout the interview, designers note that the quality of education and information provisions need some improvement. Furthermore, the designers indicate the lack of supervision and professionalism from the marketing departments. Based on this content, this study emphasizes the necessity of an effective fashion design promotion policy, and strategic and consistent support for the whole fashion promotion team. At the minimum, an integrated and united supervision by the organization is necessary and should be taken into consideration.

다양한 생산전략을 가지는 제조업체의 통합 경영관리시스템 설계 (A Design of Integrated Management System for Manufacturing Company with Multiple Production Strategies)

  • 본 연구는 제조기업에서 업무 상 비용절감과 처리속도를 빠르게 할뿐만 아니라, 향후 업무환경 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 통합 경영관리시스템을 설계하는 데 있다. 현재 판매되고 있는 범용 경영관리시스템은 많은 추가적인 노력없이는 각 기업의 고유업무를 반영하는 데에 한계점이 있으므로, 본 연구에서는 예측생산 및 주문생산 전략을 동시에 가지는 자동차부품 제조업체를 대상업체로 선정하여 해당업체의 업무에 특화하여 경영관리시스템을 설계하였다. 시스템설계는 전체 시스템의 각 기능 모듈에 대하여 불필요한 업무처리의 발생을 줄이기 위한 장치를 추가함으로써 제품원가에 반영되는 제조 간접비의 발생을 최소화하도록 하였다. 또한 구축될 시스템에 현장상황이 적시에 반영되어 시스템의 출력이 실효성을 가질 수 있도록 하기 위해 각 기능 모듈간의 연계성을 고려하였으며 현장상황을 관찰하는 모니터링 모듈과 각 기능모듈간의 데이터 흐름을 원활히 할 수 있도록 시스템을 설계하였다.

An Implementation of Acoustic-based MAC Protocol Multichannel Underwater Communication Network

  • This Paper Proposes a new efficient system design strategies for the acoustic-based underwater multiple modem and media access control protocol. The system aims to establish the acoustic-based communication network of an underwater vehicles for deep sea mining, which ensures a certain level of maximum throughput regardless of the propagation delay of acoustic and allows fast data transmission through the acoustic-based multiple channel. A media access control protocol for integrated communication network and it's acoustic-based communication modems that allows 'peer-to-peer' communication between a surface mining plant multiple underwater system is designed, and the proposed media access control protocol is implemented for its verification. Furthermore, a proposed design strategies which make it possible to control the multiple vehicle for an underwater mining is presented in this paper.

Analysis of Digitalization Strategies for Tourism Industry in South Korea

  • Purpose: This paper is designed to deliver a deeper understanding of the implications of digitalization strategies in the tourism industry, exploring the opportunities and challenges in South Korea. Research design, data and methodology: To identify effective strategies, an integrated approach is employed in the research that encompasses the Glocal RPM analysis and SANEL HERMES model, as well as the examination of digital tourism factors within the DIANA economy. The data used for this study were derived from multiple sources, including literature review, participation interview, tourist survey and expert questionnaire. By conducting a tourist survey using questionnaires in this research, Glocal RPM and SANEL HERMES hybrid method is used identifying and classifying influencing factors limiting digitalization in tourism. As a final step, experts use a Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix to propose, assess, and rank a number of digitalization strategies. Results: According to the analysis, the study revealed that combining both tools contributes to a more holistic understanding of the environment, uncovering the positives and negatives from diverse perspectives. The average satisfaction percentage of experts was determined to be 38%, indicating anatal level of digitalization for tourism industry in South Korea. Conclusions: These results can serve as a valuable guide for policymakers and stakeholders in formulating targeted strategies to enhance glocalization, rationality, professionalism, and morality within the digitalization context.

  • Purpose: This study explored how Indonesian banks utilize digital marketing communication strategies to optimize their distribution channels, leading to enhanced customer trust and brand loyalty. It examined specific methods such as sponsorships, social media, institutional partnerships, and mobile banking application features as key components of this digital distribution strategy. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: This study employed mixed methods design to assess digital distribution impacts. It involved 385 Jakarta bank customers. The sample size was determined using the Lemeshow formula. Results: The findings indicate that effective digital distribution strategies, including sponsorships, social media engagement, and user-friendly mobile banking applications, significantly enhance customer trust and loyalty. However, overly complex features may negatively impact loyalty. Conclusion: Thisstudy demonstrates a clear connection between the strategic use of digital marketing channels, such as sponsorships, social media, institutional partnerships, and mobile banking features, and the development of customer trust and loyalty. The results provide valuable insights to Indonesian banks in designing digital distribution strategies that prioritize building trust and fostering integrated customer interactions. Tailored digital marketing approachesthat optimize distribution can significantly enhance both trust and loyalty among Indonesian bank customers.

  • 지식기반사회에 있어서 과학기술지식정보는 국가의 부존자원이며 경쟁력의 원천이라 할 수 있다. 또한 연구자의 연구 및 기술개발에 있어서 과학기술지식정보 중요성이 날로 증가하고 있으며, 고객의 요구도 다양화 되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 과학기술지식정보를 이용하고 있는 고객의 다양한 요구 및 의견을 적극적으로 반영하여 효율적인 고객 대응 전략을 수립하고, 이를 기반으로 상시적인 고객 서비스 응대, 고객 모니터링, 서비스 개선, 고객 만족도 제고를 위한 표준화된 통합 Help Desk 시스템을 개발하였다.
