Design of School Management Information System Based on the Indonesian National Education Standard

  • With a population of around 237,424,363 in 33 provinces, Indonesia is one developing countries that needs an excellent School Management Information System (SMIS) to accomplish its educational mission. To reach the goal, it is necessary to know the rules, culture of school and related data prior to building the SMIS. This study is focused on the Indonesian National Education Standards. It is has nine standards that are described by the Regulation of Education Ministry. To manage the schools' organization, this paper aims to develop a SMIS based on the Indonesian National Education Standards by using ARIS(Architecture of Integrated Information System) to help schools run efficiently. The new system will be built using UML(Unified Modeling Language), this new system conforms to the education rules of the government. Finally, the conclusion and future research are described.

Research on Forecasting Framework for System Marginal Price based on Deep Recurrent Neural Networks and Statistical Analysis Models

  • Electricity has become a factor that dramatically affects the market economy. The day-ahead system marginal price determines electricity prices, and system marginal price forecasting is critical in maintaining energy management systems. There have been several studies using mathematics and machine learning models to forecast the system marginal price, but few studies have been conducted to develop, compare, and analyze various machine learning and deep learning models based on a data-driven framework. Therefore, in this study, different machine learning algorithms (i.e., autoregressive-based models such as the autoregressive integrated moving average model) and deep learning networks (i.e., recurrent neural network-based models such as the long short-term memory and gated recurrent unit model) are considered and integrated evaluation metrics including a forecasting test and information criteria are proposed to discern the optimal forecasting model. A case study of South Korea using long-term time-series system marginal price data from 2016 to 2021 was applied to the developed framework. The results of the study indicate that the autoregressive integrated moving average model (R-squared score: 0.97) and the gated recurrent unit model (R-squared score: 0.94) are appropriate for system marginal price forecasting. This study is expected to contribute significantly to energy management systems and the suggested framework can be explicitly applied for renewable energy networks.

  • In this paper, we propose an integrated techniques for managing data quality in traffic data warehousing environments. We describe how to collect and construct the traffic data warehouses from the operational databases, such as FTMS and ARTIS. We explain how to configure the traffic data warehouses efficiently. Also, we propose a quality management techniques to provide high quality traffic data for various analytical transactions. Proposed techniques can contribute in providing high quality traffic data to the traffic related users and researcher, thus reducing data preprocessing and evaluation cost.

  • As a method to come up with the low competence of responsible officers, an integrated system providing watch officers with information on navigation obtained on board and on land as well is needed to secure the safety of navigation.   • Purpose: Natural Disaster has well formed framework more than social disaster, because natural disaster is controlled by one department, such as MOIS, but social disaster is distributed. This study is on the design of the integrated service platform for the social diaster data. and then, apply to the local governments. Method: Firstly, we design DB templates for the incident cases considering the incident investigation reports. For the risk management, life-damage oriented social disaster risk assessment is defined. In case of the real-time incident data from NDMS, AI system provides the prediction information in the life damage and the cause of the incident. Result: We design the structured and unstructured incident data management system, and design the integrated social disaster and safety incident management system. Conclusion: The integrated social disaster and safety incident management system may be used in the local governments

IECS: an Integrated E-Community System for Management, Decision and Service

  • The paper presents an Integrated E-Community System (IECS) for management, decision and service, designed for the e-government project of Haishu District of Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. The project need is to promote the integration of management information and service information of communities, providing a unified platform on which different departments of the district government can share and exchange community information, government officers can analyze information and make decisions, and the outside users can access and request services. To meet the project need, the IECS consists of five parts: 1) The Central DataBase (CDB) that stores all information related with management, decision and service of communities: 2) Information Extracting Subsystem (IES) that provides functions of extracting data from data sources, transforming and loading them into the CDB for system administrators; 3) Information Management Subsystem (IMS) that provides functions of querying and sharing of information for government users, and functions of information maintenance, rights and log management for system administrators: 4) Intelligent Analysis Subsystem (IAS) that provides functions of extracting analysis related data from the CDB and loading them into the DW, and functions of multi-dimensional analysis and decision-making based on the DW and OLAP for government users; 5) Information Service Website (ISW) that provides functions of promulgating and collecting of information for government users and system administrators, and functions of browsing, querying and requesting of service information for outside users. The IECS supports management, decision and service of a government based on a unified data platform--the CDB, and ensures data security by providing different workplaces and rights for different users. In the real application, the system works well.

  • In this paper, we propose the integrated management system for computing resource such as personal computers, the interface of router, and server equipment. IRMS defines and analyzes the performance factors for system such as pc and router, also it manages assets for server equipment. Manager can make use of data for understanding conditions whether system is normal or not. We suggest a hierarchical integrated management architecture for resolving problems of scalability and managing efficiency in large domain networks.

  • There has been much interested on the issues of designing and implementing the data acquisition and display system. This paper describes how to acquire and manage the data to be generated from sensor sources in a manufacturing process. The functionality of this data management system is composed of data acquisition, database management, processing and display of the available data. Also, this system has a adaptability to be carried throughout configuration management.

  • In this paper, we propose relevant to design and implementation of an integrated management system for various speech corpora. The purpose of this paper is to manage an integrated management system for various kinds of speech corpora necessary for speech research and speech corpora constructed in different data formats. In addition, ways are considered to allow users to search with effect for speech corpora that meet various conditions which they want, and to allow them to add with ease corpora that are constructed newly. In order to achieve this goal, we design a global schema for an integrated management of new additional information without changing old speech corpora, and construct a web-based integrated management system based on the scheme that can be accessed without any temporal and spatial restrictions. Finally, we describe the web based interface which are the executed results involved in the service and show the efficiency of using the index view for implementation of integrated management system.

  • This study describes the strategy for advanced decision support system (ADSS) development for integrated management of water resources and quality in reservoir systems. The developed ADSS consists of database that contain hydrologic data, observed operational data, and data to support specific reservoir operations simulation, optimization models, and water quality models. The optimization model, mass balance simulation model and water quality models are used in a general prototype ADSS, menu driven controlling framework that assists the user to specify and evaluate the alternative operational scenarios at one time. These alternative scenarios are evaluated by the models and the results are compared through the use of a graphical based display system. This graphical based system uses an icon based schematic representation of the system to organize the presentation of the results. The ADSS includes the ability to use monthly or weekly time periods of analysis for the models and it can use monthly historical or stochastically generated inflows.
