  • When insulating oil was flowed through a pipe, the electrostatic charge in the oil was increased using inflammability oil, an electrostatic phnomena which may cause significantly problems as explosion must be circumvented by some methods. In this paper, Streaming insulating oil electrificated by streaming electrification of electrification pipe and standing insulating oil were affected under the high field strength, temperature of insulating oil, and concentration of surfactant. The electrical conduction was compared and analysed by these influence.

  • The static charges are generated by streaming electrification phenomena when insulating oil flowing by force for the purpose of cooling at the internal of Ultra-high power transformer. In this thesis, their elimination method was studied. In this paper the effect of Additive on the electric conductivity of Insulating oil is studied. The variation of electric conductivity disappear when Additive is molten in insulating oil, the variation of Additive is not enough to decrease streaming electrification of insulating oil(${\sigma}>10^{-12}$[S/cm]).

  • In this paper, insulating varnish has been used for field magnet and armature impregnated insulating material of electric locomotive and traction motor. When it was duplicated coating, it could be accuse internal void, and which could change electrical characteristics. We used to boundary elemental method of simulation tool, and improved optimal insulating design of insulating varnish according to measuring electric distribution in void of specimen.

  • The vegetable insulating oils are substitute for the mineral oil in power transformer. Vegetable insulating oils has higher flash/fire point and biodegradability than conventional mineral oils. In this paper, we investigated the dissolved gas analysis of vegetable oils. In the experiment, I had to accelerated aging under the same conditions mineral oil and vegetable oils. Accelerated aging proceeded to about 100% of the life of oil-filled transformer. In addition, we performed gas analysis of insulating oil of accelerated aging progress. The experiment results of the five gases was measured with the exception of Hydrogen and Acetylene. The mineral oil and vegetable oils gas is generated in a similar tendency depending on the accelerated aging. As a result, vegetable oils, can be dissolved gas analysis by method such as mineral oil.

  • We have investigated characteristics of varnish and oil impregnant. When transformers are manufactured with some moisture and varnish impregnant not entirely dried, those should be caused by factors that deteriorate the electrical or mechanical property after installation. Therefore, in this study we experienced moisture content of the new insulating paper and the varnish impregnant paper in the ratio of time for confirming factors that deteriorate the paper characteristics. Besides, we investigated a property study that was experienced the value of dielectric strength and tensile strength as no serviced insulating samples of transformer.

  • In this paper, the heat resistance reliability of an axial smoke exhaust fan was investigated. An axial smoke exhaust fan should be capable of operating at $250^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours. The heat resistance reliability was evaluated by the heat resistance reliability test. A B10 life with a 90% confidence level was estimated to be about 48 minute. The failure occurred in the motor due to high temperature. The main failure mechanisms of the motor were melting of bond and insulating paper and burning of insulating materials in the coil. The heat resistance reliability was improved by changing the way to unite the core and the coil and by replacing the insulating paper and the insulating materials of the coil. A B10 life with a 90% confidence level of a modified axial smoke exhaust fan was estimated to be over 120 minute.

  • General transformer's life is known as paper insulation' life. If a transformer is degraded by these aging factors, it is known that electrical, mechanical and chemical characteristics for transformer's oil-paper are changed. When the kraft paper is aged, the cellulose polymer chains break down into shorter lengths. It causes decrease in both tensile strength and degree of polymerization of paper insulation. The paper breakdown is accompanied by an increase in the content of furanic compounds within the dielectric liquid. In this paper it is aimed at analysis on correlation between aging characteristics for insulating diagnosis of thermally aged paper. For investigating the accelerated aging process of oil-paper samples accelerating aging cell was manufactured for estimating variation of paper insulation during 500 hours at $140^{\circ}C$ temperature. To derive the results, it was performed analysis such as tensile strength(TS), depolymerization(DP), dielectric strength(DS), relative permittivity, water content(WC) and furan compound(FC) for aged paper. Also for analyzing correlation between insulating degradation characteristics, we used linear regression method. As as results of linear regression analysis, there was a close correlation between TS and DP. WC, FC. But dielectric strength was a weak correlation with aging time.
