강화도 지역 소음저감을 위한 인천국제공항 계기비행절차 검토 (A Study on Instruments Procedure of Incheon International Airport for Noise Abatement in and around Gangwha Island)

  • After analyzing each procedure from standard instrument procedures used at Incheon International Airport, which is believed to have caused noise problems in and around Ganghwa island, we came to a conclusion that some Standard Instrument Departure Procedures and Standard Instrument Approach Procedures need to be revised, and therefore we made some propositions with regard to noise abatement procedures(CDA, RNAV approach etc.). Additionally, we evaluated viability of the proposed flight procedures by conducting a number of demonstrations with use of flight simulation.

  • 대부분 국가에서 계기비행 절차는 국제민간항공기구(ICAO)의 DOC 8168, 항행 서비스 및 운항 절차(PANS-OPS) 또는 미국 연방항공청(FAA)의 터미널 절차(TERPS) 중 한 가지 기준을 적용해 설계된다. 특히, 선회접근 절차는 두 기준이 서로 많은 차이를 갖고 있고, 미국 터미널 절차(TERPS)는 2013년 이후에는 고도에 따라 확장된 기준을 적용함으로써 더 복잡해졌다. 선회접근 절차는 착륙을 위해 항공기를 에너지가 낮은 상태에서 지면과 가깝게 기동하는 것을 포함하므로 직진접근 절차보다 더 위험에 노출된다. 본 연구에서는 이들 차이점을 정확하게 알기 위해 선회접근 절차가 국내의 개별 공항에 따라 어떤 기준에 의해 설계되었는지를 구분하고, 선회접근 기동 중 최소장애물 회피를 보장하는 선회접근 구역 범위를 위한 반경을 산출하고, 안전한 선회접근 절차 수행을 위한 방법을 제시한다.

  • 현재 대부분의 공항에서 운용중인 계기착륙시스템 (ILS; instrument landing system)은 시스템 특성상 단일경로로 운영되어, 다수의 항공기를 수용하기에는 한계가 있다. 이러한 한계점을 해결하기 위해 GNSS를 이용한 위성항법시스템인 GBAS가 개발되었다. GBAS는 ILS 보다 위치 정확도도 높고 단일경로가 아닌 다수의 경로를 이용하여 착륙이 가능하기 때문에, 다양한 착륙절차를 수행할 수 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 환경적인 요건과 공역 제한 때문에 ILS 설치가 불가피한 태안비행장에 가상 ILS 절차를 수립한 후 cessna skyhawk 172를 이용하여 가상 ILS 절차와 curved approach 절차를 비교하는 비행시험을 하여 curved approach에 대한 장점을 확인 하였다.

  • 전 세계적으로 급속하게 증가하는 항공교통량으로 인해 ICAO는 기존의 항행장비를 위성항법 기반으로 대체해 나가고 있으며, 이의 일환으로 기존의 ILS를 이용한 이착륙 서비스를 GBAS 로 대체할 계획을 수립 하였다. GBAS는 활주로까지 항공기를 유도하는 정밀 접근 서비스와 공항 주위의 정밀위치정보 서비스를 제공하는 위성항법 보강시스템을 이용하여 ILS와 달리 한 개의 시스템으로 활주로의 수에 관계없이 요구 성능을 제공할 수 있으며 curved approach가 가능하다는 장점을 보유하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 태안비행장 비행시험을 통한 ILS접근 절차와 GBAS curved approach절차를 비교하여 비행시간 단축 및 연료 감소효과를 분석하였으며 실제 비행시험을 통하여 이를 측정 확인 하였다.

  • Though service is recognized as not only a new driver for economy growth but also a source for sustainable value creation, it has been misunderstood in the literatures because of traditional characteristics of service such as inseparability, heterogeneity, intangibility, and perishability. This perspective can be a cause of barrier to approach a service. The purpose of this study is to develop and validate an instrument to measure of the service process. A series of statistical procedures were used to analyze the data, which proved that the instrument is valid and reliable. This study makes a contribution to both academic research and management practice. Theoretically, this study provides a measurement of service process in organizations for identifying service process. In practice, the results of this study will help organizations evaluate their service process innovation.

접근절차의 시계구간 보호 적용 연구 - 태안비행장을 중심으로 - (A Study on an Application of the Protection for the Visual Segment of the Approach Procedure focused on Taean Airport)

  • 'Visual segment surface' means a surface that extends from the missed approach point of non precision approaches (or the decision altitude location for approaches with vertical guidance and precision approaches) to the threshold to facilitate the identification of and protection from obstacles in this visual segment of the approach. Validation is the necessary final quality assurance step in the procedure design process, prior to publication. The purpose of validation is the verification of all obstacle and navigation data, and assessment of flyability of the procedure. This paper shows how to apply the protection for the visual segment of the approach procedure, and the results of the validation for visual segment surface conducted at an airport.

Total robotic right hepatectomy for multifocal hepatocellular carcinoma using vessel sealer

  • Rapid adoption of a robotic approach as a minimally invasive surgery tool has enabled surgeons to perform more complex hepatobiliary surgeries than conventional laparoscopic surgery. Although various types of liver resections have been performed robotically, parenchymal transection is challenging as commonly used instruments (Cavitron Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator [CUSA] and Harmonic) lack articulation. Further, CUSA also requires a patient-side assistant surgeon with hepatobiliary laparoscopic skills. We present a case report of total robotic right hepatectomy for multifocal hepatocellular carcinoma in a 70-year-old male using 'Vessel Sealer' for parenchymal transection. Total operative time was 520 minutes with a blood loss of ~400 mL. There was no technical difficulty or instrument failure encountered during surgery. The patient was discharged on postoperative day five without any significant complications such as bile leak. Thus, Vessel Sealer, a fully articulating instrument intended to seal vessels and tissues up to 7 mm, can be a promising tool for parenchymal transection in a robotic surgery.

  • This paper presents the cogging torque analysis of the permanent magnet type AC servo motor which have the closed slot structure. Generally, existence of the slot opening causes the cogging torque. But the cogging torque exists in this type motor(having closed slot structure) because the bridge part is saturated by the rotor flux. In this paper, the finite element analysis is used to calculate the cogging torque and the rated torque. As the size of the bridge part-the thickness and the width-changes, the cogging torque and the rated torque are obtained repeatedly like as upper procedures. Finally, the trends of the cogging torque and the rated torque versus the size of the bridge part are obtained from this analysis procedures. By this approach, the optimal geometry of the bridge part can be found which minimize the cogging torque satisfying the required value of the rated torque.

사회적지지 측정도구의 신뢰도와 타당도 연구 (A Social Support Measure : Reliability and Validity)

  • The purpose of the study was to determine the convergent validity, discriminant validity and internal consistancy reliability of the social support and family support measuring tool. Two procedures were used : 1) Campbell and Fiske's multitrait-multimethod approach and item total correlation with Chronbach's $\alpha$. The result suggest that SNM, NSSQ, SNM/family, NSSQ/famliy is a valid and a reliable instrument for measuring social support. But PRQ part2 is low in convergent validity. The results further suggest that we have to more attention to a valid and reliable likert type scale for social support.

Single-Port Thoracic Surgery: A New Direction

  • Single-port video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) has slowly established itself as an alternate surgical approach for the treatment of an increasingly wide range of thoracic conditions. The potential benefits of fewer surgical incisions, better cosmesis, and less postoperative pain and paraesthesia have led to the technique's popularity worldwide. The limited single small incision through which the surgeon has to operate poses challenges that are slowly being addressed by improvements in instrument design. Of note, instruments and video-camera systems that are narrower and angulated have made single-port VATS major lung resection easier to perform and learn. In the future, we may see the development of subcostal or embryonic natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery access, evolution in anaesthesia strategies, and cross-discipline imaging-assisted lesion localization for single-port VATS procedures.
