학교 건강증진 사업을 위한 사회생태학적 모형의 이론적 접근 (A Theoretical Approach of Social Ecological Model for School Health Promotion Program)

  • Objectives: This study is to draw the design of the program which is improve school health promotion participation by applying the Social Ecological Model based on the literature review on the health promotion. Methods: Literature review was carried out based on 5 factors of social ecological model using computer search engines of Google, ProQuest, and Riss4U. Results; Social Ecological Model is consist of individual, interpersonal, institutional/organizational, community, and policy. Individual sphere is drawn from Health Belief Model, interpersonal sphere is Social Support Theory, institutional/ organizational sphere is institutional resources theory, community sphere is community model, and policy sphere is Social Marketing Theory. The literature review show that the important variables affecting health promotion exist in each sphere. Individual sphere has social economic status, age, sex, sensitivity and specificity of illness, self-efficacy. Interpersonal sphere has support and use of family, friend and neighbor. Institutional/Organizational sphere has environment service reliability and utility. Conclusions: Community sphere has distance, neighborhood safety, interrelationship among institutions. Policy sphere has cost, legislation advertisement, lobby and concern and leadership of Institution.

The Effect of Ownership Structure of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on Dividend Initiation: A Case Study in Malaysia

  • This study aims to determine the factors that affect dividends initiation by initial public offering firms in Malaysia. The ownership structure is examined from a corporate governance theoretical perspective in order to evaluate the impacts of managerial, institutional, and family ownership on the dividend's initiation decision of IPO firms. This study employs a quantitative pooled cross-section of 372 Malaysian IPO companies active during the period of 2002-2013. The number of firms that went public each year varies, thus the pooled cross-section data takes place in this case rather than the panel data. The logistic model was employed to test the proposed hypotheses. The results revealed that the presence of institutional investors in the ownership structure make it more likely for IPO firms to initiate dividends. On the contrary, the presence of a family ownership structure in IPO companies as the controlling shareholder makes these companies less probable to initiate dividends. Managerial ownership was found to have no effect on the decision of initiating dividends by IPO firms. The findings of this study suggest that the existence of institutional and family ownerships are agency cost mitigators, as these ownership types could prompt IPOs firms to initiate dividends to overcome the agency conflicts.

기혼 직장여성의 출산의도 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determinants of Married-Working Women's Childbirth Intention)

  • Postponing childbirth is becoming increasingly common and consequently serious social problem in Korea, among married-working women. It is relatively unknown which factors determine married-working women's childbirth intention. This study investigated the effects of demographical factors, labor market factors and social support factors on married-working women's childbirth intention. Data from a national survey of married-working women (Korean longitudinal survey of women and families) are used in this study. The findings are as follows. First, logistic regression analyses that married-working women's childbirth intention could be predicted by 1) personal characteristic factors such as age (p <.000), education level (p<.029), parenthood (p<.000) monthly pay (p<.01); 2) husband support factors, such as satisfaction with division of household labor (p<.009), time with family (p<.049) influence of family life on work (p<.083); and 3) institutional support factors such as regular position (p<.015), regression analysis showed similar results. Personal characteristic factors and husband support factors had statistically significant effects on the number of future children. Personal value factors such as traditional family support (p<.05) proved to be the best predictor of the number of future children. Institutional support factors, on the other hand, did not have statistically significant effect on the number of future children. In a nutshell, personal characteristics and husband support proved to be the most important determinant of married-working women's childbirth intention. The findings suggest that family friendly policy and flexible labor market policy will impact married-working women's childbirth intention.

치과위생사의 이미지 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determinant Factors the Image of Dental hygienists)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine what factors determined the image of dental hygienists. The subjects in this study were 396 patients and caregivers who visited 14 dental institutes in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. After a survey was conducted, the following findings were given: 1. As for what factors had a decisive impact on the image of dental hygienists, friendliness(4.53) ranked first. 2. The image of dental hygienists was decided by five different kinds of factors, which included institutional, subjective, work-related, formal and media factors. Those factors made a 57.827% prediction of the image of dental hygienists. 3. The relationship of their general characteristics to the decisive factors of dental hygienist image was as follows: 1) By age(pE0.01), marital status(pE0.01), education(pE0.01), occupation(pE0.001), were under the significantly different influence of the formal factor(pE0.01). 2) As to the type of dental institutes they visited, the subjective factor exercised a significantly different influence on the groups(pE0.01). 3) Regarding the frequency of visiting dental institutes, the institutional and work-related factors had a significantly different impact on the groups(pE0.05). 4) Concerning the experience of the caregivers, the work-related factor exercised a significantly different influence on the groups(pE0.05). 5) As to connections between their general characteristics and the decisive factors of dental hygienist image in different areas, the subjective factor mostly had the strongest impact, and the formal factor was least influential.

연구실 사전유해인자위험분석 적용방안 및 제도도입 연구 (A Study on Application Method & System Introduction of Laboratory Pre-hazards Risk Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop risk assessment techniques and institutional analysis of domestic and international, the management techniques that can efficiently manage the harmful factor of the laboratory and to present the institutional measures that can be efficiently implemented. Due to a variety of adverse factors of laboratory, accidents of laboratory of various forms have occurred, but there is no risk assessment system in order to manage this effectively. So, we investigated this domestic existing risk assessment methods and the outside of the risk assessment system, and also analyzed accidents of domestic laboratory that occurred in 2014. In addition, we targeted the 24 laboratories in 21 universities to investigate the management of harmful factors of the laboratory and performed applying test for 12 domestic laboratories. Existing risk evaluation system, such as PMS, SMS, off-site impact assessment, since the industrial site is the subject, is a difficult problem to be directly applied to the laboratory of the research institute. So, we implemented management status and harmful factors survey and classified the research and development activities based on this data. Finally we developed "pre-hazards risk analysis method" to create each of the safety management measures. In addition, research activities personnel conducted voluntarily risk assessment, which is shared by institutions and government. It is presented the institutional system for safety management of laboratory. Its result, pre-hazards risk analysis method and institutionalization scheme will be able to achieve laboratory accident prevention system.

기관리포지터리 수용모형 연구: 과학분야 연구자를 중심으로 (The Adoption Model of Institutional Repositories: Which Constructs Attract Scientists to Share Their Research Outputs?)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과학분야 연구자를 대상으로 기관리포지터리 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 도출하고 이들 요인들간의 관계를 규명함으로써 기관리포지터리 수용모형을 개발하는 것이다. 270명의 물리수학분야와 생명과학분야 연구자들이 응답한 설문조사와 12명의 심층면담 내용 분석 결과, 개인의 심리적 특성이 기관리포지터리 수용의도에 가장 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그 다음은 성과기대, 사회조직적 영향 순으로 확인되었으나, 인지된 위험은 유의한 영향을 주지 못하는 것으로 검증되었다. 기관리포지터리 수용의도 향상을 위한 전략으로 국가주도적 제도 개선 방안과 운영 기관의 역할강화 및 홍보 방안, 그리고 연구자의 참여유도형 서비스방안을 제언하였다.

외식 프랜차이즈 기업의 수익성과 영향 요인 분석 (Analysis of profitability and its affecting factors in restaurant franchise firms)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the profitability of audited restaurant franchise firms and to investigate the financial variables affecting profitability. This study decomposed profit variation into the three main factors comprising the Du Pont Identity (operating efficiency, asset use efficiency and financial leverage). The operating efficiency of restaurant franchise firms was on the rise until 2004, but dropped dramatically in 2005. Especially, the profit margin dropped from 13.46% in 2004 to 6.54% in 2005. The asset use efficiency has been decreasing since 2003. The total asset turnover ratio, which can be indicative of over-investment, dropped from 1.55 in 2003 to 1.50 in 2005. The financial leverage remained stable after 2002. There were major differences in debt accumulation among the firms, and the current level of debt was thought to be higher in the restaurant industry than in other industries. Based on the results of a multiple regression analysis, we concluded that the factors affecting ROE were the debt-equity ratio, total asset turnover and the size of the firm. The debt-equity ratio and total asset turnover had a significantly positive effect on ROE, while the firm size had a significantly negative effect on ROE. However, the current ratio and sales growth rate were not significant. The finding that firm size and profitability were negatively related implied that restaurant franchise firms should pursue qualitative growth rather than quantitative growth. There was no major difference in profitability between domestic brands and foreign brands. However, the domestic brand was more efficient in terms of asset usage than the foreign brand.

한·중·일 해외직접투자의 역사적 전개와 특성 분석 (A Documentary Study on the Historical Trend and Characteristics of FDI - focusing on the case of Korea, China, and Japan -)

  • 1990년대 이후 세계경제의 글로벌화로 인해 자본이동과 투자규모가 증대되면서 전 세계 해외직접투자가 급격히 증가하였고, 해외직접투자가 국가경쟁력 강화에 미치는 영향 또한 증대되었다. 본 연구는 한국, 중국, 일본을 대상으로 해외직접투자 개시 시점에서 현재에 이르기까지 각 국의 해외직접투자가 역사적으로 어떻게 전개되어 왔으며 어떠한 특성을 보이는지를 비교분석하였다. 역사적 전개와 특성의 비교분석을 위해 제도적관점, 자원기반관점, 산업기반관점 등 국가, 기업, 산업수준의 요인들을 고려하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 제도적인 요소가 공통적으로 3국의 해외직접투자를 이끈 주된 요인이며 둘째, 투자 동기변화에 있어 한국과 일본이 유사한 경로를 가지는 반면, 중국은 상이한 경로를 보여주고 있다. 셋째, 3국의 해외직접투자 성장 속도는 요소조건과 수요조건에 의해 달라진다.

연구관리전문기관의 사업형태에 따른 국가R&D 사업관리 효율성 분석 (Efficiency Analysis for R&D Management according to Operation Type of Funding Agencies)

  • 본 연구는 정부와 전문기관간에 위임-대리인관계가 대리인문제를 발생시키고 연구관리전문기관의 효율성에 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 가정 하에, 법적위탁이 아닌 계약에 의한 위탁사업은 사업수탁에 대한 불확실성과 외부영향에 의한 대리인 비용 발생으로 법적 위탁사업 보다 효율성이 낮을 것이라는 가설을 검증하고 사업별 효율성에 미치는 영향요인들을 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 정부와 전문기관간의 세부사업별 사업위탁방식(더미변수)과 사업관리비 비율간의 관계를 분석하기 위해 사업방식(Top-down/bottom-up), 사업규모(예산, 과제수), 기관운영경비 편성비중, 기관의 수권예산대비 출연금 비율 등을 통제변수로 사용하였다. 분석결과에 따르면, 사업관리 효율성과 정부와의 사업위임방식(법적위임)간의 양의 상관성이 확인되었으며, 전문기관의 안정성과 독립성을 반영할 수 있는 법적지위 및 예산 구조 관점에서의 시사점이 도출되었다. 본 연구의 정책적 함의로서, 전문기관의 사업관리 효율성을 높이기 위해서는 법적인 안정성과 예산의 안정성이 확보되어야 하고 이를 통해, 위임자-대리인 문제에서 발생하는 도덕적 해이나, 역선택을 회피할 수도 있다는 점을 시사한다.

데이터 거버넌스 실증연구: 구성요소 간 구조적 관계와 영향을 중심으로 (An empirical study on data governance: Focusing on structural relationships and effects of components)

  • 디지털전환과 AI·데이터시대가 심화되면서 데이터의 원활한 흐름과 활용을 위한 데이터 정책, 그리고 그 의사결정 구조로서의 데이터 거버넌스에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 기존의 데이터 거버넌스 연구들을 살펴보면, 데이터 거버넌스 자체의 측정이나 사례 분석은 많이 이루어지고 있으나 실증연구가 부족한 것으로 보인다. 이 논문에서는 데이터 거버넌스의 구성요소 간 구조적 관계와 그것이 목표로 하는 데이터 융합이나 데이터기반행정 등에 미치는 영향을 실증하고자 하였다. 첫째, 데이터 거버넌스에 대한 다양한 정의와 구성요소 및 유형화의 방식, 이를 적용한 선행연구들을 살펴보고, 공공 부문에 특화된 데이터 정책 관점의 정의를 개발하여 적용하였다. 둘째, 분석틀과 가설을 설정하고, 검증을 위해 한국행정연구원의 '공공데이터 정책 활용 실태조사' 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 데이터 거버넌스 구성요소 중 조직 요소가 제도 요소와 기술 요소 사이에서 매개적 효과를 나타내었고, 제도 요소와 기술 요소가 데이터 융합이나 데이터기반행정에 통계적으로 유의한 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 데이터 거버넌스에서 법제도의 개선과 개발에 대한 관심과 투자, 데이터 기술의 수단과 목적에 대한 명확화, 데이터 조직과 인력에 대한 관심과 실제적으로 작동할 수 있는 메커니즘의 개발 등, 몇 가지 중요한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.
