The scores of transformational and contingent reward behaviors were declined of the mid-level nurse administrators. The transactional scores of nurse administrators were lower than transformational ones, which is a desirable findings. The result of this study, the mid-level nurses administrators were perceived as the highest transformational leader by their subordinates. The nurse executives received the lower transformational leadership scores than mid-leval administrators. These results were opposit to the previous studies. Leader can aspire to these qualities of transformational leadership, building on the more traditional transactional dimensions. • The objective of this thesis is to analyze the impact of transactional and transformational leadership styles on job performance. This research employs questionnaire surveys and statistical analysis to examine the relationships among the three variables. The subjects of this thesis are bank employees, and the survey was conducted using a random sampling method via online questionnaires. Data was statistically analyzed using SPSS 28.0, which included frequency analysis, reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The findings indicate that transformational leadership can significantly enhance job performance by encouraging innovation and boosting employee morale. Conversely, transactional leadership, with its excessive emphasis on rules and procedures and a strict reward and punishment system, may limit employees' innovative capabilities and reduce their satisfaction, thus negatively affecting job performance. This thesis contributes to understanding the impact of leadership styles on organizational effectiveness, advancing leadership theories, and providing theoretical support for organizational management decisions.

  • Since service innovation is considered as a new way to gain an advantage in a highly competitive environment, it is imperative for companies to align their service innovation strategy with their business strategy in order to achieve better firm performance. Accordingly, a critical challenge facing firms is how to effectively organize and manage a well-planned service innovation strategy in accordance with the direction of their business strategy. Firms with a good fit between business strategy (i.e., cost leadership, innovative differentiation, and marketing differentiation strategies) and service innovation strategy (service creation-focused, service delivery-focused, and client interface-focused strategies) are expected to have better firm performance than those without such a fit. Based on empirical data from 209 service firms in South Korea, this study aims first to investigate whether a certain service innovation strategy is more effective than others within a particular business strategy. We then examine whether their effective alignment positively affects firm performance. The empirical evidence indicates that the alignment of service innovation strategy with business strategy significantly influences firm performance. The adoption of service innovation strategy was found to have positive effects on firm performance with innovative differentiation and marketing differentiation strategies and negative effects with cost leadership strategy. Lastly, we discuss our study's implications for further research and practice.

  • Since business startups are known to have positive effects on the economic growth of a country, it is necessary to review the factors influencing the willingness to start new businesses for the people to act on business startups. In this regard, the study sought to reexamine the findings of previous research showing that the innovative, initiative, and risk-taking characteristics, which are the constitutive elements of entrepreneurships, influence the willingness to start up. Furthermore, in this study, attempts were made to empirically analyze the direct and indirect relationships of self-leadership influencing the willingness to start new businesses. Consequently, first, it showed that college students' entrepreneurship has positive effects on the willingness to start new businesses. Second, the significance of the gender of college students was not confirmed as to playing a regulating role in the relationship between entrepreneurship and the willingness to start up. Third, the relationship between self-leadership and the willingness to start new businesses was validated to be significant in a positive direction. Fourth, no mediating effect of self-leadership in the relationship between entrepreneurship and the willingness to start new businesses was observed. Such research results have the following significances. First, while there is an awareness that the concepts of business start- up, entrepreneurship, and leadership carry masculinity, the lack of regulating effect of gender may reflect the changing phases of time and society where women's participation has been increasing. Second, self-leadership is a concept by which one pioneers his or her own life and an influencing factor on the willingness to start up; however, since it has enormous impacts on the entrepreneurship and willingness to start up, relevant mediating effects were not observed and the magnitude of the important influence between entrepreneurship and the willingness to start up were confirmed.

  • The purpose of this study is to classify men's fashion leadership into groups and analyzed the differences for the actual conditions of cosmetics purchasing and evaluation criteria. Questionnaires are being administered from 163 men in their 20's and 30's living in Deagu Metropolitan City and Kyungbook. Frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan-test, and $X^2$-test are all used for data analysis. Our findings are as follows. Men's fashion leadership is being categorized into fashion opinion leadership, innovative communicator and fashion innovator. Cosmetics evaluation criteria are service/aesthetic, ostentatious, function, and economy. Men's fashion leadership is classified into three groups: fashion laggards, fashion leaders, and fashion followers. Males show no significant differences in the function of cosmetics evaluation criteria by the groups but they show significances in service/aesthetic, ostentatious, and economy. Groups display distinctions between the sub-variables in the actual condition of cosmetics purchasing such the place of purchase, companionship when buying cosmetics, and average monthly purchase amount. Although the cosmetic markets for men show high average growth rates per year, cosmetic interests at the age of twenties and thirties are generally low, and cosmetics are not actively used. The customers' experience of using merchandise not only provide the opportunities of trying beforehand, but also lead to the role of information transfer, thus, it can be positively applied to active marketing. In addition, it can be expected that the low-priced cosmetic markets are guaranteed to obtain loyal customers through repurchasing and maintain long-term relationships by providing fashion followers with several promotional events.
