제품-기술로드맵 개발을 강화하기 위한 예측모델링에 관한 실증 연구 (An Empirical Study on Predictive Modeling to enhance the Product-Technical Roadmap)

  • 최근 시스템 반도체 발전으로 인하여 자동차 산업의 전장(電裝)에 대한 기술혁신이 빠르게 진행되고 있다. 특히, 자동차의 전장화는 자동차 부품업체들의 기술개발 경쟁을 가속화시키고 있으며, 개발 주기 또한 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 이러한 변화로 인하여 연구개발에 대한 전략과 기획의 중요성은 더욱 강화되고 있다. 자동차 산업의 패러다임 변화로 인하여, 연구개발 전략 중의 하나인 제품-기술로드맵(P/TRM)은 기획 단계에서 기술예측, 기업의 기술수준평가, 기술획득방법(Make/Collaborate/Buy) 등의 분석을 통하여 개발이 이루어져야 한다. 제품-기술로드맵은 제품과 기술의 고객 니즈를 파악하고 기술의 선정, 개발방향을 설정하는 툴(Tool)로써, 미래의 발전방향 추세를 예측하고 매크로(Macro) 트랜드의 전략적 방향성과 목표를 설정하는데 사용된다. 하지만, 대부분의 기업에서는 해당 기술의 논문이나 특허 분석, 전문가 델파이에 주로 의존하는 정성적인 방법을 통하여 제품-기술로드맵을 개발하고 있다. 본 연구는 가트너의 하이프 사이클과 누적이동평균 기반 데이터 전처리, 딥러닝(LSTM) 시계열 분석 기법을 융합하여 자동차 산업 중심으로 제품-기술로드맵을 보완하고 강화시킬 수 있는 시뮬레이션을 통하여 실증 연구를 진행하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 실증 연구는 자동차 산업 뿐만 아니라, 범용적으로 타제조업 분야에서도 사용 가능할 수 있다. 또한, 기업적인 측면에서는 그동안 정성적인 방법에 의존하던 로드맵 작성 방법에서 탈피하여 좀 더 정확한 제품-기술로드맵을 통하여 적기에 시장에 제품을 제공함으로써 선도업체로 나아가기 위한 밑거름이 될 것이라고 사료된다.

지역혁신사업 추진지역의 산업 클러스터 형성여건과 정책적 함의 (Promoting Regional Innovation Projects and Cluster Formation in Korea)

  • 이 논문은 우리나라 산업 클러스터 형성여건을 파악하고 정책적 함의를 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 지역혁신사업 추진 주체들을 대상으로 지역의 클러스터 형성수준을 조사한 설문조사 결과를 활용하였다. 그 결과 수도권과 비수도권, 대도시와 중소도시 간에는 클러스터 형성여건과 발전단계가 상이하다. 집적 등 기반조성기 요인들은 양호하나 형성기 요인들인 전략산업별 연구자, 벤처기업과 대기업 관계, 경영, 금융 및 마케팅 등 기업지원기관 및 분리신설기업 등은 취약한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 발전된 지역과 저 발전된 지역을 구분하고 지역의 여건과 발전단계에 맞는 다양한 사업을 개발하여 추진할 필요가 있다. 수도권과 지방간의 균형발전이 중요한 현 시점에서 지역혁신사업의 입지는 형평성 보다는 효율성, 분산 보다는 집적, 백화점식 보다는 지역의 특화를 고려하여 선정 추진하는 것이 필요하다. 발전된 지역은 지역내 균형발전 방향, 저 발전된 지역은 지역내 선택과 집중 방향으로 추진할 필요가 있다.

중소기업의 기술능력 제고를 위한 기술하부구조정책: 미국의 MEP와 한국의 중진공을 중심으로 한 사례 비교

  • This study analyzes the development of technological infrastructure(TI) and technological infrastructure policy(TIP) to enhance the technological capabilities of small and mid-sized manufacturing enterprises(SMEs) in the U.S. and Korea in terms of the technological system(TS) concept, which is composed of technological infrastructure, industrial organization, and institutional infrastructure. In order to analyze the internal dynamics of the system, such as incentive mechanisms, the interaction among economic actors, and the policy implementation process, we compare the MEP(Manufacturing Extension Partnership) system of the U.S. and the Joong-Jin-Gong system of Korea. Among many similarities, contrasts, and insights from each country's effort to construct TI and TS, the main findings are as follows. (1) Both the MEP system and the Joong-Jin-Cong system are TI-led or government-led type TS. However, the nation-wide picture is different: in the U.S., most TSs including the MEP system., are classified as TI-led type; in Korea, many TI-assisted or private sector-led TSs have been developed since the early 1960s. (2) the MEP system, as a representative case of the U.S., is less stable than the Joong-Jin-Gong system of Korea in terms of financing and political cycle. (3) The MEP system is a more complex and cooperative network than the Joong-Jin-Gong system. NIST, as a critical mass, generates the system, bridges various institutions, and influences the development of the system by providing funding. (4) Regarding TI components, TSs in both countries focus on utilizing off-the-shelf technologies rather than advanced technologies. However, the direction of movement is different: in the U.S., TSs have come to emphasize existing technologies to counterbalance an innovation system that has been highly focused toward new technologies; in Korea, TSs have been moving from focusing on a higher diffusion rate of imported process technologies to stressing new technology development. (5) Personnel and staffing, embodying technological capability, is an important concern in both countries. But the human capital infrastructure of the U.S. system is more efficient and industry-oriented than that of the Korean system due to a more flexible labor market. (6) While the U.S. has a strong tradition of state and local autonomy in constructing TI and TS to fit SMEs's specific need, Korea has a centralized and bureaucratically-led policy implementation process.

A Case Study of ERP Implementation for PCB Manufacturer

  • This study researched an enterprise resources planning (ERP) implementation project at a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturer. In depth research was achieved by participating and observing in an implementation project at an actual PCB manufacturer. It is hoped that this study will contribute a valuable reference resource for future PCB manufacturers that wish to select or implement ERP systems. The first step in implementing ERP software is to set a clear target. At the same time, the tasks of each department and the system of cooperation between departments must be clearly defined. In this way, the cycle time of each flow and the accuracy of data will both be improved. In order to ensure smooth implementation of an ERP project, the followings are key factors: (1) an ERP system that suits the PCB industry; (2) effective project management; (3) effective project cost/budget control; (4) project problem management system; (5) comprehensive implementation method and information technology (IT), etc. By keeping to these principals, Company A achieved rapid transactions, and lower total cycle times and inventory levels, and other such benefits that had been predicted.

이 기종 조선 PLM 시스템 간 BOM Data 교환을 위한 조선 온톨로지 Framework 구축 (Building and Applying Shipbuilding Ontology for BOM Data Interoperability in Heterogeneous Shipbuilding PLM Systems)

  • Shipbuilding is a complex industry which contains a lot of knowledge, technology, and utilities. Hence, the necessity of the PLM (Product Life-cycle Management) system which manages life-cycle information of marine product has been increased. So, many studies related to shipbuilding PLM have been preceded, and there are some cases to be built. To implement collaboration and concurrent engineering of ship designing and manufacturing, interoperability of product data in heterogeneous system is required. Also, sharing and reusing knowledge are important for innovation of business process and productivity of enterprises. Even though many studies related interoperability of product data are going on in varies domain, the application to shipbuilding is deficient. This paper proposes a methodology for management and interconnection of BOM data based on ontology in heterogeneous PLM system of shipbuilding. Using Prot$\'{e}$g$\'{e}$-OWL, we built simple domain ontology of shipbuilding industry, and then, we integrated product information of shipbuilding BOM which is represented with different ontologies. We verified possibility of integration of shipbuilding BOM in heterogeneous PLM, using ontology.

Undrained cyclic shear characteristics and crushing behaviour of silica sand

  • This paper presents an investigation of the liquefaction characteristics and particle crushing of isotropically consolidated silica sand specimens at a wide range of confining pressures varying from 0.1 MPa to 5 MPa during undrained cyclic shearing. Different failure patterns of silica sand specimens subjected to undrained cyclic loading were seen at low and high pressures. The sudden change points with regard to the increasing double amplitude of axial strain with cycle number were identified, regardless of confining pressure. A higher cyclic stress ratio caused the specimen to liquefy at a relatively smaller cycle number, conversely producing a larger relative breakage $B_r$. The rise in confining pressure also resulted in the increasing relative breakage. At a specific cyclic stress ratio, the relative breakage and plastic work increased with the rise in the cyclic loading. Less particle crushing and plastic work consumption was observed for tests terminated after one cyclic loading. Majority of the particle crushing was produced and majority of the plastic work was consumed after the specimen passed through the phase transformation point and until reaching the failure state. The large amount of particle crushing resulted from the high-level strain induced by particle transformation and rotation.

대퇴절단자와 정상인 걸음걸이의 운동학적 요인과 발목관절 강성 비교 (Comparisons of Kinematic Factors and Stiffnesses of the Lower-limb Joints between Transfemoral Amputees and Normal Adults)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare kinematic variables and stiffnesses of ankle joints between normal person and transfemoral amputee gait in order to develop or fit prosthetic leg. Twenty subjects (ten normal persons and ten transfemoral amputees) participated in this experiment, and walked three trials at a self-selected pace. The gait motions were captured with Vicon system and variables were calculated with Visual-3D. The velocity, stride length, stride width, cycle time, double limb support time and right swing time of gaits were statistically significant. Because coefficients of variability of normal persons on velocity, double limb support time and swing time were greater than transfemoral amputees, normal persons controlled these gait variables effectively. The stiffnesses of ankle joints were not statistically significant, but patterns of stiffnesses of ankle joints during three rockers were absolutely different. The negative correlations between stiffnesses of ankle joints and cycle time and swing time were presented. These differences suggest that developing and fitting prosthetic leg were demanded. Further studies should develop fitting program and simulator of prosthetic leg.

병원의 위기관리 시스템 (Crisis Management System in Hospitals)

  • This study is to introduce a comprehensive framework of a crisis management system developed at a prominent hospital in South Korea. Throughout recent decades, especially in the recent years, the way in which to cope with both internal and external challenges has been one of the most critical issues. Since the incident management system in the U.S. is acknowledged as the most advanced crisis management model in the world, a portion of this study refers to the Hospital Incident Command System(HICS) provided by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority(EMSA). Nevertheless, the framework suggested in this article was designed based on a distinctive Korean hospital setting. The main contents of this study are as follows; categorization of each type of crisis, organization of a crisis management team in a non-crisis or crisis state, crisis assessment by life cycle stage, and establishment of crisis management protocol. Even though many types of crises are unspecified, those can be categorized into external crisis, medical crisis, and utility & activity failure. A crisis management organization should be operated and consisted differently- depending on a crisis or non-crisis situation. From a life-cycle perspective, the range by which the crisis should be managed extends from pre-stage to post-stage of the crisis. It is important to set proper scenarios and manuals by crisis type to develop a crisis management framework of high quality. With continuous efforts, hospitals can prepare for the uncertainty to better concentrate on core business operations.

Negative Word-of-Mouths in Online Community : Contents and Life Cycles

  • Word-of-mouths (WOMs) are now an important information source for purchase decision. Due to the advance in internet technology, people now can share online their consumption experience, both positive and negative, to others. The WOMs may diffuse to not only their friends but also enormous online users. When consumers dissatisfy the product or service, they may share the dissatisfactory experience to others as WOM, which may bring out discussions for the product or service. The discussions on the negative WOM may help to communicate the negative information to enormous others, which may damage the sale of the product or service. The diffusion and life cycle of negative WOM is an important issue for managers. However, few studies focus on it. Thus, the current study focuses on the discussion pattern and life cycle of negative WOMs by observing the 782 discussion articles in a large online community.

정부의 기술개발 지원이 중소기업의 기술혁신 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Government R&D Supports on SME's Technological Innovation Performance in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 정부의 기술개발 지원이 중소기업의 기술혁신 성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 정부의 기술개발 지원이 중소기업의 기술혁신 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 271개 국내 중소기업을 대상으로 실증 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 정부 기술개발 지원이 중소기업의 혁신성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 중소기업에 대한 대기업의 지원정도가 높을수록, 중소기업의 R&D 인력비율이 높을수록, 그리고 벤처인증을 받은 중소기업일수록 정부 기술개발 지원이 중소기업의 기술혁신 성과에 미치는 영향은 작아지는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 중소기업의 시장 환경이 적대적일수록, 정부 지원에 따른 중소기업의 기술혁신 성과는 높아졌다. 본 연구는 동일 기업에 대해 시간적 간격을 두고 두 차례에 걸쳐 자료를 수집, 분석함으로써 정부의 기술개발 지원이 중소기업의 성과에 미치는 영향을 보다 정확하게 분석함으로써 정부당국과 중소기업에 이론적, 실무적 시사점을 제공하였다. 결론에서는 본 연구의 표본 선정절차, 데이터 수집방법, 변수 측정방법 등 전체적인 측면에서 본 연구가 안고 있는 한계점과 향후 연구방향에 대해 논의하였다.
