커먼 레일 시스템 인젝터의 파라미터 변화에 따른 거동특성 해석 (Analysis of Behavior Characteristics of Common Rail System Injector for the Variations of Injector Parameters)

  • This paper focuses on the modelling of common rail diesel injector using the AMESim code and shows the appropriateness of the developed model. For the developed injector model, simulations are carried out to analyze the behavior characteristics of the injector for the variations of injector model parameters such as orifice diameters, rail pressures, and energizing times. Simulation results show that the diameters of inlet and outlet orifices have close relation with injection quantity. Increment of rail pressure and energizing time provides increment of injection quantity, and simulated energizing time map shows injection characteristics of the common rail injector.

사출 금형 설계를 위한 엔지니어링 데이터베이스의 개발 (Development of Engineering Database for Injection Mold Design)

  • Engineering database for CIM of injection mold production has been developed to manage design information and parameters of injection mold. The database has direct connection with product data management system and management database. Design specifications are generated in initial stage of mold design with integration of management information. Design parameters and bill of materials for mold base parts are generated during the CAD process and transferred to the manufacturing database and procurement system. Standard modules for parts and mold base are constructed using national standard and legacy data of industries. The engineering database provides important information route for CIM of injection mold design and production.

해저터널에서 주입에 의한 차수효과 연구 (A Study on the Impermeable Effect by Grouting in the Subsea Tunnel)

  • 본 연구에서는 편마암지역의 NATM 해저터널 막장 9개소에서 실시한 차수 주입홀 315공에 대한 주입재 주입량에 대하여 RMR 분류요소들과 주입재 주입량, 루전값과 RQD, 루전값과 시멘트 주입량의 상관관계를 분석하여 암반 차수 주입 효과를 연구하였다. 연구대상 해저터널에서 막장별 주입재 총주입량은 일부 막장에서 다소 변화폭은 있으나, 불연속면의 간격(R3, Js)과 지하수상태(R5)에서 분류요소의 평점이 높을수록 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 막장별 총주입량은 RMR 분류요소들보다는 탄성파탐사(3D, TSP)의 지질이상대 및 감지공의 유입량과 상관관계가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 단위주입량은 불연속면의 상태(Jc, R4)의 풍화도를 제외한 RMR 분류요소들에서 평점이 높을수록 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. RQD와 루전값은 상관관계가 크지 않으나, RQD 값이 클수록 루전값이 감소하는 경향을 확인할 수 있었다.

The observation of permeation grouting method as soil improvement technique with different grout flow models

  • This study concluded the results of a research on the features of cement based permeation grout, based on some important grout parameters, such as the rheological properties (yield stress and viscosity), coefficient of permeability to grout ($k_G$) and the inject ability of cement grout (N and $N_c$ assessment), which govern the performance of cement based permeation grouting in porous media. Due to the limited knowledge of these important grout parameters and other influencing factors (filtration pressure, rate and time of injection and the grout volume) used in the field work, the application of cement based permeation grouting is still largely a trial and error process in the current practice, especially in the local construction industry. It is seen possible to use simple formulas in order to select the injection parameters and to evaluate their inter-relationship, as well as to optimize injection spacing and times with respect to injection source dimensions and in-situ permeability. The validity of spherical and cylindrical flow model was not verified by any past research works covered in the literature review. Therefore, a theoretical investigation including grout flow models and significant grout parameters for the design of permeation grouting was conducted in this study. This two grout flow models were applied for three grout mixes prepared for w/c=0.75, w/c=1.00 and w/c=1.25 in this study. The relations between injection times, radius, pump pressure and flow rate for both flow models were investigated and the results were presented. Furthermore, in order to investigate these two flow model, some rheological properties of the grout mixes, particle size distribution of the cement used in this study and some geotechnical properties of the sand used in this work were defined and presented.

다구치 법을 통한 다이슬라이드식 사출성형의 공정파라미터 최적화 (Optimization of Process Parameters of Die Slide Injection by Using Taguchi Method)

  • 플라스틱 제품의 다이슬라이드식 사출성형은 기존 사출공법의 부가공정을 삭제하여 제품 생산에 요구되는 비용과 시간을 현저히 줄여준다. 그러나 다이슬라이드식 사출성형은 사출제품의 백화, 수지침투, 기공, 수지넘침 등의 결함들을 해결해야한다. 본 연구에서는 사출성형의 공정파라미터들을 유한요소법과 다구치법을 사용하여 최적화하고자 한다. 사출 성형해석은 Moldflow insight 2010 코드로 해석하며 2차 사출에서는 다단 사출코드를 적용한다. 폴리프로필렌(PP)을 밀폐용기인 냉각수 보조탱크로 성형할 때 사용하는 공정파라미터들은 다구치법의 망소특성과 $L_{16}$ 직교배열을 사용한 실험계획을 통해 최적화된다. 한편 최적값은 유의수준 5% 수준의 분산분석을 통해 타당성을 검증한다. 그리고 최적화 조건에서 성형된 제품과 기존 제품의 치수정확도를 비교한 결과 치수안정성이 5% 이상 개선됨을 확인하였다.

  • The injection molding of the plastic optics is basically same as the conventional molding except it requires very intricate control of all the molding processing parameters. In the plastic optics, the problem of injection molding is the shrinkage. The shrinkage must be removed and predicted. This shrinkage is becoming more important than any other problems in precision molding because it can affect the focal length of a lens or the total performance of the optical system. This study focused on avoiding the shrinkage that the mold design allows for the optics. In making mold, the surface accuracy(P-V) of the lower and lower mold are $0.201{\mu}m\;and\;0.434{\mu}m$ respectively. A surface roughness(Ra) is below $0.02{\mu}m$ due to selecting the appropriate tools and using the injection molding machine in high degree. In injection molding of the plastic lens, mold temperature, resine temperature and injecting pressure are important process parameters. Injection molding process is carried out according to varying mold temperature and injecting pressure. As a result P-V(peak to valley) of spheric lens is $3.478{\mu}m$ and that of aspheric lens is $1.786{\mu}m$.

  • Common rail injection system is flexible in injection timing, injection duration and pressure in engine. Many researches have reported on the merits in the application of common rail systems. This research investigated on characteristics and performance for single cylinder diesel engine with a common .ail injection system by varying major parameters such as injection timing, injection duration and common rail pressure. The injection timing and injection duration were controlled by electronic pulse generated. and common rail pressure were controlled by PCV driver. The 498cc single cylinder diesel engine was used in this experiment. All data for combustion pressure, injection timing and injection duration were recorded by Labview. Furthermore, this test was focused on how to optimize injection conditions.

  • 세라믹 사출공정(CIM)은 산업 분야 전반에 걸쳐 널리 사용되고 있는 공정 중 하나로, 점차 의료용 전자기기의 부품 등으로 확대 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 FEM 해석을 통해 CIM의 공정변수가 제품의 품질에 미치는 영향을 분석했다. 단순평판 형상의 해석결과를 기초로 구멍이 있는 형상, 모서리부가 둥근 형상 및 측벽 구조가 있는 형상 등과 비교 분석했다. 구멍이 있는 형상의 경우, 구멍 주변에 밀도분포가 고르지 못하며 용접선(weld-line)과 같은 결함이 발생할 수 있음을 예측할 수 있었다. 반면 제품의 모서리부 반경이 크면 성형성 및 유동성이 좋아지는 것을 확인했다. 따라서 CIM 공정변수 뿐만 아니라 제품의 형상변수도 고려해야 한다. 해석결과 온도, 초기분율, 속도 등의 공정변수는 제품의 품질 향상을 위한 중요한 설계 변수가 될 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

마이크로 주입장치를 이용한 용매치환결정화에 의한 중공상 수산화니켈 분말의 제조 (Preparation of Ni(OH)2 Hollow Spheres by Solvent Displacement Crystallization Using Micro-Injection Device)

  • $Ni(OH)_2$ hollow spheres have been prepared by solvent displacement crystallization using a micro-injection device, and the effect of process parameters such as concentration and the relative ratio of the injection speed of the precursor solution, which is an aqueous solution of $NiSO_4{\cdot}6H_2O$, to isopropyl alcohol of displacement solvent have been investigated. The crystal phases after NaOH treatment are in the ${\beta}-phase$ for all process parameters. A higher concentration of $NiSO_4{\cdot}6H_2O$ aqueous solution is injected by a micro-injection device and bigger $Ni(OH)_2$ hollow spheres with a narrower particle size distribution are formed. The crystallinity and hardness of the as-obtained powder are so poor that hydrothermal treatment of the as-obtained $Ni(OH)_2$ at $120^{\circ}C$ for 24 h in distilled water is performed in order to greatly improve the crystallinity. It is thought that a relative ratio of the injection speed of $NiSO_4{\cdot}6H_2O$ to that of isopropyl alcohol of at least more than 1 is preferable to synthesize Ni(OH)2 hollow spheres. It is confirmed that this solution-based process is very effective in synthesizing ceramic hollow spheres by simple adjustment of the process parameters such as the concentration and the injection speed.

다중 작업 학습 구조 기반 공정단계별 공정조건 및 성형품의 품질 특성을 반영한 사출성형품 품질 예측 신경망의 성능 개선에 대한 연구 (A study on the performance improvement of the quality prediction neural network of injection molded products reflecting the process conditions and quality characteristics of molded products by process step based on multi-tasking learning structure)

  • Injection molding is a process widely used in various industries because of its high production speed and ease of mass production during the plastic manufacturing process, and the product is molded by injecting molten plastic into the mold at high speed and pressure. Since process conditions such as resin and mold temperature mutually affect the process and the quality of the molded product, it is difficult to accurately predict quality through mathematical or statistical methods. Recently, studies to predict the quality of injection molded products by applying artificial neural networks, which are known to be very useful for analyzing nonlinear types of problems, are actively underway. In this study, structural optimization of neural networks was conducted by applying multi-task learning techniques according to the characteristics of the input and output parameters of the artificial neural network. A structure reflecting the characteristics of each process step was applied to the input parameters, and a structure reflecting the quality characteristics of the injection molded part was applied to the output parameters using multi-tasking learning. Building an artificial neural network to predict the three qualities (mass, diameter, height) of injection-molded product under six process conditions (melt temperature, mold temperature, injection speed, packing pressure, pacing time, cooling time) and comparing its performance with the existing neural network, we observed enhancements in prediction accuracy for mass, diameter, and height by approximately 69.38%, 24.87%, and 39.87%, respectively.
