In this paper, we propose the design and test measure of Ringer injection IoT system for controling the ringer injection status and notifying the server system of the collected status informations such as the completion of injection, the remaining liquid, the injection status, and the emergency alarming of the urgent patients. We design the circuit diagrams composed of linger injection sensors, switches, status indicators, wireless communication functionalities, and propose the controlling and monitoring algorithms for sensing the linger injection status and notifying the collected status informations to a server system. Furthermore, we derive the testing criteria, such as linger liquid sensing time, sensing distance, operating temperature, input power, power consumption, and wireless communication speed, and analyze the test results.

Recently, monitoring systems, such as POP, take a core role in scheduling or planning of manufacturing facilities for production, maintenance, and so on. Such monitoring systems require functionalities for real-time parameter monitoring and controlling to maximize efficiency of facilities. However, vendors usually do not provide internal communication protocols or interface to access the machine controller. Therefore, the values of parameters related to machine operations and controls cannot be easily accessed from external devices. In this paper, we propose an interface methodology for a real-time monitoring and controlling of injection molding machine parameters such as user input parameters, embedded sensor data and injection molding status information.

Intravenous (IV) injection is widely used to supply Ringer solution directly into a vein in hospital. Generally, a passive injection method has been used, which causes the inconsistent flow rate of fluid and inappropriate control of injection time by a patient. It leads to an unnecessary nurse's overwork and decrement of IV injection's effect. To solve these problems, flow control infusion pumps have been developed. But because of relatively heavy weight and high price, its usage has been limited. In the present study, a new automatic IV injection system is developed. It is installed with a small pressing mechanism driven by a small electric motor to regulate the flow rate by pressing tube. Proportional integral derivative (PID) feedback control algorithm is applied to control the electric motor. The system is smaller in size and uses lower power than the existing commercial product. The newly developed system is also installed with networking capability, which enables monitoring the status of several automatic IV injection system at the same time.

A prototype of combustion zone monitoring system as been developed and installed into tuyeres of the blast furnace. The system consists of CCD(charge coupled device) cameras, sonic flow meters, an image processor and a personal computer. The personal computer collects raceway luminance data and operational data from the image processor that is connected to the color CCD camera from the blast furnace process computer, respectively. In addition, the sonic flow meters supply coal injection rate data to the personal computer. Then, the personal computer evaluates the combustion conditions with the raceway inspection algorithm. This integrated monitoring system allows us to detect abnormal raceway conditions and the clogging status of coal injection pipe. The image processing techniques of the system enable us to effectively monitor unburnt coal sticking to tuyere tip and injection lance wear conditions. Such a developed system ensures rapid and precise raceway inspection. The image processing capability of the system has helped operator to early detect both the unburnt coal sticking problem and the errosion problem of injection lance. Furthermore, the system could control the abnormal raceway condition based the the analysis results obtained from combustion monitoring.

In the demonstration-scale offshore $CO_2$ storage project, the monitoring team studies geophysical and geochemical monitoring of $CO_2$ injections in the Yeongil Bay, in which a $CO_2$ test injection (about 100t) was performed in January, 2017 and further injections in larger scales are planned for 2018 and 2019. In this study, the development status of the Korea-type Hydro-Geophone OBS (Ocean Bottom Sensor) and the geochemical baseline survey (focused on some anions of sediment pore water) are suggested as the preliminary results of the pre-injection test.

Precision injection mold is an essential element in order to manufacture small and precision plastic lenses used for phone camera. There are many critical factors to meet the requested specifications of high quality plastic lenses. One of the main issues to realize high quality is minimizing decenter value, which becomes more critical as pixel numbers increases. This study suggests the method to minimize decenter value by modifying ejecting structure of the mold. Decenter value of injection-molded lens decreased to 1 ${\mu}m$ level from 5 ${\mu}m$ by applying suggested ejecting method. Also, we also developed BIS (Built-in Sensor) based smart mold system, which has pressure and temperature sensors inside of the mold. Pressure and temperature profiles from cavities are obtained and can be used for deduction of optimal injection molding condition, filling imbalance evaluation, status monitoring of injection molding and prediction of lens quality.
In this study, a new approach using electrical resistivity measurement was proposed to detect grout penetration and to evaluate the grouting performance for such as waterproof efficiency in single rock fracture. For this purpose, an electrical resistivity monitoring system was designed to collect multi-channel data in real time. This was applied to a system for grout injection/penetration using a transparent fracture replica with various aperture sizes and water-cement mix ratio. The electrical resistivity was measured under various grout penetration conditions in real time, which results were directly compared to the visual observation images of grout penetration/distribution. Moreover, the grouting success status after the curing process was evaluated by measuring the electrical resistivity in relation to changes in frequency in fracture cells where grout injection and penetration were completed. Consequently, it was determined that the electrical resistivity monitoring system could be applied effectively to the detection of successful penetration of grouting into a target area and to actual field evaluation of the grouting performance and long-term stability of underground rock structures.
Pluripotent stem cells could self-renew and differentiate into various cells. In particular, porcine pluripotent stem cells are useful for preclinical therapy, transgenic animals, and agricultural usage. These stem cells have naïve and primed pluripotent states. Naïve pluripotent stem cells represented by mouse embryonic stem cells form chimeras after blastocyst injection. Primed pluripotent stem cells represented by mouse epiblast stem cells and human embryonic stem cells. They could not produce chimeras after blastocyst injection. Populations of embryonic stem cells are not homogenous; therefore, reporter systems are used to clarify the status of stem cells and to isolate the cells. For this reason, studies of the OCT4 reporter system have been conducted for decades. This review will discuss the naïve and primed pluripotent states and recent progress in the development of porcine OCT4 reporter systems.

Background: The purpose of this study was to compare the availability of propofol and fentanyl (P + F) with diazepam and morphine (D + M) for intravenous conscious sedation during third molar surgery. Methods: Forty patients without systemic disease were operated under IV conscious sedation administered by either of the two techniques. Monitoring consisted of continuous observation of pulse rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and the respiratory rate and were recorded every 15 minutes. Cooperation score was measured 5 and 15 minutes after induction of IV sedation. Following the operation, the surgeon and patients completed questionnaires including pain visual analog scale, amnesia, and side effects. Results: The P + F group was significantly more cooperative than the D + M group. The side effects of D + M group included pain on injection, nausea/vomiting and abdominal pain. The side effects of P + F group included talkativeness, nausea/vomiting, temporary apnea, pain on injection and vertigo. Conclusions: In this study, there were following benefits in the P + F group; more cooperative status and less pain perception. But respiratory depression developed in some patients.
This work has performed to examine the operation status of regeneration and scrubber system of cold rolling mill plant and established the DIWS(Dip Injection Wet Scrubber) system for the removal of hydrochloric acid with micro bubble. When the initial 22.3 ppm of HCl gas was injected into the system, the average exhaust HCl gas was 0.59 ppm with the removal efficiency of 97.3%. Hydrochloric acid was effectively removed by DIWS system. In the long term monitoring for 10 hours by 5 minutes through TMS(Tele Monitoring System), the average exhaust HCl gas was stably kept 0.69 ppm, which was also verified by manual measurement.
