컴퓨터 비전 기반 UAV 영상의 도로표면 결함탐지 방안 (Detection Method for Road Pavement Defect of UAV Imagery Based on Computer Vision)

  • 아스팔트 도로표면의 균열은 자동차 속도, 연료 소비량, 도로주행 시 승차감, 도로표면의 내구성 등에 영향을 미친다. 이러한 도로의 균열은 장시간 방치 시 상당히 위험한 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 사람이 직접 균열을 찾아 내어 적절한 조치를 취하기에는 너무 많은 시간과 비용이 소모된다. 또한 고가의 레이저 장비 차량들을 활용하기에는 초기 비용과 장비 운용에 어려움을 가진다. 이에 본 연구에서는 UAV 영상을 이용해 컴퓨터 비전 기반의 관심영역(ROI: Region of Interest) 설정과 에지 검출 알고리즘을 적용하여 도로표면의 균열탐지 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과는 무인항공기를 활용한 효율적인 도로표면 결함탐지 및 유지보수 방안으로 제시될 수 있다. 또한 도로 이외 건물빌딩의 외벽, 대규모 저장 탱크 등 다양한 건축, 토목 구조물에 발생된 균열 탐지에 활용이 가능하며 비용저감 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

단순 이차성 심방 중격 결손의 자연 경과와 성장에 따른 결손의 크기 변화 (The Natural Course and Size Change of Atrial Septal Defect Secundum)

  • 목 적 : 소아에서 두 번째로 빈도가 높은 심방 중격 결손의 조기진단이 점차 증가하면서 그 자연 경과에 대한 재조명이 이루어지고 있으나 아직 미흡한 부분이 많으며 특히 결손의 크기 변화가 어떻게 되는지에 대해 보고가 많지 않은 현실이다. 이에 저자들은 소아에서 다른 선천성 심질환이 없는 순수한 이차성 심방 중격 결손 환아의 심초음파 추적 관찰을 통해 성장에 따른 결손크기의 변화에 대해 알아보고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방 법 : 1996년 1월부터 2000년 12월까지 5년간 연세 심장 혈관 병원 심장 소아과에서 새롭게 심방 중격 결손증으로 진단 받은 272명의 환아 중 다른 선천성 심질환이 있거나, 추적 관찰기간이 12개월 미만이었거나, 추적 관찰 도중 어떠한 이유든 수술이나 중재적 심도자술을 시행 받은 환아들을 제외한 89명을 대상으로 심초음파적 추적 관찰을 시행하였다. 심초음파적 크기는 늑골하 장, 단축면상에서 얻은 것으로 통일하였다. 진단 시 결손크기에 따라, 나이에 따라 각각 4개 군으로 나누어 각각의 군에서 결손의 자연 폐쇄 여부와 시간경과에 따른 결손의 크기변화(mm/월)를 알아보았다. 또한 폐쇄군과 비폐쇄군으로 나누어 각각의 군의 특징에 대해서 알아보았다. 결 과 : 대상 환아 89명 중 결손의 크기가 5 mm 미만인 군은 총 25명(28%), 이중 22명(88%)이 자연폐쇄 되었으며 평균 결손의 크기 변화는 -0.206(mm/월)이었다. 5-8 mm인 군은 총 22명(24.7%), 이중 10명(45.5%)이 자연 폐쇄되었으며 평균 결손의 크기변화는 -0.067이었다. 9-12 mm인 군은 총 26명(29.3%), 이중 3명(11.5%)이 자연 폐쇄되었으며 평균 결손의 크기변화는 +0.058이었다. 12 mm 초과인 군은 총 16명(18%), 이중 자연폐쇄는 없었으며 평균 결손의 크기변화는 +0.155이었다. 연령에 따른 분류에서 1, 2, 3, 5세를 기준으로 각각 기준 이하와 초과의 군으로 나누었을 때 3세까지는 자연 폐쇄와 결손의 크기변화가 통계학적으로 유의하게 차이가 있었으며(P<0.05) 5세가 되면 차이가 없어지는 것으로 조사되었다. 결손이 폐쇄된 군은 총 35명(39.3%), 폐쇄되지 않은 군은 54명(60.7%)으로 두 군 사이의 통계학적 차이는 진단 시 결손의 크기였다. 비폐쇄군의 절대적인 결손 크기변화는 +0.116(mm/월)으로서 통계학적으로 의미 있게 결손의 크기가 증가된 것으로 조사되었으나(P<0.005), 이를 체표면적으로 환산하였을 경우 통계학적 의미는 없었다. 결 론 : 소아의 단순 심방 중격 결손증에서 첫 진단 시 결손의 크기가 작을수록, 연령이 어릴수록 자연 폐쇄의 가능성이 높으며 자연 폐쇄되지 않는 경우 결손의 절대적 크기가 증가되나 체표면적으로 환산시 통계학적 의의는 없다. 결손의 자연 폐쇄는 평균 26.2개월에 이루어져 진단 후 약 2년 이상의 추적관찰이 필요하다.

순도를 달리한 알루미나 세라믹스의 마멸과정 및 이의 기구에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Wear Process and Wear Mechanism of the Alumina Ceramics with Different Alumina Purity)

  • The present study was undertaken to investigate the dry wear process and wear mechanism of the alumina ceramics in the purity variation which are used for the mechanical seal, roll, liner and dies. The wear test was carried out under different experimental condition using the wear testing device and in which the annular surface rubbed on dry sliding condition various sliding speed, contact pressure and sliding distance. In case of alumina purity 95%, there was speed range which wear loss increased rapidly owing to enlargement of heat impact force and temperature rise of wear surface. According as the alumina purity increased, wear loss decreased but alumina purity 85% with much void and defect had the most wear loss than any other alumina purity. The friction coefficient of sliding initial stage of wear curves has a large value but according to increase of sliding distance, it decreased owing to drop of the shear strength of wear surfaces.

Effect of out-of-plane defects on the postbuckling behavior of graphene sheets based on nonlocal elasticity theory

  • In this paper, the effects of inevitable out-of-plane defects on the postbuckling behavior of single-layered graphene sheets (SLGSs) under in-plane loadings are investigated based on nonlocal first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and von-Karman nonlinear model. A generic imperfection function, which takes the form of the products of hyperbolic and trigonometric functions, is employed to model out-of-plane defects as initial geometrical imperfections of SLGSs. Nonlinear equilibrium equations are derived from the principle of virtual work and variational formulation. The postbuckling equilibrium paths of imperfect graphene sheets (GSs) are presented by solving the governing equations via isogeometric analysis (IGA) and Newton-Raphson iterative method. Finally, the sensitivity of the postbuckling behavior of GS to shape, amplitude, extension on the surface, and location of initial imperfection is studied. Results showed that the small scale and initial imperfection effects on the postbuckling behavior of defective SLGS are important and cannot be ignored.

코너 특정점 기반의 영상분석을 활용한 진공단열재 결함 검출 (Defect detection of vacuum insulation panel using image analysis based on corner feature detection)

  • Vacuum Insulation Panel (VIP) is an high energy efficient insulation system that facilitate slim but high insulation performance, based on based on a porous core material evacuated and encapsulated in a multi-barrier envelope. Although VIP has been on the market for decades now, it wasn't until recently that efforts have been initiated to propose a standard on aging testing. One of the issues regarding VIP is its durability and aging due to pressure and moisture dependent increase of the initial low thermal conductivity with time. It is hard to visually determine at an early stage. Recently, a method of analyzing the damage on the a material surface by applying image processing technology has been widely used. These techniques provide fast and accurate data with a non-destructive way. In this study, the surface VIP images were analyzed using the Harris corner detection algorithm. As a result, 171,333 corner points in the normal packaging were detected, whereas 32,895 of the defective packaging, which were less than the normal packaging. were detected. These results are considered to provide meaningful information for the determination of VIP condition.

내플라즈마성 세라믹의 표면연마를 통한 플라즈마 열화방지 (Preventing Plasma Degradation of Plasma Resistant Ceramics via Surface Polishing)

  • Plasma-resistant ceramic (PRC) is a material used to prevent internal damage in plasma processing equipment for semiconductors and displays. The challenge is to suppress particles falling off from damaged surfaces and increase retention time in order to improve productivity and introduce the latest miniaturization process. Here, we confirmed the effect of suppressing plasma deterioration and reducing the etch rate through surface treatment of existing PRC with an initial illumination level of 200 nm. In particular, quartz glass showed a decrease in etch rate of up to 10%. Furthermore, it is believed that micro-scale secondary particles formed on the microstructure of each material grow as crystals during the fluoridation process. This is a factor that can act as a killer defect when dropped, and is an essential consideration when analyzing plasma resistance. The plasma etching suppression effect of the initial illumination is thought to be due to partial over etching at the dihedral angle of the material due to the sputtering of re-emission of Ar+-based cations. This means that plasma damage due to densification can also be interpreted in existing PRC studies. The research results are significant in that they present surface treatment conditions that can be directly applied to existing PRC for mass production and a new perspective to analyze plasma resistance in addition to simple etching rates.

하수오니에 왕겨 및 톱밥을 혼합한 호기성 퇴비화 (Aerobic Composting of sewage sludge Mixed Rice Hulls and Sawdusts)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effects of moisture content, temperature, C/N ratio and pH of the sewage sludge mixed with hulle and sawdusts for making compost under aerobic condition and to improve the defect of the structure of experimental equipment heat lose and handling method. and obtained results were as follows 1.The temperature was reached 73$^{\circ}$ C around 50 hours fermentation in the condition of 0.8 L/min. of air and 60.4% of moisture content. and favorable moisture content of initial condition ranged from 50 to 65% 2.The temperature near bottom of the batch composter was decreased due to evaporate water vapor and lose the heat produced during aeration. and it is required to be improved. 3.The temperature in the batch composter from the center to the inside wall surface was gradually decreased. the temperatures of the points located in r=9cm and the wall surface were 4$^{\circ}$ C and 6$^{\circ}$ C respectively. and therefore it is required to be insulated. 4. The maximum C02 production was obtained as 7.3% per volume in the temperature of 63$^{\circ}$C at the moisture content of 60% 5.The temperature range of active microbes growth was found to be as 20$^{\circ}$C to 40$^{\circ}$C in the case of mesophiles and 50$^{\circ}$C to 65$^{\circ}$C in the case of thermophiles due to increase and decrease C02 production. 6.C/N ratio after decomposition was 1.3 to 2.6 smaller than that of initial one due to increase the amount of nitrogen. The more C/N ratio increased. the less the reaction velocity decresed. The optimum of it as found to be 30. 7.pH values after decomposition were slightly increased than that of initial ones. The reaction velocity was decreased at acid and alkall condition. Therefore it is neseseary to neutralize the medium to improve the reaction.

건축물 외관의 오염방지를 위한 계획적 방안 연구 - 서울시 구청을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Planning Methods for Pollution Prevention of Building Exterior - Focused On the Public Borough Offices in Seoul -)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose the planning methods for pollution prevention in the initial design stage by identifying the pollution phenomena on the exterior of the building. It is important to catch the problem early on because exterior troubles begin with an initial design defect and causes rapid aging. The scope of this study is seoul public borough offices that should be sustainable for long as landmark located at the center of the district. Field survey was conducted three times in six months. Twenty-six borough offices were diagnosed with three levels of contamination through visual inspection and the contaminated locations, types, materials, and characteristics were checked. Fourteen common contaminated locations were identified in the first and intensively rechecked in the second. Five locations vulnerable to contamination were designated and the contamination and cleanliness situations were checked by location in the third. As a result, main polluted types and locations are sloping wall, upper wall, protruded wall, canopy, and wall under window. The key to avoiding these pollution problems is to minimize the horizontal plane on which dust can be deposited. In other words, it can be considered variously by shape and location, such as the slope of the horizontal plane, the floating of the surface, the installation of the roof surface, and the vertical louvers. And throating plans and material plans suitable for each location are presented. Various methods of the shape and location, material are expected to use as useful basic data for preventing pollutions during the initial design stage.

A Numerical Design and Feasibility Study of Self-Wastage Experiment Using Simulant Material in a Sodium Fast Reactor

  • A sodiume-water reaction takes place when high-pressured water vapor leaks into sodium through a tiny defect on the surface of the heat transfer tube in a steam generator of the sodium-cooled fast reactor. The sodiume-water reaction brings deterioration of the mechanical strength of the heat transfer tube at the initial leakage site. As a result, it damages the crack itself, which may eventually enlarge into a larger opening. This self-enlargement is called "self-wastage phenomenon." In this study, a simulant experiment was proposed to reproduce the self-enlargement of a crack and to evaluate the mechanism of the self-wastage. The damage on the surface of the crack was simulated by making the neutralization reaction with hydrochloric acid solution and sodium hydroxide solution. A numerical investigation was carried out to validate the feasibility of the approach and to determine experimental conditions. From the computation results, it is observed that when 5M HCl is injected into 5M of NaOH with 0.05 m/s inlet velocity, the temperature at the surface near the crack increased over 319.26 K. The computational results show that the self-wastage phenomenon is capable of being reproduced by the simulant experiment.

전착법에서 용액특성이 지르코니아 막형성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Slurry Property on Preparation of Zirconia Film in Electrophoretic Deposition)

  • Effect of solution property on the weight varation and microstructural change of film was studied by electrophoretic deposition in order to obtain a homogeneous and dense zirconia film. As a result of weight kinetics of film which obtained in alcohol or aqueous solution having different polarity experimental data showed large deviation from theoretical ones calculated by Zhang's kinetic model. It had been shown that the weight affecting factors was largely dependent on properties other than dielectric constant and viscosity of solvent zeta potential appiled field and time. In initial stage a main factor of the drastic weight increase was the capillary drag of porous substrate. The cause of weight decrease with time in aqueous solution after 300 s was attributed to the defect of film by sagging and electrolytic reaction. The electrolyte film which prepared in alcohol solution with good wetting for substrate had better homogeneous and dense microstructure than one in aqueous solution with high surface tension.
