디지탈 컨텐츠 배포를 위한 보안 체계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Security Architecture for Digital Content Dissemination)

  • 인터넷 인프라의 보급과 이용인구의 급속한 증가는 off-line을 통해서 물리적으로 제공받아 이용하던 다양한 정보와 자료, 그리고 디지탈 컨텐츠를 인터넷을 통해서 쉽고 빠르게 이용할 수 있는 서비스의 기반이 되고 있다. 그러나 인터넷 서비스를 통해서 제공되는 다양한 컨텐츠의 저작권 보호와 불법 복제 등과 같은 문제는 해당 사업의 발전을 저해하는 위험요소가 되고 있다. 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 컨텐츠를 이용할 수 있는 정당한 자격을 소유한 사용자만이 해당 컨텐츠를 정상적으로 이용할 수 있도록 하는 접근제어(Access Control, AC) 기술이 연구되고 있다. 위성 방송에서 사용되고 있는 제한수신 시스템(Conditional Access System, CAS)과 인터넷 컨텐츠 서비스에 사용되고 있는 디지탈 저작권 관리 시스템(Distal Right Management System DRMS)은 현재 상용화되어 있는 AC의 대표적인 모델이라 할 수 있다. CAS와 DRMS는 지불 구조에 기반을 둔 형태(Payment Based Type, PBT)의 AC 기술이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 [5]에서 제시된 지불 구조에 독립적인 형태(Payment Free Type, PFT)의 AC를 위한 보안 체계를 살펴보고, 각각의 특징을 간략하게 정리한다. 또한 효과적인 운영을 위한 PRT 기반의 새로운 AC 구조를 제시한다.

경제적 자유가 외국인직접투자 촉진에 미치는 영향: 경제발전단계별 직접효과와 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effect of Economic Freedom on the Facilitation of FDI Inflows: Focus on the Direct and Moderating Effect by the Stage of Economic Development)

  • Purpose - This study is to investigate the direct and moderating effect of intangible variable like economic freedom to facilitating factors on FDI(foreign direct investment) inflows and the difference of facilitating factors by the stage of economic development. Design/methodology/approach - Fixed-effect panel regression analysis with 19-year macro economic data from 2000 to 2019 including economic freedom index from Fraser Institute in 13 developed and 15 developing countries was used. Research implications or Originality - In analysis of direct effect of 5 sectors in economic freedom, the influence of economic freedom was shown weaker than other macro economic factors on FDI inflows, which indicates that actual development of economic factors are more important. The effect of economic freedom on FDI inflows at the stage of economic development differed. In developed countries, human capital, GDP, export, free trade and regulation affected FDI inflows in decreasing order, as did human capital, GDP, consumption expenditure, export, investment expenditure, government expenditure, free trade and sound money in developing countries. In analysis of moderating effect of economic freedom, a domestic and international market size, a flexible labor market which can provide a cheaper good human resources and government expenditures for improving social infrastructure under free economic environment facilitated FDI inflows. However, the statistical significance of moderating effect on export was not shown, which indicates that economic freedom policy itself without actual improvement of exports could not attract FDI inflows.

인프라 독립형 가변안내표지판의 효율적 전력 운영 방안 연구 (A Study of Effective Power Management for Infrafree Variable Message Sign)

  • 지능형교통정보시스템(ITS) 정책의 일환으로 가변안내표지판의 보급이 확대되었음에도 불구하고 여러 가지 문제점들이 나타나게 되었으며 그 중 하나가 지역별 교통 정보 제공의 불평등 및 비효율성 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 전력선 및 통신선 구축이 어려운 인프라 취약 지역에서도 도로상황 및 기상상태 등의 교통정보 제공을 위해 인프라 독립형 가변안내표지판을 제안하였다. 인프라 독립형 가변안내표지판은 인프라 취약지역에서 운영되므로 그 특성상 시스템 구성, 운영방안 등에서 일반형 가변안내표지판과는 차별성을 가지므로 그 특성을 분석하여 나타내었다. 또한 태양광 발전으로 획득된 한정된 전력을 효율적으로 운영하기 위하여 이를 고려한 배터리 체결구조와 가변안내표지판의 표출 메시지에 따른 전력 운용 방안을 제안하였다. 향후 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 인프라 독립형 가변안내표지판뿐만 아니라 병렬 구조의 배터리가 사용되는 다양한 용도의 어플리케이션의 전력 제어에 적용 가능할 것으로 예상된다.

  • The studies on railway vehicles equipped with various energy storage system is proceeded actively. These have a lot of advantages like the maximizing reuse of the regeneration energy, the decrease of peak power in catenary and the reduction of infrastructure costs through catenary-free travelling. This paper is focused on the development of the TPS (Train Performance Simulation) program for railway vehicles equipped with energy storage system. The battery and ultra-capacitor system are modeled using Matlab/Simulink among several energy storage systems. And the feasibility of simulation model is evaluated with the basic power distribution algorithm.

  • This paper proposes the fuel cell power plants as alternative energy sources for distributed generation in Jeju Island, Korea. This will help to increase the fuel efficiency, at least double the current thermal power plants, decrease environmental pollution, virtually to none, increase the reliability of power supply, reducing the dependency of the HVDC link, and provide quality power to the growing infrastructure in meeting the requirements for the free-trade international island.

  • The explosive growth of the Internet brought serious problems to the Internet routing infrastructure. Especially scaling problems is recognized more seriously. The ever increasing user population, as well as multiple other factors including multi-homing, traffic engineering, and policy routing, have been driving the growth of Default Free Zone (DFZ) routing table size at an alarming rate. While it has been long recognized that the existing routing architecture may have serious scalability problems, effective solutions have yet to be identified, developed, and deployed. Recently, several attempts for finding the concrete problems are made. Especially the report of the routing and addressing workshop which the IAB (Internet Architecture Board) held on 2006 is described the problems of the current internet in detail. This document describes those problems and introduces the related activity to solve the problems.

  • There are two kinds of network architectures in the IEEE 802.11:[1] distributed (ad-hoc) or centralized (infrastructure) wireless network. Centralized networks have an access point (base station) that can control the wireless medium access of stations in these networks. The 802.11 MAC protocol of an access point is the same as those of other stations in the contention period. This paper propose a novel MAC protocol of an access point to solve these problems. This MAC protocol adds a new contention-free period called EPCF (Extended PCF) to resolve accumulated data in the queue of an access point. Simulation results show that the new protocol performs better throughput than the 802.11 standard MAC with the less queue memory site requirement.

위성망에서 ATM 셀 전송에 관한 연구 (A Study on the ATM Cell Transmission in the Satellite Network)

  • It is desirable that the implementation of next generation information infrastructure is the Integrated Network combining the satellite and the terrestrial network. The application of the ATM network being the dominant infrastrure of terrestrial network to the satellite network is being studied variously. Considering these concepts, this paper analyzes due to ATM transport via satellite, evaluates the degradation of QoS and proposes reliable method of ATM cell transport via satellite. Because ATM is investigated with the optical fiber which is almost error free characteristics, the practical application of ATM transport via satellite essentially need the channel coding(FEC:Forward Error Correction) to enhance BER performance. But using the FEC coding, satellite link has burst error characteristics which evoke severe performance degradation fo ATM QoS. Therefore in satellite link, we analyze burst error characteristics using experimental results of computer simulation. Then to compensate these characteristics, based on this analysis and HEC dual mode algorithm we propose various interleaver structures(Block interleaver, Intra interlever, and Inter-Intra interleaver) to improve cell transmission QoS. We execute performance evaluations of iterleaver structures by computer simulation.

  • 급격한 원유가격 상승과 환경 친화적 차량에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 전기자동차에 대한 연구개발이 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 특히 근거리 전기자동차(NEV)는 양산 가능성이 매우 높은 무공해 차량으로 관련 기술에 대한 개발이 시급히 요구되는 시점이다. 본 논문에서 연구하고자 하는 중대형 2차전지 On-Board 충전기는 우주항공 및 일반 산업 분야에서도 충분히 응용가능한 요소 기술이고, Off-Board 스탠드형 충전기는 향후 활성화될 충전 인프라 구축 사업에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

Crack detection in concrete slabs by graph-based anomalies calculation

  • Concrete slab cracks monitoring of modern high-speed railway is important for safety and reliability of train operation, to prevent catastrophic failure, and to reduce maintenance costs. This paper proposes a curvature filtering improved crack detection method in concrete slabs of high-speed railway via graph-based anomalies calculation. Firstly, large curvature information contained in the images is extracted for the crack identification based on an improved curvature filtering method. Secondly, a graph-based model is developed for the image sub-blocks anomalies calculation where the baseline of the sub-blocks is acquired by crack-free samples. Once the anomaly is large than the acquired baseline, the sub-block is considered as crack-contained block. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method performs better than convolutional neural network method even under different curvature structures and illumination conditions. This work therefore provides a useful tool for concrete slabs crack detection and is broadly applicable to variety of infrastructure systems.
