  • The NGIS(National Geographic Information System) project is in its third phase currently. To put the produced data to practical use, central and local governments are trying to implement spatial data warehouse(SDW). In this study, status of local and international SDW(Spatial Data Warehouse) technology were investigated. It has been observed that in Korea it was necessary to shift the focus from management of spatial data to servicing of spatial data to information end users. To that end, the following tasks should be pursued : 1) standardization, 2) automatic ways of linking various legacy administrative information, 3) development of customized middleware for spatial data integration and 4) legal system infra structure.

  • 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 발전으로 지금까지의 In-House 또는 COTS(Commercial Off The Shelf) 방식으로 구축되는 기존의 정보 시스템 구축 방법에 많은 변화가 일어나고 있다. 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 SaaS(SW as a Service), PaaS(Platform as a Service), IaaS(Infra as a Service)를 쉽게 제공하는 플랫폼으로써 많은 사용자가 동시에 접근하는 정보 시스템에서 고 가용성, 성능 만족을 위한 기본 틀을 제공한다. 본 연구는 최신 클라우드 플랫폼 조사를 통해 위성 영상 통합 시스템에 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술 적용 가능성을 살펴보고 SaaS 기반 위성 영상 통합 시스템 개념 구조를 제시한다.

  • In this paper, us describe about the performance metrics and optimal implementation of Ad hoc network that is constructed easily by mobile terminals without infra-structure and is used in emergency sites and army field. And the results are used in study on DQM based ad hoc routing protocol.

  • The demand of blasting work in civil engineering work is increasing because of the increasing social infra-structural construction work. The blasting method creates large benefit in regard to the economic aspect and shortening construction period. This method, however, has problems to be solved in respect to the blasting vibration and noise. Blasting vibration and noise have been studied by many workers, regarding to the impact on the structure and human body. This investigation is concerned on the affect of blasting vibration and noise on the animals which is relatively new. In general, animals have inferior mental capacity than human in hearing but have higher sensitivity on the vibration and noise due to blasting. The object of this study is to investigate an appropriate measurement of lessening damage on the animals by vibration and noise due to blasting.

  • 2010년 미국 GM에서 개발한 쉐보레 볼트는 그 이전에 개발된 일본 도요타의 프리우스에 이어 선풍적 관심을 모으고 있다. 한국에서 개발 시험 출시한 Blue-one 전기자동차는 제주 실증 단지에서 그 성능이 시험되고 있다. 전력연구원에서 는 "그리드 연계형 전기차 충전인프라 개발" 과제를 통해, 충전 전력 요금을 현행 계시별 공급원가 수준에 기초하되, 전기차 고유의 충전부하 특성을 고려하여 경부하 시간대에 사용을 유도하는 방향으로 전기차 충전 전용 요금을 설계하였다. 이 전기차 충전인프라 전용요금을 사용하여, 전기차의 충전인프라 운영을 시뮬레이션 하였다. 본 논문에서는 전기차 충전인프라 개발 목적, 충전인프라 개발 방법, 충전인프라 개발 결과를 기술하였으며, 향후 연구방향 및 충전인프라 구축 방향에 대해 고찰해 보았다.

  • For designing the radar integrated data network, we construct the network structure with a spatial hieratchy decomposition scheme. The RIDN can be decomposed into several subent classes, those of which are composed of the several group classes of radar sites, In a group class. The communication nodes of a radar site are modeled by the software modules formulated with the statistical attributes of discrete events. And we get the analysis over the network through the separately constructed infra group level models which were coded with the C language.From the result of the simulation. We could findthe fact that the data integration system;s performance approaches to the theordtically calculated value after being stable. And also we could get the packet processing status of a communication module’s inner processor which is difficult to oberve through the mathematical calculation tin the subnet model of the integrated data network.

  • To survive in rapidly changing business environment, the enterprises of all over the world are trying to integrate their IT infra structure and are trying to automate their business process. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is being accepted as an IT standard to support efficient system integration and flexible business process automation between enterprises or departments. The material control system is required this software architecture between manufacturing company and materials supply vendors. This paper introduces concept of SOA, relevant technology about SOA such as Web Services and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and describes how to automate materials control process by designing the material control system based on SOA. The analysis of requirements is proceeded by Unified Modeling Language (UML) and SOA delivery strategy is selected the top-down strategy. And this paper describes how to derive services and operations and how to arrange services in three service layers and how to design business process.

  • There are ground facility of maintenance in house electric facility of infra maintenance electric home appliances having used multifariousness in house, that use electric energy of common source for equipment. The body of building such as the reinforced concrete construction is structurally united, and the electric resistance is also small. It is possible that those foundations have contacted the ground at large surface area and that it substitutes the building construction body for the earth electrode. This is called "the structure earthing". This method has been defined at electrical facilities technical standards and KS in our country, and it has been used in various quarters practically. However, in our country, there is no example of using the foundation of the house as substitution earth electrode practically, and the means of the evaluation as electrode has not been established either. Then, in this paper, basic research for utilizing foundation of the house as substitution earth electrode is carried out.

  • To develop in the long view, based on context of city, the spatial program change to new spatial program that can be adopt city architectural environment. The new spatial program must have paring lot, open space, community center, which are infra structure for citizen. The needs about flexible space Increase according to complexity of spatial program. The space of absolutism, is made up hierarchy, can't accommodate complexity of spatial program. Therefore, modern architectural spaces are characterized by non-hierarchy. This research is tendency to search special quality of space program that is going complex composition according to change of modern society and modern architecture space, and analyze characteristic of inner space that have non-hierarchy to correspond hereupon.

Comparative study on modal identification methods using output-only information

  • In this paper, several modal identification techniques for output-only structural systems are extensively investigated. The methods considered are the power spectral method, the frequency domain decomposition method, the Ibrahim time domain method, the eigensystem realization algorithm, and the stochastic subspace identification method. Generally, the power spectral method is most widely used in practical area, however, the other methods may give better estimates particularly for the cases with closed modes and/or with large measurement noise. Example analyses were carried out on typical structural systems under three different loading cases, and the identification performances were examined throught the comparisons between the estimates by various methods.
