Recently, it is very important to establish and predict a traffic policy for expanding social infra structure like road, because the number of cars is significantly increasing. In this paper, we propose and develop an automated system technology based on vision sensor (CCTV) which can provide an efficient information for the traffic policy establishment and expanding the social infra structure. First, the CCTV image is captured as an input of the developed system. With this image, we propose a scheme for extracting vehicles on the road and classifying small-type, large-type vehicles based on color, motion, and geometric features. Also, we develop a DB (database) system for supplying a whole information of traffic for a specified period. Based on the proposed system, we verify 90.1% of recognition ratio in real-time traffic monitering environment.

With the advent of FinTech, many financial services have become available in the mobile Internet environment and recently, there is an internet bank that provides all bank services online. As the proportion of financial services over the Internet increases, it offers convenience to users, but at the same time, the threat of financial network is increasing. Financial institutions are investing heavily in security systems in case of an intrusion. However attacks by hackers are getting more sophisticated and difficult to cope with. However, applying an IP Trace-back method that can detect the actual location of an attacker to a financial network can prepare for an attacker's arrest and additional attacks. In this paper, we investigate IP Trace-back technology that can detect the actual location of attacker and analyze it to apply it to financial network. And we propose a new IP Trace-back method through Infra-structure construction through simulation experiments.

Based on easy construction and operation compared with infra-structure communication netowrks, and rapid spreading of smart phone having high powered calculation ability and Wi/Fi function, usage of MANET(Mobile Ad-Hoc Network), which is configured with simply several terminals, is increased in applications of emergency communications, leisure, explorations. However, because of supporting difficulty of communication infra-structure makes some defects of malicious information intrusion like as hacking. In this paper, effects of transmission performance caused by information intrusion is analyzed. The results of published studies is based on environment of continuous intrusions, but this paper assumed intermittent attacking condition. In this paper, blackhole attack is used for intrusion type to MANET, voice traffic is used as a application traffic. Compuer simulation, based on NS-2, is used for measuring of performance parameters, and the analysis for the simulation results is shown as considerations of this paper.

This study explores the effect of the properties of digital infra on customer participation to explain how customers' initiatives impact the marketing process in the digital environment. Also the effect of the accumulated information through customers' information sharing on their initiatives in the marketing activities can be discovered. These effects can be better understood by developing comprehensive model and employing large sample empirical test. Study1 identifies the properties of digital infra which overcomes the limitations of off-line environment in customers' participation - Information openness, connectedness, community interaction and structure clarity - and how these properties activate customers' participation in the marketing process. Study2 shows the process structure of reverse marketing activities in the digital environment. These findings deliver the fact that customers' initiatives in the marketing activities will be accepted generally under the digital environment. Consequently, this study suggests some managerial implications for completely different marketing strategies in response to customers' initiatives in the marketing activities under the digital environment.

The asset management of railway facilities is a total framework for finally supporting a safe and comfortable train service, which includes functions of supporting evaluation of condition and performance of infrastructures, making the decision method of repair or rehabilitation of deteriorated facilities, and lengthening the life cycle of structure through the decision of adequate cost and time of repair or reinforcement. In the range of the asset management, organization, human, the target, and information & data of company are included. Therefore, in this paper, appling the method of asset management analysis to the railway structures, the process of the risk assesment using BRE(Business Risk Exposure) and the basis of consisting optimized renewal decision-making are expressed.

This paper proposed a new substructural identification method to estimate the bending stiffness of a bridge deck, a fundamental structural health index of a super-structure. The proposed method can estimate the bending stiffness without considering actual supporting conditions by using substructural identification method while most of conventional methods need reasonable assumptions on supporting conditions which are hard to be assessed in a real bridge in operation. The mathematical formulation is derived and the results of laboratory tests are summarized. It was verified that the proposed method gives consistent estimation results regardless of actual supporting conditions.

This paper reports on the development of high aspect ratio structure and 3-D integrated process for MEMS-based micro gas turbines. To manufacture high aspect ratio structures, Deep Reactive Ion Etching (DRIE) process have been developed and optimized. Specially, in this study, structures with aspect ratios greater than 10 were fabricated. Also, wafer direct bonding and Infra-Red (IR) camera bonding inspection systems have been developed. Moreover, using glass/silicon wafer direct bonding, we optimized the 3-D integrated process.

Traditional Antheraea pernyi silkworm cocoon is tawny color. The white Antheraea pernyi silkworm cocoons studied here by IR and UV are new breeds of recent breeding. We discovered that the main body of the first grade structure of silk protein in the new white is as same as the one in the traditional tawny Antheraea pernyi silkworm cocoon, yet there are small quantities of cross-linked polymer of gentisic acid and silk protein in the white silkworm cocoons. In spite of the least surviving quantity of the polymer, the white silkworm cocoons are most white and its white color is similar to white Bombyx mori silkworm cocoon.

Most of the soundproof tunnels generate significant discharge noise through their inlets and outlets so that the length of the tunnel has been extended frequently than required to minimize the effect on such discharge noise. Thus, in this paper, we investigate reduction capability of discharge noise from the sound proof tunnel installed with lateral sound-absorbing panels on the partitioned truss members in the longitudinal direction of the tunnel. In conclusion, noise field analysis results shows that the sound proof tunnels with lateral sound-absorbing panels have an effect on discharge noise abatement and thereby tunnel's length reduction.

Korea has accomplished remarkable economic growth based on the accumulating technological capability. Science and Technology policy aiming at quantitative growth has concentrated on S&T hardware infra-structure construction but it overemphasizes technological factors. This policy has not sufficiently reflected social and cultural elements that should be incorporated in S&T development process. Therefore many experts have been emphasizing the importance of science culture as an important ingredient of S&T policy. This paper aims at investigating how science culture could be diffused. Nowadays, many countries have a strong interest in science shop as an important instrument of science culture. Science shop, however, has been activated in European area so it is not familar to Korea. However there are already a few science shops in Korea. In this paper, we will investigate the Korea science shops. In particular, we will analyze the current status, organizational structure and problems of Korea science shops. we will draw some important policy implications to activate science shops and to strengthen S&T policies in Korea.
