We report observations of light bridge (LB) jets taken with the New Solar Telescope. Jets as dark, fine threads occurred lined along both edges of a LB of a sunspot, which is a bright and elongated structure that divides a sunspot's umbra into two or more parts. This LB jets are observed for about three hours with $H{\alpha}$ filtergraph at ${\pm}0.4{\AA}$, ${\pm}0.8{\AA}$ from the line center, TiO filtergraph, and near infra-red imaging spectropolarimeter (NIRIS). High resolution $H{\alpha}$ data revealed that subsequent ejection of LB jets were associated with subsequent brightening along the edge of the LB. Also, this subsequent brightening was spatially correlated with both photospheric flow and magnetic field change detected from the TiO and NIRIS data, respectively. Preliminary results of LB jet observation and discussions on its formation mechanism will be presented.

Data dictionary is a collection of meta-data, which describes data produced and consumed while performing business processes. Data dictionary is an essential element for business process standardization and automation, and has a fundamental role in ERP application management and customization. Also, data dictionary facilitates B2B processes by enabling painless integration of business processes between various enterprises. We implemented data dictionary support in SEA＋, a component- based scalable ERP system developed in ETRI, and found out that it's a plausible feature of business information system. We discovered that data dictionary promotes semantic, not syntactic, data management, which can make it possible to leverage viability of the tool in the coming age of more meta-data oriented computing world. We envision that business data dictionary is a firm foundation of adapting business knowledge, applications and processes into the semantic web based enterprise infra-structure.

Six Sigma has been disseminated into a variety of areas. It is believed that a stepwise understanding of Six Sigma's DMAIC is required for successes of unit projects. Meanwhile, infra-structure factors, such as leadership, organization, personnel management, educational system, etc., are also important to safely implant the Six Sigma into the whole enterprise and to thoroughly create the culture of innovation and enterprise. Careful analysis of those elements makes it possible to draw common connection between Project Management and the Six Sigma. This study drives the success elements for the successful adoption of the Six Sigma in the Korea Western Power Co., Ltd., of which management was evaluated as one of the tops based on the results of 2007 Management Innovation Assessment and arranges the similarity of like this factor and Enterprise Project Management. The results of this study are expected to provide a useful guideline for the adoption of the Six Sigma in whole company level.

Structural changes of cellulosic fibres during the papermaking process were studied by analysis of FTIR spectra collected by the transmission method. The spectra were obtained from a carefully prepared handsheet, using a special infra-red (IR) cell suitable for evacuating the sample. The deconvolution technique was also applied for sharpening the FTIR spectra in the frequency range of the OH and CH stretching bands, which gave detailed information on the structural changes of cellulose. The intensity of some bands was decreased by predrying the sample as a result of the removal of adsorbed moisture. An increase in intensity of some bands in the frequency range of 3700 to $3200cm^{-1}$ was shown at a higher beating level. This increase in intensity was caused by changes in the crystal domain of cellulose resulting from the exposure of the crystalline area on the fibre surface.

Recently far infra-red (FIR) polarization of the $850{\mu}m$ continuum emission from T Tauri disks has been detected. The observed degree of polarization is around 3 %. Since thermal emission from dust grains dominates the spectral energy distribution at the FIR regime, dust grains might be the cause of the polarization. We explore alignment of dust grains by radiative torque in T Tauri disks and provide predictions for polarized emission for disks viewed at different wavelengths and viewing angles. In the presence of magnetic field, these aligned grains produce polarized emission in infrared wavelengths. When we take a Mathis-Rumpl-Nordsieck-type distribution with maximum grain size of $500-1000{\mu}m$, the degree of polarization is around 2-3 % level at wavelengths larger than ${\sim}100{\mu}m$. Our study indicates that multifrequency infrared polarimetric studies of protostellar disks can provide good insights into the details of their magnetic structure.

We present wide-field near-IR imaging polarimetry of 30 Doradus, using the InfraRed Survey Facility(IRSF) 1.4 m telescope at the South African Astronomical Observatory. We obtained polarimetry data in J, H, and Ks bands using the JHKs-simultaneous imaging polarimeter SIRPOL. 30 Doradus is located in the Large Magellanic Cloud(LMC) and it is the most active starburst region known in the Local group of galaxies. 30 Doradus is one of the best field to examine the behavior of the interstellar medium and star-formation mechanism under different conditions. We will investigate the structure of magnetic field in 30 Doradus region.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to suggest new directions for public health programs in rural and remote areas. Method: For this purpose, a literature review was done including articles, research reports, and master theses and doctoral dissertations. Results: Public health programs in rural remote areas were found to be very insufficient in terms of professional personnel and program diversity. Especially, there is a lack of adequate manpower and infra-structure in the public health sub-centers at the township and sub county level. Although community health practitioners at the village level are providing public health service beyond medical care, their coverage rate is very low. Conclusion: The results suggest a need to strengthen the function of public health sub-centers to provide comprehensive public health service based on the life-cycle approach. For this new change, legal and political support must be developed.

Various problems on logistics systems have been dealt with recently as research issues since they were regarded critical for taking up a better position in the increasingly competitive global market. In particular, the freight transportation is considered as a key factor which affects the economic competitiveness of a whole nation as well as the production cost of individual companies. The objective of this study is to identify main issues and review recent foreign and domestic studies related to the freight transportation. The studies are classified into two categories according to the hierarchical level in the decision making process: infra structure design and transportation strategies, service design and operation. Main issues are introduced with a brief review on the related literature and methodologies applied.

디지털 도서관은 정보하부구조에 있어서 가장 으뜸가는 요소로 부각되고 있다. 일반적으로 미국대학도서관의 디지털 도서관 추진형태는 정보기술 하부구조 구축, 본문 데이터베이스 구축, 프로젝트 중심의 설계로 집약된다. 본 고에서는 미국의 미시건대학교, 카네기멜론대학교, 버지니아공과대학교 도서관을 중심으로 디지털도서관 구축실태와 현황을 고찰하였다.

공간에 대한 정보는 시간과 함께 사람이 생활을 하는데 있어 반드시 알아야 하는 가장 근본적인 정보이며, 공간정보는 우리가 일상생활이나 특정한 상황에 처해 있을 때 행동이나 태도를 결정하는 중요한 기초정보와 기준을 제시한다. 미래의 공간정보사회에서는 지능 사물이 공간정보를 이용하고 인간은 간접적으로 활용하는 서비스로 진화한다. 미래의 공간정보는 상황정보, 실시간성, 다양성(풍부성), 정밀성을 바탕으로 빅데이터와 클라우드 기술이 융합되어 사용자 중심의 맞춤형 서비스가 제공될 것이다.
