This research proposes a method to provide visually impaired persons with better medical services and to mitigate their difficulties in taking medicines in their daily lives. Normally, pharmaceutical information are distributed in a form of printed materials, but it is not accessible by those who are visually impaired. Since persons who are visually impaired by accidents or diseases are required to take more types of medicines compared to other handicapped persons, and thus it is an important matter to let them have appropriate medicines at the right time. Although there are several web sites which are run by the Ministry of Health and Welfare providing pharmaceutic information, the information on those web sites are duplicated and some of the menus are similar, and thus giving users difficulties and discomfort in finding appropriate pharmaceutical information. Since ontology can define and describe the resource in an information system more clearly, in this research, an ontology consists of pharmaceutical information and knowledge on medicines is constructed to give patients more precise information more efficiently. Also, a service in which users can have voice guidance on pharmaceutical information retrieve from the ontology-based information system by contacting RFID sticker on the medicine to the reader.

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the quality of non-financial information disclosure by companies listed on the Vietnamese stock exchange. In 2019, 140 annual reports from 140 companies listed on the Vietnam Stock Exchange were included in the research sample. The remaining 134 reports were eligible study after removing those that lacked essential data. Using the statistical software SPSS version 25 and Excel office software, the study has selected the data processing method and the disproportionate disclosure index method to evaluate the quality of non-financial information disclosure of companies. The findings of the study demonstrate that companies listed on the Vietnam stock exchange are particularly interested in giving non-financial information to financial statement consumers as required by law, although the level of disclosure is still inadequate. The findings also illustrate the varying levels of non-financial information disclosure by category of information, as well as substantial disparities between them (general information about the company, environmental and social information, corporate governance information, etc.). The findings of the study show that the majority of Vietnam's publicly traded enterprises are less interested in reporting environmental information.

In the case of international trade, the role of 3PL (third-party logistics) providers, in recent years, has drawn more attention. At the same time, computers have become faster, cheaper, and more widely available. Thus. information systems have become commonplace to freight forwarders and the increased efficiencies to be gained in improving logistics has pushed managers to explorer a number of new ideas, technologies and methods of information management and automation. However, many companies are encountering difficulties to choose an information system flexible and satisfying all needs carrying on business. In this study RIA (rich internet application) technology based on Java Swing was introduced to the .freight forwarder information systems to provide richer user interfaces and a flexible web-based application. Also considered giving stakeholders in charge of logistics especially in SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) cost-effective and performance-effective solutions with good accessibility of internet for smooth operations of their businesses.

In this paper, we describe the approaches of shopping agents and directory services for online comparison shopping on the web, and propose an information indexing and retrieval system, named InfoEye, with a new method for automatic extraction of product information. The developed method is based on the knowledge about presentation of the product information on the Web. The method from the knowledge about presentation of the product information is derived from both the point that online stores display their products to customers in easy-to-browse ways and heuristics made of analyses of product information look-and-feel of domestic online stores. In indexing process, the method is applied to product information extraction from Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) documents collected by a mirroring robot from online stores. We have made InfoEye to a readily usable stage and transferred the technology to Webnara commercial shopping engine. The proposed system is a cutting-edge solution to help customers as a shopping expert by providing information about the reasonable price of a product from dozens of online stores, saving customers shopping time, giving information about new products, and comparing quality factors of products in a same category.

Purpose - This study aims to suggest a developmental direction to small enterprisers who start their business. The developmental direction makes the small enterprisers more stable with providing the Business District Information System service, which offers the location and business area's information aimed at pre-enterprisers after analyzing its overcrowded index's current state and problems. Research design, data, and methodology - This research proposes the developmental direction for helping the pre-small enterprisers to have more stability through examining the Business District Information System's-operated by Small Enterprise and Market Service-overcrowded index's current state and problems. Results - This system has drawbacks about giving the start-up overcrowded index as follows: ① non-accurate consultative group for sharing the DB ② providing analysis information, not evaluation information ③ not to anticipate the changes of business types & the flow of business district and perceive the symptom data with providing predictive information. Conclusions - This system should be more publicized through the mass media for making it approachable with collecting the user's opinion and investigating customer satisfaction & the level of awareness.

The information systems of the Korea Postal Service are developed not for integration based on strategic purposes but for improvement of low-level business processes within each functional unit. Hence. the as-is level of the information systems is very insufficient for information integrity, and also shows substantial gaps. when compared to recent advances in information envconment such as internet, electronic govemment and so on in this study we suggest the design of the integrated platform to achieve integrity of postal service and banking servive. After briefly addressing the issues on information systems of the Korea Postal Service. we provide the framework of the integrated platform and action plan. We believe when this framework is put into use. It can contribute to competitive performance by giving the integrity and consistency in implementing infomation systems of the Korea Postal Service.

Over the last 10 years, the number of cancer survivors in South Korea has reached nearly one million with a survival rate of 49.4%. However, integrated supportive care for cancer survivors is lagging. One area in which the current cancer control policy needs updating is in the utilization of information and communication technology (ICT). The remarkable progress in the field of ICT over the past 10 years presents exciting new opportunities for health promotion. Recent communication innovations are conducive to the exchange of meta-information, giving rise to a new service area and transforming patients into active medical consumers. Consequently, such innovations encourage active participation in the mutual utilization and sharing of high-quality information. However, these benefits from new ICTs will almost certainly not be equally available to all, leading to so-called communication inequalities where cancer survivors from lower socioeconomic classes will likely have more limited access to the best means of making use of the health information. Therefore, most essentially, emphasis must be placed on helping cancer survivors and their caregivers utilize such advances in ICT to create a more efficient flow of health information, thereby reducing communication inequalities and expanding social support. Once we enhance access to health information and better manage the quality of information, as a matter of fact, we can expect an alleviation of the health inequalities faced by cancer survivors.

The objective of this study is to identify the impacts of communication reinforcement on performance of learning in Web-PBL. Communication reinforcement is defined as the combination of information sharing and co-construction. As factors facilitating communication reinforcement, we propose learner's characteristics, task characteristics, and group characteristics. Learner's characteristics are collaboration-orientation, openness, holistic approach, and online community-orientation which reflects e-learning environment. Collaboration-oriented tasks as group projects were developed and given to groups with 5-6 members. The group characteristics are categorized into 'horizontal' and 'vertical', according to the patterns of communication between a group leader and members. To verify empirically the proposed research model, an experimental design was performed to learners who took on-line and off-line courses with group projects. We found important results as follows; First, field dependence has positive impacts on information sharing, and online community-orientation has positive impacts on co-construction. These results correspond with prior studies on relationship between field dependence and collaborative learning. Second, collaboration-oriented task directly impacts on information sharing, and indirectly affects co-construction, This result implicates that information sharing is pre-requisite of co-construction. Third, 'horizontal' was identified as a factor giving positive effects on information sharing and co-construction. This result implies that horizontal communication is very important to facilitate communication reinforcement.

This paper proposes a statistical-based linguistic methodology for automatic mapping between large-scale heterogeneous languages resources for NLP applications in general. As a particular case, it treats automatic mapping between two large-scale heterogeneous Korean language resources: Sejong Semantic Classes (SJSC) in the Sejong Electronic Dictionary (SJD) and nouns in KorLex. KorLex is a large-scale Korean WordNet, but it lacks syntactic information. SJD contains refined semantic-syntactic information, with semantic labels depending on SJSC, but the list of its entry words is much smaller than that of KorLex. The goal of our study is to build a rich language resource by integrating useful information within SJD into KorLex. In this paper, we use both linguistic and statistical methods for constructing an automatic mapping methodology. The linguistic aspect of the methodology focuses on the following three linguistic clues: monosemy/polysemy of word forms, instances (example words), and semantically related words. The statistical aspect of the methodology uses the three statistical formulae ${\chi}^2$, Mutual Information and Information Gain to obtain candidate synsets. Compared with the performance of manual mapping, the automatic mapping based on our proposed statistical linguistic methods shows good performance rates in terms of correctness, specifically giving recall 0.838, precision 0.718, and F1 0.774.

Information dispersal algorithm guarantees high availability and confidentiality for data and is one of the useful solutions for faulty and untrusted dispersed storage systems such as cloud storages. As the amount of data stored in storage systems increases, data deduplication which allows to save IT resources is now being considered as the most promising technology. Hence, it is necessary to study on an information dispersal algorithm that supports data deduplication. In this paper, we propose an information dispersal algorithm and proof of ownership for client-side data deduplication in the dispersed storage systems. The proposed solutions allow to save the network bandwidth as well as the storage space while giving robust security guarantee against untrusted storage servers and malicious clients.
