Exploratory study on impacting elements on retired special security government official's reemployment (퇴직 특정직 경호공무원의 재취업에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • I had an interview with some unemployed career staffs who had retired and worked for more than twenty years in order to research impacting elements on reemployment for l retired special security government officials. This interview included an officer and a consultant for supporting employment in order to explore compacting elements on retired security government official's reemployment. Looking over analysis results, first, there is a shortage of reemployment opportunities and information. The job applicant's employment requirements are not in accordance with the company's employment conditions. They don't have enough professional experience necessary for employment. There is no positive employment supporting counterplan or vocational education program in the organization. Second, their insight about finding a job is high for the current employment market condition. The reemployment offices have a very difficult task because job applicants prefer a full-time job which offers long term work and guarantees a social position. Third, it is a huge obstacle to undertake going into various enterprises and fields because they don't have the right mind set and enough preparation for reemployment. Moreover, they would prefer to depend on organization employment support rather than getting a new job by themselves when they don't possess other careers' qualifications. Finally, they know that social networks and personal connections are extremely important in obtaining vocations, but actually have poor social networks and few personal connections. Accordingly, Their organization and related persons need to reflect on analysis results about impacting elements on reemployment for retired special security government officials.

  • Exposure of personal information that is held by hacking accident near the company has led to severe water level. And, it has changed security threat elements generated according to businessenterprise. Therefore, in this paper, I looked at security threat elements and proposed the way of appropriate information security consulting according type of company. First, In the financial and insurance industries, and should not have been compromised by a worm virus infection due to lack of awareness inside of members, by collectively apply in the same way the internal security standards of the organization to members, the risk of customer information. It shall be provided in advance that the security accident occurs due to a higher job group. Therefore, information security consulting method based on people and information is applied. Secondly, in industry of company, to perform consulting information security based on the attributes of the case industry groups.

  • Based on a comprehensive literature review on Theory of Planned Behavior and Social Cognitive Theory, this study proposes and empirically examines a structural model consisting of factors affecting voluntary information security compliance behavior. To test the proposed research model, the study analyzes survey results from employees of a major Korean energy company, which employs an enterprise compliance support system. Results indicate three factors: compliance behavioral belief and compliance knowledge affect compliance behavior; compliance knowledge works as a mediator in the relationship between compliance behavioral belief and compliance behavior; and the more relevant the compliance is to an employee's job, the more the employee prioritizes compliance knowledge. This study suggests methods for encouraging employees to embrace voluntary, positive information security compliance standards. By doing so, this article aims to promote a more effective corporate compliance system for information security and enhance sustainable management practices.

  • Defense reform our military for the globalization of information.   • The management of professional manpower with expertise in performing specific tasks can be said to be a very important issue at the national level. Recently, interest in industrial technology protection experts continues to expand, but difficulties are growing due to the lack of policy evidence. Considering these points, this study conducted a fact-finding survey on personnel in charge of industrial technology protection, and through this, quantitative, qualitative, and job path analysis were performed for related job performers. These results are considered to be significant in that they can be used as basic information for fostering industrial technology protection experts in the future.

The Influence of Information Security Related Work Stress on Information Security Policy Resistance through Job Burnout (정보보안 관련 업무 스트레스가 직무 소진을 통해 정보보안 정책 저항에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, the importance of information security (IS) has been socially recognized, leading organizations to adopt IS policies, secure specialized personnel, and demand IS compliance from employees. However, the implementation of these policies can disrupt existing work processes, causing resistance among employees. This study aims to elucidate the mechanism linking work stress, caused by IS policies that do not consider the work system, to individual job burnout and IS policy resistance. We established a research model and hypotheses based on previous studies and utilized structural equation modeling with data collected from organization members of companies that have implemented IS policies. The results of the structural equation modeling confirmed that work ambiguity and work impediment are linked to IS policy resistance through job burnout, characterized by emotional exhaustion and disengagement. Our findings suggest that the swift implementation of IS policies can provoke a backlash from employees, with stress being the primary cause. This paradoxically indicates the need for the development of organization-specific IS policies.

  • As the information security industry has developed and its proportion in the national economy has increased, the demand for the information security manpower also has expanded. With the frequent turnovers of the information security professionals within the industry and between other industries, it is essential to investigate the causes of turnovers for the efficient human resource management and furthermore the sustainable growth of the industry. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the information security professionals' turnover intention. We reviewed related researches to select the turnover causes that affect the turnover intention and tested the relationships between the turnover causes and the turnover intention. Human resource managers can use the results of this study to maximize the performance of the organization through the reasonable turnover management of information security professionals.

  • The article analyzes the theoretical aspects of the relationship between the right to medical secrecy and the employer's right to receive information on the employee's state of health, resulting in a more complete description of the implementation of the right to medical secrecy and the employer's right to information on the employee's health state and the possibilities of protecting violated rights. The limits of permissible restrictions on the right to secrecy of health in terms of ensuring the person's performance of their job function have been clarified.

  • This study defined the influence of the quality of job information websites and of user characteristic factors on the user satisfaction and on the intention of the use thereof based on the technical acceptance model to activate research on job information or job information websites in the category of Library and Information Science, amid studies on the Fourth Industrial Revolution in various disciplines emerging. 230 users experienced in job information websites were surveyed. The surveyed data were analyzed by applying the structural equation model. The results are as follows. Accuracy, security, self-efficacy, the perceived easiness of use had a positive effect on the perceived usefulness. Up-to-dateness, self-efficacy, individual innovation had a significant effect on the perceived easiness of use. The perceived usefulness and the perceived easiness of use had a positive effect on user satisfaction, and the user satisfaction had a significant effect on the intention of use.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal reputation factors that affect the job satisfaction by big data analysis in the social media for corporate reputation and verify the difference between large corporations and small-medium corporations for each factor of internal reputation. The result showed 'Salaries and Benefits' is a major factor that affects the job satisfaction for all research corporations, 'Senior Management' is a major factor for large corporations, and 'Salaries and Benefits' is a major factor for small-medium corporations. As for the difference factors of large corporations and small-medium corporations are 'Job Satisfaction', 'Salaries and Benefits', and 'Work-life Balance'. Unstructured data analysis shows some interesting features to be studied further.
