종이나 인쇄문헌을 대체하여 다양한 유형의 자료를 읽고 브라우징하는 도구를 reading appliance라고 한다. 인쇄문헌이 갖는 많은 장점을 그대로 받아들이고 그것에서 한 단계 발전된 기능을 제공하는 reading appliance는 진보된 지식전달매체 및 디지털 도서관의 플랫폼으로 새로운 발전가능성을 보여 주고 있다.

내장형 기기의 다양성 및 적용 범위의 확장으로 내장형 기기용 운영체제도 기기별 다양성을 지원할 것이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 특성을 갖는 운영체제를 조림형 운영체제라 한다. 본 논문에서는 조림형 실시간 운영체제인 Qplus커널의 입출력 시스템 개발에 대하여 기술한다. Qplus의 입출력 시스템은 사용자의 요구에 따라 입출력 장치 구동기의 조림이 가능하며 일관된 사용자 인터페이스 및 간편한 장치 구동기 인터페이스, 빠른 입출력을 지원한다. 현재 SA110 보드를 사용한 ITSB 에서 시험되었으며 앞으로 AIO, 가상 터미널 구동기의 지원 및 입출력 성능 시험을 수행할 예정이다.

본 논문에서는 GIANT-II 미들웨어의 국제표준 기능과 GIANT-II만의 차별적 기능 등을 소개함과 아울러 이를 활용한 상용화 수준의 인터넷 시범 서비스들 중 멀티미디어 콜 센터를 소개한다. 현재까지의 관련 연구 결과들은 대화의 실시간성이 결여되어 있고, 공통된 미들웨어 없는 개별적인 개발로 호환이 결여된 중복성을 야기시킬 우려가 있다는 단점이 있다. GIANT-II는 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위하여 핵심 기능을 계층 구조로 통합한 것으로 1) Collaborative Multimedia Middleware, 2) 기본 소프트웨어, 3) 응용 소프트웨어로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 특징의 Internet Multimedia Collaboration을 위한 플랫폼인 GIANT-II의 기본 개념과 구성 요소를 설명한다.

Objectives: The purpose of this review is to analyse the trends of clinical studies using oral appliance in Korean Medicine. Methods: We reviewed Korean Medicine papers by searching Korean web databases 'Korea Traditional Knowledge Portal (KTKP)', 'Korea Medical Information Portal (OASIS)', 'Academic Research Information Service (RISS)', 'Scientific and Technological Information Integration Service (NDSL)'. We classified the papers by the year of publishment, the title of journals, the type of study and contents. Results: 1. Clinical studies using oral appliance have been increasingly published since 2011. 2. Most of the studies were published in the Journal of TMJ Balancing Medicine. 3. 33 research papers were divided in to 6 original articles, 27 case reports. But almost presented a low level of evidence. 4. In the content of the studies, oral appliance were used for various diseases such as nervous system, musculoskeletal system and visceral system. Conclusions: We expect that various studies and clinical application will be actively carried out with the development of technology related to oral appliance.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to grasp the level of effects innovative features and quality of the appliance system on organizational performance and ultimately analyze the willingness of the IT staff to adopt an appliance system. Methods: The survey was conducted on 350 vendors' clients and partners who currently use an appliance system from March to May 2014. A total of 331 effective questionnaires were collected and analyzed using PASW18 and SmartPLS. Results: The results show that relative advantage, facilitating condition and trialability and quality factors all had an effect on organizational performance expectations. Further, when an appliance system is adopted, it was shown that cost and reliability emphasized by a vendor did not produce any significant effects on organizational performance expectations. Conclusion: This study is significant as it is the first to combine such models as Innovation Diffusion Theory, Information Systems Success Model, and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology with a new external variable. In addition, it illustrated how variables affect the adoption of an appliance system such as a new innovation system.

For several ten years, the Internet and IT services have been greatly developed in PC area and with this, new BM and services with terminals like Post-PC and Non-PC types will come into the spotlight in few years. In various fields of service, terminals exclusive to individual service come into the market already, the hardware and the contents used in the terminals are circulating. The communication service providers are very enthusiastic about developing and providing various services in order to overcome the growth limit of existing network connection service. And they think that providing the Non-PC type Information Appliance services will make added values and be sources of making profits in next generation. Hereupon we are going to observe the Non-PC type Information Appliance services, the structure of the service platform that make that services possible, and their prospect.

본 논문은 LonWorks 네트워크를 이용한 원격 홈오토메이션 시스템에 대해서 설명한다. 최근 홈네트워킹 개념의 확산에 따라 다양한 정보가전 기술의 발전이 가속화 되고 있다. 또한, 다양한 정보 가전 기기를 연동하기 위한 다양한 매체(IEEE1394, USB, PLC, TP, IRDA, BLUETOOTH 등)가 제시되고 있고 이를 제어하기 위한 미들웨어(Jini, Havi, LonWorks 등)가 거론되고 있다. 이러한 환경에서 가능한 서비스를 미리 살펴보고 이를 구성하기 위한 기본적인 요소 기술의 필요성을 살펴본다. 본 논문에서 설계한 원격 홈오토메이션 시스템은 제어 미들웨어에서 표준이 되고 있는 LonWorks를 이용하여 인터넷에서 홈내부의 디바이스를 모니터링 가능하도록 구축하였다.

본 논문은 다양한 홈네트워크의 미들웨어간의 연동 서비스를 위한 구조를 설명한다. 최근 홈네트워킹 개념이 정립됨에 따라 다양한 매체(IEEE1394, USB, PLC, TP, IRDA, BLUETOOTH 등)를 지원하는 다양한 정보가전 디바이스가 나오고 있고 이들을 제어하기 위한 Jini, Havi, LonWorks 등의 홈네트워크 미들웨어가 거론되고 있다. 홈 내에 다양한 미들웨어를 지원하는 정보기기, 백색가전 제어기기, AV 기기 등의 디바이스들 사이에 가능한 서비스를 미리 살펴보고 이를 지원하기 위한 환경을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 설계한 홈네트워크 미들웨어 연동 서비스는 다양한 매체를 홈서버에서 수용하여 중앙 집중적인 연동 서비스가 가능하도록 구축하였다.
