It is proven that students learn more effectively when they apply Empirical knowledge which they have experienced or been facing. Therefore, the customized training supporting systems for information communication ethics education for primary school is developed. It provide resources on the internet such as teaching methodology, teaching materials, real life examples and applications related to information communication ethics education to the teachers. Each resource is categorized according to the topic and it improved information communication ethics education by providing customized resources on the topic. It is also helpful for users to select necessary resources by informing the suitability between the subject and the resources and to lift the burden on searching the data.

All technology has both intended and unintended effects, we have said, and information technology is no exception. Information technology offers a number of challenges: those of computer education, computer literacy, the ethical and societal impacts of computing and communication systems. Current computer education focuses primarily on the history, parts and usage of a computer, and programming, it does not fully include the moral standards or ethics that help guide behavior and conduct for citizens of Information society. The purpose of this study is to review of the theoretical issues and societal impacts of computers, communication systems and computer ethics; then, to nalyse current curriculum and content of school computer education in Korea: finally, to develop a possible course in computer ethics containing a goal statement and aspects of computer literacy. Contents in computer ethics covers issues of nettiquette, privacy, health, copyright-related software and network piracy, computer crime and viruses. Six suggestions are made for the computer ethics of Information Age in the conclusion.

These days, increasing information and communication ethics related crimes frequently covered by mass media are calling for information and communication ethics education. Education scholars have been doing a lot of studies on the measure to practice information and communication ethics education. There is a need for the courseware that can integratedly use information and communication ethics education methods, and this study aims to present courseware in case-based way as an alternative. This study aims to develop and apply a case-based program for information and communication ethics education amongst elementary schoolers, and to verify the effect. For this purpose, two groups that turned out to be homogeneous through a pre-test with information-listing courseware and case-based courseware were chosen and given education. And then, the two groups were compared though a post-test, and the effects of the programs was verified through pre- and post-paired test on each group.

Information-oriented society caused by development of computer and communication has benefited us with a convenient life. However, its side effects are widespread, which increases the need of the education of information and communication ethics. In this study, we take an approach of virtue education to cultivate information and communication ethics, as virtue is required to make a desirable information-oriented society. Lessons of Myungsimbogam were administered to the 6th grade elementary school students for nine weeks. The results demonstrated positive effects in internet addiction, chat addiction, and netiquette for the experimental group. However, no positive effects in game addiction were found.

The deviant behaviors on cyberspace in Korea are increased recently because of the unbalanced development between the social ethics and the technological improvement on information and communication technology. To overcome this, educations on information and communication ethics are executed in school. However most of the educations is to deliver the knowledge on the disfunction of informationization and rules of netiquette without the analysis of the psychological characteristics on the cyberspace. Therefore, educations on information and communication ethics, in which the changes of social behaviors and value attitude are essential, is ineffective by making the students as passive and enervated users. In this research, we developed a teaching-learning model for cultivating consciousness of information and communication ethics by the establishment of ego identity on cyberspace and then proved the effectiveness by the experiment in school. Students can raise their abilities on active dealing with the given situation and context according to this teaching-learning model.

Information and communication environment includes a lot of dangerous factors to elementary school children who do not establish their own value sense as well as its related knowledge yet. This paper proposes a case based multiplex teaching and learning model which leads students to participate and be interested in, then to improve the educational level of information and communication ethics in elementary school. This model progresses in centric of the conflict situations in information and communication ethics that can be commonly occurred in actual life. To adapt case based approach, three types of teaching and learning models, value conflict, value clarification, and role playing, are applied in a combined form. Along with applying the models, their educational effects have been compared and analysed in time sequence, in the educational level improvement point of view. The verification has been conducted by using surveys and questionnaires, in the four areas; cognitive, affective, behavioral, and then overall. The verification results show that the proposed method is effective to improve the educational level of information and communication ethics in elementary schooll.

With the spread of smart phones, the Internet became a major 'space' of students' daily life and, at the same time, negative aspects of the internet are affecting their life. However, it doesn't seem that there is enough research on this subject. This study was conducted on 278 students in Gyeonggi. The results were as follows. First, gifted students' information and communication ethics index was higher than general students. Second, there was no statistically significant difference according to the gender of information and communication ethics index. Urban districts showed lower index in the upper grades than the lower grades. Third, about 10% of the students had experience of contact with harmful content, and about 1% of students had experienced cyber-wrongdoing. Through the results of this study, systematic education of IT ethics at the elementary school grade level can be expected to prevent school violence, improve information and communication culture, and serve as a future work ethic.

Information society, introduced by the rapid progress of computer technology and communication technology, has brought us the comfort and prosperity on every aspect of human life. However, the adverse and harmful effects of it, including the ethics problems, turn out to be serious. Concerning these problems, purpose of this study is set to investigate the actual state of ethics awareness on information and communication, since ethics awareness is required more urgently than ever in this era of technology. While adolescents, who will lead the future society, comprise the majority of internet usage population in our nation, they are exposed to the harmful and risky contents in the periods during which their world view would be established. Furthermore, the problems emerging in the progress towards information-oriented society are jeopardizing the dignity and inherent value of human being, therefore causing the serious moral chaos and social problems. In this paper, the awareness level of middle school students in Gwangju City has been investigated especially in the aspect of information and communication. Based on the results, it is revealed that the efforts of government, social organization, students' parents as well as the education circles are essential. Also the proposal for improvement on the awareness level has been presented.

The purpose of this thesis was to implement effective blended PBL(Problem-Based Learning) systems for information communication ethics education. The proposed systems, Online learning and face-to-face classes were systematically combined and Moodle is used for online learning platform. We proposed the use of wikis and blogs not just for creation of knowledge, but as active learning tool to support PBL. In the proposed system, learners used the web 2.0 as a open place to create new knowledge and experience various effects of PBL, such as (1) Improvement of problem solving ability, (2) Understanding of cooperative learning. The blended PBL systems with teaching and learning model were evaluated learners' level of satisfaction and educational achievement in the study of information communication ethics. The result shows that blended PBL learning method is more effective in cultivating consciousness of information communication ethics and showed more higher level of learners' satisfaction and educational achievement than the face-to-face PBL learning method.

Price skimming practices, false claim on products, false information/communication, marketing overseas, and deception on products in marketing have received significant attention by the researchers of ethics in marketing studies. This research considers these phenomena as marketing instruments that grossly violate the practice of ethics in this domain. The two most crucial parts in marketing that have received greater attention are product safety and advertising. The paper also examines Ethical Marketing as the ability to make marketing decisions that are morally right and acceptable to all. In order words, ethics in marketing explains how moral standards can be applied in marketing decisions. It seeks to answer the research question by looking at some fundamental business ethics theories, namely, Virtue ethics, Utilitarian, and Deontological approaches to business ethics. Nevertheless, ethics in business is very controversial as many hold different view about what makes up the standard morals that corporations should take and so it is necessary for any organization to formulate its ethical codes to follow.
