비자발적 환경하에서 사용자의 심리적 몰입이 이직의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 회계정보시스템 사용자를 중심으로 - (A Study on the effect of turnover intention by psychological commitment in Mandatory Environments - Focused on the Accounting Information Systems' Users -)

  • This paper presents and tests a conceptual model of Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) that explains perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, organizational commitment and turnover intention in terms of psychological commitment in mandatory environments. The model focuses on psychological commitment(Kelman's internalization, identification, compliance) as the primal of predictor of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and organizational commitment we discuss our current understanding of technology acceptance, as well as the notion of mandated use. The results and implications of the research are as follows. First, organizational commitment negatively influence turnover intention in mandatory environment. Second, perceived usefulness positively influence organizational commitment in mandatory environments. Third, psychological commitment positively influence organizational commitment, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use in mandatory environments. Fourth, perceived ease of use positively influence perceived usefulness in mandatory environments. Through this research, psychological commitment is a strong determinant of technology acceptance in mandatory environments. These findings advance theory and contribution to the foundation for future research aimed at improving our understanding of user adoption behavior in mandatory environments.

Through this research, psychological commitments are the strong determinants of technology acceptance in mandatory environments. These findings advance theory and contribution to the foundation for future research aimed at Improving our understanding of user adoption behavior in mandatory environments.

  • Localization of aerial vehicles and map building of flight environments are key technologies for the autonomous flight of small UAVs. In outdoor environments, an unmanned aircraft can easily use a GPS (Global Positioning System) for its localization with acceptable accuracy. However, as the GPS is not available for use in indoor environments, the development of a SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) system that is suitable for small UAVs is therefore needed. In this paper, we suggest a vision-based SLAM system that uses vision sensors and an AHRS (Attitude Heading Reference System) sensor. Feature points in images captured from the vision sensor are obtained by using GPU (Graphics Process Unit) based SIFT (Scale-invariant Feature Transform) algorithm. Those feature points are then combined with attitude information obtained from the AHRS to estimate the position of the small UAV. Based on the location information and color distribution, a Gaussian process model is generated, which could be a map. The experimental results show that the position of a small unmanned aircraft is estimated properly and the map of the environment is constructed by using the proposed method. Finally, the reliability of the proposed method is verified by comparing the difference between the estimated values and the actual values.

Patterns of Information Seeking Behaviour of Law Students in Digital Environment: A Study

  • Nowadays the enormous growth of modern information communication technologies and its massive use have influenced information users all over the world. Such a digital environment has drastically changed the information seeking patterns of information users of every community. These also tend law students to use various legal information sources and services in digital environments while seeking information. But there have been few empirical user studies on the aspect of digital information seeking behaviours of law students in either law or library and information science literatures. This paper aims to draw out patterns of information seeking behavior of students of law in digital environments at the University of Dhaka. A stratified random sample survey was conducted for this study. The results show that students prefer the electronic format of information rather than printed format. Major e-resources used by them and the influential factors of use were also identified in this study. This study also identified some crucial problems for seeking information and provides suggestions for the development of electronic legal information systems.

모바일 기기를 위한 정보검색 시스템 (Information Retrieval System for Mobile Devices)

  • Mobile information retrieval is an evolving branch of information retrieval that is centered on mobile and ubiquitous environments. In general, mobile devices are characterized by lightweight, low power, small memory, small display, limited input/output, low bandwidth, and so on. Some of these characteristics make it impossible to apply general information retrieval to mobile environments without any modification. In order to relieve this problem, we design and implement an information retrieval system for mobile devices like wireless phones, PDA and handheld devices. We use document summarization techniques to alleviate the limitation of small display and user profiles to retrieve the most proper documents for each individual user for personalized search. Futhermore we use meta-search to lighten some burdens visiting several portal sites. In this paper, we have implemented and demonstrated the proposed mobile information retrieval system on the domain of travel and received good evaluation from users subjectively.

A Wireless Location-Based Routing Algorithm in Multi-User Game Environments

  • In this paper, we propose a wireless location-based routing algorithm which uses the location information of its neighbor nodes and a destination node. At first, the proposed routing algorithm forwards a packet to the X direction by selecting a closest node to its destination as a next hop in terms of the X coordinate until the packet reaches closely to the packet's destination. Then the packet is forwarded to the Y direction by selecting a closest node to its destination in terms of the Y coordinate. We use a back off mechanism in case that a next hop cannot be found using the proposed routing algorithm, which resolves loops while forwarding. The experimental results show that the proposed routing algorithm performs well like the existing routing algorithms Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector and Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing. It is expected to use the proposed routing algorithm in the digital battlefield of military environments and survival games of commercial environments.

Local Minimum Free Motion Planning for Mobile Robots within Dynamic Environmetns

  • We build a local minimum free motion planning for mobile robots considering dynamic environments by simple sensor fusion assuming that there are unknown obstacles which can be detected only partially at a time by proximity sensors and can be cleaned up or moved slowly (dynamic environments). Potential field is used as a basic platform for the motion planning. To clear local minimum problem, the partial information on the obstacles should be memorized and integrated effectively. Sets of linked line segments (SLLS) are proposed as the integration method. Then robot's target point is replaced by virtual target considering the integrated sensing information. As for the main proximity sensors, we use laser slit emission and simple web camera since the system gives more continuous data information. Also, we use ultrasonic sensors as the auxiliary sensors for simple sensor fusion considering the advantages in that they give exact information about the presence of any obstacle within certain range. By using this sensor fusion, the dynamic environments can be dealt easily. The performance of our algorithm is validated via simulations and experiments.

EDS scenario Implementation for the Multiple Network and Multiple Service Environments

  • The wide deployment of wireless access technologies and the integration of various access network interfaces into a single terminal, allows mobile end-users to be always connected to the IP network, and to use those interface simultaneously. In this paper the CTE provides various access network interfaces capabilities, allowing reception of data over multiple service providers with different characteristics. Considerations for multiple network and service provider environments are regarded as essential for the successful deployment of convergence services in Next Generation Network (NGN). Event Driven Service (EDS) is regarded as a typical convergence service converging different functions of multiple service providers. This paper first describes the deployment model of NGN convergence services for multiple service provider environments. It also covers the service scenario of EDS, a convergence service for multiple service provider environments in NGN. Multiple provider environments stimulates the unified identifier management, namely ubiquitous identification (U-ID), to enable users to be provided convergence services without awareness of multiple provides. Then the designed structure and procedures of U-ID based EDS are given. Finally, the implementation results tested on Korea Advanced Research Network (KOREN) are described.

u-Learning DCC Contents Authoring Systems based on Learning Activities

  • With the development of information communication and network technologies, ubiquitous era that supports various services regardless of places and time has been advancing. The development of such technologies has a great influence on educational environments. As a result, e-learning concepts that learners use learning contents in anywhere and anytime have been proposed. The various learning contents authoring systems that consider the e-learning environments have also been developed. However, since most of the existing authoring systems support only PC environments, they are not suitable for various ubiquitous mobile devices. In this paper, we design and implement a contents authoring system based on learning activities for u-learning environments. Our authoring system significantly improves the efficiency for authoring contents and supports various ubiquitous devices as well as PCs.

고등학생들의 정보이용환경(IUEs)에 관한 연구 (A Study on High School Students' Information Use Environments)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정보이용환경 모형을 적용하여 교육열 높은 지역 고등학생들의 특성과 전형적인 정보문제들을 확인하고 그 문제해결을 위한 정보원, 그리고 이용환경을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울 K구 소재 중산층과 사교육기관이 밀집한 지역 3개 고교 220명의 학생들에게 설문지를 배포하고 188부의 유효응답 설문지를 회수하였고, SPSS24를 이용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, T-검증, 카이제곱 교차분석, 탐색적 요인분석을 하였다. 수집된 데이터를 사람들, 정보문제, 문제해결, 이용환경의 네 요소로 나누어 분석한 결과, 이 지역 고등학생들은 학교교육, 대학진학, 변화와 혁신에 대체로 긍정적인 태도를 갖추고 있으며 여러 정보원 중에 인터넷커뮤니티와 포털을 가장 선호하였다. 학생들의 전형적인 정보문제는 7개 자아범주의 21개 문제임이 도출되었으며 이들은 감정적 자아와 인지적 자아 범주의 문제들을 가장 중요하다고 인식하였다. 이 두 자아범주의 문제해결을 위해서는 부모, 형제, 자매가 주요정보원이었는데 이 결과는 학생들이 가장 선호하는 정보원이 인터넷 커뮤니티와 포털이라는 조사 결과와는 달라 흥미롭다. 학생들의 주중 일상적 이용환경은 집과 학교이며 그 외 스마트기기, 사교육학원, PC 또는 노트북 등의 순이었고 학생들의 주말 일상적 이용 환경은 집 외에 사교육학원, 음식점, PC 또는 노트북 등의 순이었다. 또한 이용환경은 성별과 학년에 따라 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 본 연구는 후속 연구를 위해 연구 결과로부터 파생된 여러 연구 질문을 남겼으며 다양한 맥락에 적용가능한 정보이용환경 모형을 교육열이 높은 지역 고등학생들에게 적용했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
