A Design of University Information System Operation Audit Model based on ITIL V3

  • The purpose of constructing university information system is for improvement in diversification and throughput of information, streamlines business processes, rapid exchange of information, sharing of information, decision-making information, and securing educational facilities. Similar to business information technology system, university information system does not have a review system for sharing and overlapping investment of information. Due to the lack of project management for outsourcing and vulnerability of system suitability, system audit is absolutely needed for the university information system. This paper especially focuses on an operational phase in the audit of university information system. Additionally, we proposed operating model and checklists of the university information system based on Management Guidelines of ITIL V3 Operational and Information System. We derived the checklists of operation audit by each domain of service strategy, service design, service transition, service operation, and continual service improvement. As the result, this study appear to have more than average satisfaction the suitability results were.

  • Recently, researches on IT Service Management (ITSM) for improving information system operation service and information system outsourcing cost estimation model are proliferating. This study suggests a new cost model of IT operation service and optimizing method based upon the characteristics of operation service as a long-term and continuous business service for both user's and service provider's point of view. This study explains the cost optimization model of IT operation service by improving service request management process, such as adequate reception and control, proper valuation, process management using project management methodology, effective organization and time management of service personnel. Especially in this study, service ability improvement effect and fixed operation cost reduction effect are defined to prove the proposed new cost model.

  • IT 아웃소싱 운영의 효율적이고 품질 높은 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 정보시스템 운영 원칙을 세우고, 그 원칙을 통하여 운영관리가 이루어져야 한다. 따라서, 정보시스템 운영관리 프로세스를 참조한 정보시스템 운영관리 프로세스의 정립이 필요하다. 정보시스템 운영감리는 구축 개발 감리와는 다르게 일회성이 아닌 매주기별로 지속적인 감리가 필요함으로 운영관리 프로세스의 변화에 따라 운영감리 지침도 보완이 이루어져야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 IT아웃소싱 운영을 위한 정보시스템 운영감리 모형을 제안하였다. IT서비스 영역을 참조하여 계획, 전략, 계약, 서비스, 관리 등 IT아웃소싱 운영관리를 위한 정보시스템 운영감리 모형 및 점검항목을 제안하였으며, 도출된 감리모형 및 점검항목은 전문가들의 설문조사를 통하여 제안한 모형의 적합성을 검증하였다.

  • The business is faced with the situation must improve a power in an increasingly competitive environment due to the recent rapid advance in information technology and the opening and expansion of global market, fast technological change, and various customer demand. The rapid change in information technology is having an effect on not only all the processes to develop products, but information contents that is provided for the purpose of customer value, and the appearance of products. In other words, the information technology is being recognized as a very important factor among other factors for companies to enhance their competitiveness. In addition, it is more efficient to focus on key factor to maintain the competitive advantage on the using of information technology by outsourcing information systems, rather than by operating the systems under their own. Since the global financial crisis, the long-term recession has been increasing companies who is ready to adopt outsourcing or adopted already. This study is to understand the environment and unique characteristics of outsourcing services and related industries focusing on information system operation and management in information outsourcing services, and is to set the concept needed through my theory that is connected to the service quality and customer satisfaction. A lot of business wiew the improvement of service quality and ensuring customer satisfaction as the major factors of business growth, and lots of ongoing studies have focused on service management in the Information outsourcing service industry. Yet few studies have ever concentrated on the quality of information system operation management service. This study, moreover, is to define the quality of service related with customer satisfaction from customer's viewpoint, measuring effects on customer satisfaction. The quality of outsourcing service on information system in this study is a great help to companies who are offering information outsourcing service, and company's managers and staffs who outsourcedto specialized company.

  • 현재 자율주행 관련 기술은 주행의 정도를 적용하여 단계별로 발전하고 있다. 자율주행 차량이 움직이는 도로에 대한 운영 관리 기술도 자율주행 기술에 발맞춰 발전해야 하는 것은 필수적이다. 그러나 현재 도로 운영 관리의 경우 2차원 정보만을 사용하여 관리되고 있어 차로 및 시설물 정보관리, 유지 보수의 체계화된 운영 관리에 한계를 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 현재 2차원 공간데이터를 기반으로 관리하고 있는 차로 및 시설물 운영 관리 시스템을 정밀도로 지도 데이터와 실시간 빅 데이터 처리가 가능한 융합 형태의 데이터베이스를 설계하여 3차원 공간정보 기반의 운영 관리가 가능한 운영 관리 시스템 아키텍처 구성 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 향후 정밀도로 지도를 기반으로 한 운영 관리 시스템을 구축하여 차로 및 시설물 유지관리에 사용할 경우 시설물을 시각화하여 관리할 수 있으며, 다중 사용자의 데이터 편집 및 분석이 가능하고, 다양한 GIS S/W와 연동이 가능하며, 보안 및 백업·복구 등의 기능이 강화되어 대용량의 실시간 데이터를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • In this paper, the analysis methods of available information are reviewed and it is elicited to the method of which the analysis results are applied to the Autonomous Decentralized Train Management System for the optimization at the point of the route control time and for making the efficiency shunting plan in the Autonomous Centralized Station Operation Control System. As the statistics and estimated information which are got through the utilizable information analysis are applied for the automatic route control function and the shunting plan management of the station operation control system, it is possible to use efficiently the station information by the autonomous route control system. And as the exact forecast information needed for the shunting plan establishment and the operation is provided to the operator, it is established to the efficient train operation plan.

  • 국방 연구개발은 사용군의 요구사항을 만족시키는 무기체계를 최단 기간, 최소 비용 및 고품질로 개발하고자 노력하고 있으며, 통합 데이터베이스 전산 환경 하에서 체계공학 및 동시공학을 체계적으로 구현하기 위한 연구개발 프로세스 및 도구들이 개발되고 있다. 항공 무기체계 분야에서 본 논문의 연구개발 과정에서 생성되는 기술 자료를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 웹기반 체계운영관리시스템을 개발 및 운용하고 있으며, 기존 항공 무기체계 연구개발 사업에 적용하여 그 효율성을 입증 및 검증하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 체계운영관리시스템 기반으로 향후 개발 예정인 보라매 사업, 무인항공기 및 무인전투기에 적용 가능한 통합 연구개발 프레임웍(Framework) 및 통합 무기체계 데이터베이스 발전 방안에 대해서 기술한다. 또한, 연구소에서 운영 예정인 WISEMAN과의 연동 및 통합 방안에 대해서도 기술한다.

  • Distribution Management System(DMS) ienhancing distribution automation system-based operation efficiency is an optimized system by various operational applications in a distribution network. DMS employs various applications like topology reconfiguration, volt/var control, and restoration at events such as overload, voltage violation, and a fault in a distribution system. An operation efficiency to employ multi-applications as restoration with short-term load forecasting is higher than a performance by a single application; and the applications are accomplished by an operator’s control. Applications’ combination is determined by various alarm information which means critical issues in order to operate a distribution system. Thus, this paper proposes an application management system which can configure application combination, control applications depending on alarm information and check their performance condition. The proposed application management system can be customized by operator easily and have high operation efficiency and reliability because it is worked by reviewed alarm information from operator.

  • Due to almost all tracks of new Kyoungbu high-speed lines(HSL) consisting of bridges and tunnels, HSR operational safety management is very important factor for passenger safety and preventing catastrophic event. Especially, it is important to approach the scene of the accident and assist in saving lives as soon as possible under emergency conditions. Therefore it is essential to prepare access methods and available resources in advance in order to support emergency correspodances promptly and effectively. This paper persents an application of geographical information system(GIS) for developing emergency management system as well as batabase system on tracks and facilities, electric/communication equipment and safety equipment required to support emergencies. The on-site information on the proximity of HSL is expressed on the numerical map, which can be helpful to call external supports such as medical service, local authorities, police offices, fire brigades, and etc. for the emergency situations.

  • This is a study to research the effective way to enhance the performance of safety management by gathering and analyzing the information of undesirable occurrences that may result in accident or serious incident. This includes the way to identify the potential hazards related with the proactive activities. As detailed improvements, this paper introduces the mandatory and voluntary reporting system, normal operation safety survey, ATC quality assurance and the encouragement of just culture.
