  • This study was designed to develop a website for providing nutrition information and education for college women and young women. The website focuses on two topics ; general nutrition and desirable weight control. This program is located at http : // www.ezydiet.co.kr. This program is composed of 5 major sections. The first two sections were designed to provide information ; one for general nutrition, and the other for providing information regarding weight control. The first section includes information regarding young adult women's diet, nutrition standards, such as the RDA or Korean Food Pyramid, drinking and smoking. The second section coveres information regarding desirable control, foods with high or low calories, eating disorders and popularly used dieting methods. The third section is for simple nutrition assessment, consisting of assessment of ideal body weight and obesity, energy requirements, and eating habits. The fourth section was designed to introduce and help users to apply behavioral modification techniques, such as monitoring, goal setting, stimulus control and reinforcement. The final section was designed for meal planning, by introducing a food exchange list and menu examples for one week. The characteristics of this web-based program are as follows ; 1) provide nutrition information systematically, 2) involve sections for the participation of the user, 3) include food pictures to help understanding of nutrition information, 4) include management modules for some sections to revise or update the information. One-hundred and ten female university students participated in the evaluation of this website. The evaluation results were favorable. About 90% of subjects rated that this program covers major topics 'well ' or 'very well', and that it was 'easy'to 'very easy'to understand the contents on website. Two-thirds of subjects rated quite positively on questions regarding attractiveness, overall quality and technical quality of website. In addition, about three-fourths of subjects answered that this website was helpful in increasing nutrition knowledge and in applying nutrition information into daily life. • A movie information program has a positive effect on the viewer's intention to watch the movie by providing an indirect experience of the movie based on trust. In order to increase the effectiveness of a movie information program, a data service that provides the additional information on the movies introduced in a movie information program has been studied. However, since the study limited the data service to one movie information program, it was difficult to apply it to the actual environment of general cable broadcasting companies or satellite broadcasting companies that transmit multiple movie information programs. Therefore, this study expanded the existing research limited to one movie information program to provide additional information of several movie information programs. This study is meaningful in that it suggests a data service that can be operated in the realistic environment of a broadcaster that actually transmits several movie information programs.

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the landscape of knowledge and information services that public libraries around the world have been providing since modern times. In particular, as social distancing has become routine, the contraction of cultural activities and the shift to online platforms have negatively impacted library visitation and use services, greatly reducing borrowing and reading, use of spaces and facilities, interlibrary loan services, program operations, and outreach services. Therefore, this study investigated and analyzed the current status of services provided by public libraries in Korea and abroad in response to COVID-19, and proposed practical ways to improve and expand services in response to COVID-19 based on the results of a survey of librarians' perceptions. Specifically, these include improving the online reservation system for reading and borrowing services and developing and providing various outreach services, acquiring and expanding electronic resources, expanding online program services (reading, culture, lifelong learning, etc.), strengthening library services for vulnerable populations, providing information portal services related to new infectious diseases, strengthening facilities and space provision services, preparing infectious disease response guidelines, and providing education and training to strengthen librarians' capabilities.

  • Researches of current PMIS(Project Management Information System) information searching focus on providing personalized results as well as matching needed queries in an enormous amount of information. This paper aim at discovering hidden knowledge to provide personalized and inferred search results based on the ontology with categorized concepts and relations among construction data. The current PMIS searching occasionally presents too much redundant information or offers no matching results from large volumes of data. In this paper, we propose a service searching system, which becomes aware of users device using iPMIS(Intelligent Program Management Information System). And we design and plant the ontology-based iPMIS, which is aware of the context in its environment.

  • Virtual Reality (VR) is one of the core components of the fourth industrial revolution as a technology that makes the virtual world feel as if it is real. VR is being used in various fields such as entertainment, advertisement, education, medical care, training, sports, and tourism, as well as providing contents for such things as games and videos. Libraries are already looking for ways to utilize VR from various angles, such as operating experiential programs. The purpose of this thesis is to develop and propose a VR-based library user education program. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, we analyzed previous studies from a theoretical perspective to find a way to construct a user education program, and also to derive possible implications based on examples of countries such as the United States and Korea that are already introducing and applying VR technology to library services. Therefore, the user education program proposed in this study can be used as a basic building block when many libraries want to develop VR-based programs in the future.

  • In this study, we propose an information providing and learning system using augmented reality in the exhibition (museum, performance) environment. In a typical exhibition space, a description of a picture or a photograph is provided in a printed matter or a space in the form of an information space (explanatory space), or an auxiliary explanation using an 'audio guide' or a 'docent' program. Augmented reality technology is applied to the exhibition space in the form of a fusion of these methods, and the description of the exhibition is provided to the user in various forms such as text, picture, audio and image, thereby providing stereoscopic information and learning. We apply the augmented reality technology in a specific exhibition space and utilize it as a tool of providing information and learning using image description of pictures.
