In order to transmit various types of multimedia data (i.e. voice, video, and data) over a wireless channel, the coding and modulation scheme needs to be flexible and capable of providing a variable quality of service, data rates, and latency. In this paper, we study a mobile multimedia COMA network combined with the concatenated Reed-Solomon/Rate Compatible Punctured Convolution code (RS/RCPC). Also, this paper propose the combination of concatenated RS/RCPC coder and COMA RAKE receiver for multimedia COMA traffic which can be sent over wireless channels. From the results, using a frequency selective Rayleigh fading channel model, it is shown that concatenated RS/RCPC coder at the wireless physical layer can be effective in providing reliable wireless multimedia CDMA network. And the proposed scheme that combine concatenated RS/RCPC coder and CDMA RAKE receiver provides a significant gain in the BER performance over multi-user interference and multipath frequency selective fading channels.

In this paper, based on the relative logical storage cost of each movie by the difference of service request probability, we propose and implement the SDU(Separate Data Use) method and the EDU(Existing Data Use) method to provide FF(Fast Forward) and FR(Fast Reverse) function in efficiently through analysing MPEG bit stream and frame characteristics. By selecting and applying the FF/FR function providing method based on the service request probability of movie, the proposed method can reduce the cost of FF/FR functions for total serviced movies.
Many organizations today use patch management systems to uniformly manage software vulnerabilities. However, the patch management system does not guarantee the integrity of the patch in the process of providing the patch to the client. In this paper, we propose a method to guarantee patch integrity through dual electronic signatures. The dual electronic signatures are performed by the primary distribution server with the first digital signature and the secondary distribution server with the second digital signature. The dual electronic signature ensures ensure that there is no forgery or falsification in the patch transmission process, so that the client can verify that the patch provided is a normal patch. The dual electronic signatures can enhance the security of the patch management system, providing a secure environment for clients.
The study proposed a new type of bus information, Real-time Bus Crowdedness (RBC) information, to meet various demands of users and improve the convenience level of using public transportation, while existing bus information provided by bus information systems(BIS) were limited to bus operating information such as predicted bus arrival time. To analyze the impacts of providing the proposed RBC information, stated preference(SP) survey was performed and a methodology of disaggregate analysis (e.g., binary logit) was applied to develop passenger choice models. Additionally, passenger choice models incorporating the heterogeneity of different user groups(i.e., by age or trip purposes) were developed to evaluate the different responses on RBC information. The results showed that providing RBC information was significantly related to users' bus choices and the responses of user groups were significantly different, especially the age group of more then 60 was most affected by the RBC information on their bus choices. Also trip purposes were significantly related to users' bus choices, for instance the impacts of providing RBC information was bigger for non-business trips(leisure/meet friend/personal business, shopping, hospital) compared to business trip.

As the utilization value of personal information becomes higher, discussions about providing personal information are being conducted actively. One of the most common methods of providing personal information is that a group obtains a personal information with a consent of individual. However, the above method has 2 problems. First, more information is exposed than the information required by organization for utilization of personal information. Second, trusted party should provide organization with an authentication of personal information whenever they require personal information. To solve these problems, we propose a personal information management system with blockchain using zk-SNARK(zero-knowledge Succinct Non-interactive ARgument of Knowledge) for privacy. Our proposal enables individuals to guarantee reliability of their information and protect their privacy concurrently using zk-SNARK when they provid organization with their personal information. In addition, it is possible to manage the personal information data while ensuring the integrity of the data using blockchain and it is possible to share the personal information more conveniently than existing systems.

Users often visit many stores while comparing the products for purchasing products or products related to it. Given a service providing location information of these stores, users can make their purchase efficiently because of reducing the time and effort they spent for wandering around and obtaining new purchase opportunities by knowing a kind of relevant stores near there. In this paper, for the purpose of providing relevant stores information efficiently, we suggest an Ambient Service Model that consists of three layers: "structured(purchase-related) information space", "real space", and "ambient information space". In the model, stores information collected from the web is grouped and structured automatically by relationships in terms of purchase. And users search relevant stores information by using an Ambient Query that is created by their context in real space. Finally, users obtain relevant stores information that is in the form of hierarchy structure on map interface. Then, users can search other kinds of relevant stores information additionally by using hierarchy structure. Consequently, It is possible to develope a service that users can obtain relevant stores information intuitively without complex search processes through the model. Also, we expect that the model can be used for developing services that provide objects information related to various objects besides stores.

Wireless sensor technology has been opened up numerous opportunities to advanced health and maintenance monitoring of civil infrastructure. Compare to the traditional tactics, it offers a better way of providing relevant information regarding the condition of building structure health at a lower price. Numerous domestic buildings, especially longer-span buildings have a low frequency response and challenging to measure using deployed numbers of sensors. The way the sensor nodes are connected plays an important role in providing the signals with required strengths. Out of many topologies, the dense and sparse topologies wireless sensor network were extensively used in sensor network applications for collecting health information. However, it is still unclear which topology is better for obtaining health information in terms of greatest components, node's size and degree. Theoretical and computational issues arising in the selection of the optimum topology sensor network for estimating coverage area with sensor placement in building structural monitoring are addressed. This work is an attempt to fill this gap in high-rise building structural health monitoring application. The result shows that, the sparse topology sensor network provides better performance compared with the dense topology network and would be a good choice for monitoring high-rise building structural health damage.
Social media which support to share information and communicate between online users have recently won great popularity. Of the various social services blogs have played an active role as a community in sharing delivering and exchanging information among individual users who have share similar opinions hobbies and preferences. Based on this cultural phenomenon some companies often take advantage of blogs as a marketing tool to strengthen their public relations or deliver particular information to their costumer. This study is designed to classify fashion-related blogs and define the characteristics of each type expecting significant influences on future studies on this topic. We selected 50 fashion-related blogs as subjects including 25 Korean blogs and the same number of international blogs, defined their characteristics and classified them into four different types. As the result we found that there are apparent differences between the four types of blogs: "Individual taste" blogs which noticeably reflect bloggers' own preference "Trend leader" blogs in which the bloggers intend to be trend leaders beyond expressing their preference "Fashion media" blogs which plays a significant role as a magazine by providing various information concerning fashion for costumers and "Sales promotion" blogs which are used as promotional materials to attract customers by providing product reviews or advertisements.
