  • An intelligent home network system using low-power and low-cost sensor nodes was designed and implemented. In Intelligent Home Network System, active home appliances control is composed of RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) based user indoor location tracking, dynamic multi-hop routing, and learning integration remote-control. Through the remote-control learning, home appliances can be controlled in wireless network environment. User location information for intelligent service is calculated using RSSI based Triangle measurement method, and then the received location information is passed to Smoothing Algorithm to reduce error rate. In order to service Intelligent Home Network, moreover, the sensor node is designed to be held by user. The gathered user data is transmitted through dynamic multi-hop routing to server, and real-time user location & environment information are displayed on monitoring program.

  • The intrusion detection system is one of the active fields of research in wireless networks. Intrusion detection in wireless mobile Ad hoc network is challenging because the network topologies is dynamic, lack centralization and are vulnerable to attacks. This paper is about the effective enhancement of the IDS technique that is being implemented in the mobile ad hoc network and deals with security and vulnerabilities issues which results in the better performance and detection of the intrusion.

  • In this paper, applications of wavelet neural network controller to position control of nonlinear system are considered. Wavelet neural network is used in the objectives which improve the efficiency of LQR controllers. It is possible to make unstable nonlinear systems stable by using LQR(Linear Quadratic Regulator) technique. And, in order to be adapted to disturbance effectively in this system it uses wavelet neural network controller. Applying this method to the position control of nonlinear system, its usefulness is verified from the results of experiment.

  • In the hyper-connected network, which network equipment is diverse and network structure is complex, the attack surface has also increased. In this environment, MTD(Moving Target Defense) technology is being researched as a method to fundamentally defend against cyber attacks by actively changing the attack surface. network-based MTD technologies are being widely studied. However, in order for network address mutation technology to be applied within the existing fixed IP-based system, research is needed to determine what impact it will have. In this paper, we studied the impact of applying network address mutation technology to the existing network protection system. As a result of the study, factors to be considered when firewall, NAC, IPS, and network address mutation technologies are operated together were derived, and elements that must be managed in network address mutation technology for interoperability with the network analysis system were suggested.

  • Wireless Sensor Networks will revolutionize applications such as environmental monitoring, home automation, and logistics. We developed forest fire surveillance system. In this paper, Considering the fact that in Korea, during November to May, forest fires occur very frequently causing catastrophic damages on the valuable environment, Although exists other forest fire surveillance system such as surveillance camera tower, infrared ray sensor system and satellite system. Preexistence surveillance system can't real-time surveillance, monitoring, database and automatic alarm. But, forest fire surveillance system(FFSS) support above. In this paper, we describes a system development approach for a wireless sensor network based FFSS that is to be used to measure temperature and humidity as well as being fitted with a smoke detector. Such a device can be used as an early warning fire detection system and real-time surveillance in the area of a bush fire or endangered public infrastructure. Once the system has being development, a mesh network topology will be implemented with the chosen sensor node with the aim of developing a sophisticated mesh network.

  • We develop an intelligent information system in a multilayer electronic supply chain network. Using the internet for supply chain management (SCM) is a key interest for contemporary managers and researchers. It has been realized that the internet can facilitate SCM by making real time information available and enabling collaboration between trading partners. Here, we propose a multi-agent system to analyze the performance of the elements of a supply network based on the attributes of the information flow. Each layer consists of elements which are differentiated by their performance throughout the supply network. The proposed agents measure and record the performance flow of elements considering their web interactions for a dynamic route selection. A dynamic programming approach is applied to determine the optimal route for a customer in the end-user layer.

  • This article investigates the topology control problem in the space information network (SIN) using a hierarchical autonomous system (AS) approach. We propose an AS network topology control (AS-TC) algorithm to minimize the time delay in the SIN. Compared with most existing approaches for SIN where either the purely centralized or the purely distributed control method is adopted, the proposed algorithm is a hybrid control method. In order to reduce the cost of control, the control message exchange is constrained among neighboring sub-AS networks. We prove that the proposed algorithm achieve logical k-connectivity on the condition that the original physical topology is k-connectivity. Simulation results validate the theoretic analysis and effectiveness of the AS-TC algorithm.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a dynamic DSS (Decision Support System) interfaced with GIS (Geographic Information System) and agriculture information network, In this study, DSS was developed to assist services which required tremendous and real time data in national scale. The data transmitte'd from the local area by the agriculture network were stored in DBMS (Data Base Management System) and analyzed by GIS. GIS and database tools used in this study were ARC/INFO 7.1.1 and INFORMIX 4.0. ACSAS (Agriculture Calamity Service Asist System) by the system prototype was constructed to solve the problem about the drought counterplan service which was to take the responsibility in the Ministry of Agriculture. It was easy to transfer, process, and analyze the information using the system. Specially, the meteological, the reservoir storage rate and the drought counterplan information were spatially analyzed by the functions of GIS.
