Evolutionary acquisition is an alternative to the grand design acquisition approaches. It has activities to make it possible to develop quickly and respond flexibly to changing customer needs and technological opportunities. The Ministry of Defense adopted an evolutionary strategy to acquire defense information systems. but it does not work well always. We look at problems from aspects of acquisition system and project management. We benchmark successful cases for evolutionary acquisition strategy in the DoD, the pubic and the private sector. We suggest an evolutionary strategy for defense information systems. The evolutionary strategy in this study includes an evolutionary acquisition framework, an evolutionary acquisition process, and an evolutionary acquisition guideline for defense information systems. The evolutionary strategy can help to implement evolutionary acquisition process for defense information system, and the process can increase the success rate of projects.

Since the period of a spreading code in DS/SS communication systems is generally long, it is necessary to make the code acquisition as fast as possible. The code acquisition time can be sued as a measure to evaluate the performance of code acquisition systems. The search rate of serial search codee acquisition system used in the coventional CDMA cellular system is lower than that of the matched filter technique. In order to reduce the code acquisition time, this paper proposes hybrid code acquisition system composed filters combined with serial search blocks. In the proposed system, the matched filter sweeps possible code phases fast and the acquired phase information is verified by the serial search block. The mean and the variance of its acquisition time are calculated and compared with those of double dwell serial search system. The results indicate better performance of the proposed system by yielding its small vaues of the mean and the variance of code acquisition time.

The types of service using location Information are being various and extending it's domain as wireless internet technology is developing and it's application part is widespread, so it is prospected that LBS (Location-Based Services) will be killer application in wireless internet services. This location information is basic and high value-added information, and this information services make prior GIS (Geography Information System) to be useful to anybody. The acquisition of this location information from moving object is very important part for these LBS. After this, when LBS is familiar to everybody, we can predict that LBS system load is so heavy for the acquisition of so many subscribers and vehicles. Moving object database (MODB) system manages objects like subscribes and vehicles that are moving and have telecommunication terminal checked one's location. MODB is consists of 4 part, moving object location acquisition part, moving object location storage part, moving object query processing part, and moving object application p art. In this MODB system, acquisition of moving object location part must provide guarantee location information as well as reduce telecommunication overhead. In this paper, we study of problems in acquisition a huge number o f moving objects location and design some acquisition strategies to reduce telecommunication overhead. And after implementation these strategies, we estimate performance of this system and quality of information.

This research is part of the development of Data Acquisition embedded system that specifically use in ship. The purpose of this data acquisition system mainly is to acquire data from multiple sensors or others related external devices and it will further discuss in this paper. The data collecting, hardware design, software design and the final project outcome of this data acquisition system will be discussed in this paper.

In this paper, we developed an outdoor augmented reality system which has remote real scences acquisition ability. The real scenes acquisition system consists of image acquisition system, tracking system, wireless data transceiver and power supply. Tracking system that consists of Tans Vector and RT-20 measures a position and attitude of the CCD camera that attached at the remote control helicopter. Wireless data transceiver system is utilized for data transmission of remote system that of attitude, position information, andreal scenes data that acquired by the CCD camera. Maximum propelling power of remote control helicopter is 15Kg, so we used 7.2V li-ion cell as a power supply for system minimize. As the results of experiment, the developing system presented application possibility of remote information acquisition system such as construction simulation & estimation, broadcasting, tour guide.

본 논문에서는 DS CDMA 시스템에서 다중안테나를 이용한 옹기획득 시스템을 제안하고 있다 기존의 다중안테나를 이용한 옹기획득 방식은 다중안테나 결항을 이용한 방법과 고정 다중빔 형성을 이용한 직렬동기획득방식 등이 있다. 그런데, 본 논문에서는 고정 다중빔 형성을 이용한 히이브리드 동기획득 방식을 제안하고 있다. 수치 해석 결과로는 다경로 Raylelgh 페이딩 채널에서 옹기획득시간 측면에서 두 방식에 대한 동기획득 성능을 비교하고 있다.

이 연구는 6개 사립대학 도서관으로 구성된 부산·경남지역 대학도서관 정보교류협의회의 외국학술잡지 분담수서시스템 운영 실태를 분석하였다. 먼저 분담수서의 이론적 배경을 살펴보았으며, 그리고 이 협의회가 운영하는 분담수서시스템의 개발과정, 운영방법, 현황을 조사하고 분석하였고 이를 바탕으로 그 효과 및 문제점과 유용성을 규명하였다.

In the analysis, we consider the effect of the acquisition sequence, and deployment scenario of the abundant multipath components over the small coverage of the piconet in DS-UWB system. Based on the simulation, we obtain various performance on the mean acquisition time by varying the parameters, such as the total number of hypotheses to be searched, subgroup size, and dwell time. Then, we suggest the optimum parameter set for the initial acquisition in DS-UWB system.
