  • Starting with 21st Century, the role of the design has been widened and designers began to regard the psychological and behavioral factors as main design considerations. These factors are the core elements especially in designing interactive space. This research proposed the user-centered design methodology for interactive space. It developed Programming Process for Supporting Interactive Behaviors. To compose the process, this research analyzed the influential factors on the interactivity and the results were applied on the process. This newly proposed Programming Process contains four basic stages which are 'Opportunity Identification Cell', 'Intersubject Cell', 'Interaction & Interface Cell', and 'Programming Solution Cell'. More detailed tasks are also specified for each stage. This research asserts that the design process for Interactive space should differ from the past design processes in the fact that it puts much more attention on systemizing the psychological and behavioral elements than before. Therefore the design process for Interactive space should be reinforced with the data related to these psychological and behavioral understandings. The Programming Process of this paper is an attempt to enlarge the roles of these data in designing interactive space, and thus it is an attempt to accommodate the contemporary user-centered design paradigm.

  • Stone pagoda structures have continued to be aged due to the combination of various damage factors. However, some studies on nonstructural damage have been carried out, but assessment studies on structural damage have not been done in various ways. Therefore, in this study, structural and nonstructural influencing factors according to the damage types are classified and the damage assessment according to the structural influencing factors affecting the behavior of the stone pagoda structure is performed. In addition, the damage rating classification criteria for each type of structural damages or damage locations are presented, and the damage index is calculated by providing the criteria for the classification of damage according to the degree of damage to which the damage is caused. Therefore, this study can evaluate quantitatively the damage status of stone pagoda structures.

  • This study was performed to find out the influence of experimental factors on dehumidification performance and furthermore to suggest an optimal combination of factors of a total heat exchanger in a solar air conditioning system. The experimental apparatus was set up in a climate-controlled chamber where the temperature and humidity was maintained constant. In order to find out the contribution ratio of factors on dehumidification performance, the table of orthogonal arrays $L_8(2^7)$ was used. According to the results, the most influential factor on dehumidification performance was the concentration of LiCl(Lithium Chloride) solution. The next influential factors were the temperature of LiCl solution and the air flow rate. The packed layer height, packed material, and flow rate of LiCl solution had no influence on the dehumidification performance under these experimental conditions. Through the three level experiments of $L_{27}(3^{13})$, it was found that the optimal combination was $A_2B_0G_2$(concentration of solution 30 wt%, temperature of solution $15^{\circ}C$, air flow rate $253m^3/h$).

  • To investigate an effect of dietary sodium and potassium on blood pressure, 418 adolescents living in Kangwha area were studied. Two measurements were taken on each blood pressure(diastolic, systolic) and the average of the two readings was used in the analysis. Sodium and potassium intake were estimated by the determination of those electrolytes in 24hr urine. Not only dietary factors but also physical growth factors such as weight, height, arm-circumference and skinfold-thickness were induced in the stepwise multiple regression analysis to indentify the relative importance between the factors. The variation of blood pressure both in systolic and diastolic in both sexes was inconsistent with the levels of sodium and potassium intake. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that the physical growth were more influential than nutrient factor. It suggested that hypertension risk factors observed form the adults, may not be identical with that of the growing aged population. After control of the physical growth, there was no significant variation observed by the level of sodium and potassium intake on blood pressure. In summary, the results indicate that growth has been more influential than dietary factor on blood pressure for growing aged population.

  • The purpose of our this research, based on the Media Selection Theory, the Technology Acceptance Model, and the Social Influence Theory, is to investigate the influential factors that affect media selection in banking transactions. Analyses showed that for location sensitive bank window's and ATMs (automatic teller machines), defined as offline-based transaction channels, convenience was the variable affecting media selection. However, in the case of online media not related to location, (phone banking, internet banking, and mobile banking) reliability was the significant variable influencing use. The findings show that banking organizations may benefit from identifying traits of media affecting use, and should differentiate customer services for competitive advantage.
