Sales forecasting is crucial for many retail operations. For apparel retailers, accurate sales forecast for the next season is critical to properly manage inventory and plan their supply chains. The challenge in this increases because apparel products are always new for the next season, have numerous variations, short life cycles, long lead times, and seasonal trends. In this study, a sales forecasting model is proposed for apparel products using machine learning techniques. The sales data pertaining to outerwear items for four years were collected from a Korean sports brand and filtered with outliers. Subsequently, the data were standardized by removing the effects of exogenous variables. The sales patterns of outerwear items were clustered by applying K-means clustering, and outerwear attributes associated with the specific sales-pattern type were determined by using a decision tree classifier. Six types of sales pattern clusters were derived and classified using a hybrid model of clustering and decision tree algorithm, and finally, the relationship between outerwear attributes and sales patterns was revealed. Each sales pattern can be used to predict stock-keeping-unit-level sales based on item attributes.

The purpose of this paper is to identify keywords related to museums, gamification, and visitors, and provide basic data that the museum market can be expanded by using gamification. That used to collect data for blogs, news, cafes, intellectuals, academic information by Naver and Daum which is Web documents in Korea, and Google Web, news, Facebook, Baidu, YouTube, and Twitter for analysis. For the data analysis period, a total of one year of data was selected from April 16, 2020 to April 16, 2021, after Corona. For data collection and analysis, the frequency and matrix of keywords were extracted through Textom, a social matrix site, and the relationship and connection centrality between keywords were analysed and visualized using the Netdraw function in the UCINET6 program. In addition, We performed CONCOR analysis to derive clusters for similar keywords. As a result, a total of 25,761 cases that analysing the keywords of museum, gamification and visitors were derived. This shows that the museum, gamification, and spectators are related to each other. Furthermore, if a system using gamification is developed for museums, the museum market can be developed.

The study classifies and analyzes the lower-body-shape types of female adolescents aged 14 to 16 years to provide meaningful information for making ready-to-wear patterns that are suitable for various female adolescent body types. The body-size data of 830 females aged 14 to 16 years were analyzed from 6th Size Korea anthropometric study. A factor analysis of 27 measurement items related to the lower body extracted 3 factors: waist/upper legs, height of the lower body, and hip area. A cluster analysis classified the female adolescent lower-body types into four clusters: the skinny body type with the shortest lower-body length, the most obese body type with the largest girth, the normal body type with the longest hip length, and the slender body type with the longest lower-body length. The discriminant analysis determined that nine measurement items had the most influence on classifying lower-body-shape types, and discriminant functions were derived. These results are meaningful because they provide more precise information about lower-body-shape types.

Sports paradigm shift gave an opportunity to transform into production-oriented industry activities creating high value-added. Sports industrial cluster, organic union of qualitative industries producing and distributing of various sports derivative products, is necessary system in these sports paradigm shift. This study is intended to suggest the definition, construction, and direction for future of sports industrial cluster. In order to ensure the sustainable growth of sports industrial cluster, a growth strategy such as switching to the sementic cluster is needed. And the direction for future of sports industrial cluster were as following; finding the growth engine sports industry field according to the convergence, systematically promoting by setting the medium and long term development goals, constructing a wide industrial region for global competitiveness of sports industry.

To understand the response of cancer cells to anticancer drugs at the gene expression level, we examined the gene expression changes in response to five anticancer drugs, 5-fluorouracil, cytarabine, cisplatin, paclitaxel, and cytochalasin D in NCI-H460 human lung cancer cells. Of the five drugs, 5-fluorouracil had the most distinctive gene expression signature. By clustering genes whose expression changed significantly, we identified three clusters with unique gene expression patterns. The first cluster reflected the up-regulation of gene expression by cisplatin, and included genes involved in cell death and DNA repair. The second cluster pointed to a general reduction of gene expression by most of the anticancer drugs tested. A number of genes in this cluster are involved in signal transduction that is important for communication between cells and reception of extracellular signals. The last cluster represented reduced gene expression in response to 5-fluorouracil, the genes involved being implicated in DNA metabolism, the cell cycle, and RNA processing. Since the gene expression signature of 5-fluorouracil was unique, we investigated it in more detail. Significance analysis of microarray data (SAM) identified 808 genes whose expression was significantly altered by 5-fluorouracil. Among the up-regulated genes, those affecting apoptosis were the most noteworthy. The down-regulated genes were mainly associated with transcription-and translation-related processes which are known targets of 5-fluorouracil. These results suggest that the gene expression signature of an anticancer drug is closely related to its physiological action and the response of caner cells.

In line with the government's policies for localization, furniture industry in the northern area in Gyeoggi-province at presence has been operated by several furniture industrial complexes in the region in small scale, but now it should be considered from overall view of furniture industry in order to develop more competitive industry. As a matter of this fact, Gyeonggi-province should be engaged in planning to make various industrial clusters of the furniture-related industry based on the northern area of province at structural as well as politic aspects, with the help of the analyzed status of the current furniture industry in region, in supporting them by the systemized policies and developing the overall program to foster furniture as an international-competitive industry. Therefore this study suggested 'furniture industry center' which will exclusively handle and maintain the network of each furniture company in the northern area of Gyeonggi-province and 'high-tech furniture industry complex' to keep pace with the globalization and to be competitive internationally and also 'common brand business' for the cooperation at technical phase. In order to realize and vitalize such suggestions, it is urgently necessary that the network consists of the furniture companies and the expert of the related department in local universities as the main body for furniture industry, of course Gyeonggi-province as well.

Overseas advanced countries are aware of the importance of research equipment and are providing a lot of policy support to revitalize the research equipment industry. However, Korea does not have any law to support policies or related projects to revitalize the research equipment industry. Therefore, there is an urgent need for legislation to support policies and projects for revitalizing research equipment industry. It is considered necessary to establish a separate special law for revitalizing the research equipment industry so that it can gain competitiveness in the global market of the research equipment industry. As we have seen, the necessary articles in the relevant laws should be specified so that various promotion policies can be developed to foster the research equipment industry. In order to promote the development of research equipment industry, there are three essential items to be specified in the law. First is research and development support, second is infrastructure development, and third is business incubation. The following contents should be included in each contents. First of all, "research and development support" includes research and envelopment project promotion and support policy items, research equipment development trends and investment trends, joint research between industry, academia, And research and development support for fusion, hybrid and commercialization. Next, the items to be included in "infrastructure development" should include the establishment of research equipment clusters, related support items, training of professional manpower, and research equipment development base area and institutions. Finally, the items that should be included in "business incubation." include support matters for the development of excellent companies (priority purchase system, etc.), matters related to technology transfer and marketing, matters concerning the protection of intellectual property, And matters for promoting overseas expansion.

In this study, text mining and main path analysis (MPA) were applied to understand the origins and development paths of research areas that make up the mainstream of Korean studies. To this end, a quantitative analysis was attempted based on digital texts rather than the traditional humanities research methodology, and the main paths of Korean studies were extracted by collecting documents related to Korean studies including citation information using a citation database, and establishing a direct citation network. As a result of the main path analysis, two main path clusters (Korean ancient agricultural culture (history, culture, archeology) and Korean acquisition of English (linguistics)) were found in the key-route search for the Humanities field of Korean studies. In the field of Korean Studies Humanities and Social Sciences, four main path clusters were discovered: (1) Korea regional/spatial development, (2) Korean economic development (Economic aid/Soft power), (3) Korean industry (Political economics), and (4) population of Korea (Sex selection) & North Korean economy (Poverty, South-South cooperation).

The paper reports on a systematic literature review results concerning the smart factory research in Korea. 144 papers were identified from the articles published in Korean journals listed in the Korean citation index by keyword search related to smart factory. Bibliometric analyses were conducted by way of co-occurrence and network analysis using the VOSViewer. Automation, intelligence, and bigdata were identifed as three critical clusters of research while, operating systems, international policy and cases, concept analysis as other three clusters of research. Internet of Things turned out to be a key technology of smart factory linking all of these areas. Servitization studies were small in numbers but seemed to have a lot of potential. Security researches seemed to be lacking connections with other areas of studies. Results of this study can be used as a milestone for identifying future research issues in smart factories.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of consumer's ethical consumption consciousness and lifestyle on sustainable fashion. The data was analyzed by reliability analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, and multiple regression. The major results of this study were as follows. First, three factors of sustainable fashion were identified: eco-friendliness, recycling, and safety. Second, three factors of ethical consumption consciousness were identified: social ethics, environmental ethics, and public ethics. Based on these factors, the subjects were categorized into three clusters (high, middle, and low ethical consumption consciousness group). Third, four factors of life style were identified: pursuit of brand, appearance, cautiousness, and information. Based on these four factors, the subjects were categorized into three clusters (brand/appearance, cautiousness/information, and unconcerned group). Fourth, three factors of ethical consumption consciousness significantly influenced eco-friendliness factor of sustainable fashion. Also, the recycling factor of sustainable fashion was influenced by social ethics, environmental ethics, pursuit of brand, and pursuit of information. The safety factor of sustainable fashion was influenced by environmental ethics, public ethics, and pursuit of information. The results of this study suggest that practical and various environmental education need to be provided to consumers, because high environmental ethical consciousness consumers evaluated sustainable fashion positively. Additionally, accurate information on eco-friendliness, recycling, and safety of clothing products would need to be provided by fashion businesses through various routes, because those with information-pursuing lifestyle were found to have deep interests in sustainable fashion.
