  • 급속하게 확산되어온 ICT 기술과 다양한 산업의 융합은 현대를 살아가는 개개인이 느끼지 못하는 사이에 기존 산업의 패러다임을 허물고 풍요로운 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 해준다. 이는 개인의 삶에 대한 영향뿐만이 아니고 사회와 국가의 수준과 경쟁력을 높여주는 원동력이 되고 있다. 현대 산업사회는 복잡성이 증대되고 있고 필요한 지식의 양은 날로 늘어나고 있으며, ICT 기술은 계속 진화하고 있다. 이에 따라 새로운 비즈니스 모델이 창출되고 있고 경쟁력 없는 기존의 사업은 자연 도태되며, 기존 산업의 변화 혹은 새로운 산업을 위한 생태계가 구축된다. 최근의 융합 환경에서 시도되는 신규 사업과 경쟁의 질서는 불확실성의 리스크에 노출되기가 쉽다. 이러한 변화는 기존 산업의 몰락을 촉진하거나 새로운 비즈니스 모델의 창출로 이어진다. 변화의 중심에는 디지털 전환(Digital Transformation)과 ICT 융합이 있다. 이러한 현상이 가져오는 사회와 산업의 변화를 분석하고 ICT 융합 산업 경쟁력 확보를 위한 발전방향, 전략 및 추진방안에 대하여 연구한다.

  • The furniture industry in Korea is characterized by its 42.6% of concentration in Gyeonggi Metropolitan area. When taking a look at the representative furniture complexes including Maseok, Ilsan, and Eojeong, the furniture complexes and stores were spontaneously generated at the outskirts of a city whose land cost is relatively cheap. As a consequence, they tend to be jumbled up and face to be moved or contracted forcefully owing to the new town development plan of Metropolitan areas. In contrast, Italia that is one of the advanced country in furniture industry, cultivates and develops furniture complexes in Brianza district by supporting them oriented in the metropolis Milano while hosting large-scale furniture exhibitions. Such attempts have advanced the position of the italian furniture industry into the most leading figure. In this extent, the furniture industry in Korea that is a traditional industry of Gyeonggi Province has to device a political measure and systematic measure for its cultivation as a way to secure the foundation to develop a high value-added product and foster its competitiveness. Such movements are suggested for the development of the furniture industry in Gyeonggi Province.

국산 자동차 부품산업의 국제경쟁력 분석에 관한 연구 - 미국시장 수출 집중도 및 경쟁력을 중심으로 - (A Study on the International Competitiveness of Korean Auto Parts Industry - Focus on the Exporting Concentration and Competitiveness in U.S. Market -)

  • Korean auto mobile industry has been contributed to development on national economy for last 30 years. Especially, The fact is that latest increasement of Korean automobile selling is worthy of notice in U.S. market which is the biggest automobile market of the world. But development of automobile industry unattainable nothing of helping of auto parts industry. So, when we discuss about growth of automobile industry, we also have to consider role of auto parts industry at the same time. The purpose of this study was to analyze exporting competition of Korean auto parts in U.S. market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the Korean auto parts which exported to U.S. market and the world by using the six units classification of the Harmonized System(HS). Also we measured Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. Analyzing period was 1998-2004. The results of Index of Export Bias indicated that HS Code No. 8708.50, 8708.91 represented over 3 numerical value and 8708.92, 8708.60, 8708.39, 8708.29 represented over 2 numerical value. Additional results indicated that the Korean auto parts which gained exporting competition in the U.S. market were HS Code No. 8708.70, 8708.93, 8708.92. The products which will have exporting competition in the U.S. market would be HS Code No. 8708.99,

Analysis of International Competitiveness in the Aircraft Industry

  • Purpose - The main target to do this analysis is to find out the competitiveness between 2 countries (China and USA) in the aircraft business industry. The main target about mentioned research is to find out how a certain country takes more advantage against the other partner country in the country's trade structure. Research design, data, and methodology - Mentioned research period ranges from 1995 to 2016. Research basic data are coming from UN COMTRADE database which is top of top in the world statistical data and Research methods are used 3 types of international trade related theory for credible data outcomes. Results - Even though general data about aircraft industry are open to world society, detailed classified data are not easy to get them. Generally, Both China & USA are not easy to obtain data especially, in the overseas production field as a business secret which is one of research limitation in every research scopes. Conclusions - Even though Chinese aircraft industry looks like strong and more advantage against those of other countries based on competitive labor work wages and low price of raw material and resources, Actually, USA has overwhelmingly dominant advantage against that of China in the field of aircraft industry because USA has abundant capitals and up-to-date advanced high-technology as top of world economic communities. Additionally, even if USA aircraft industries hold a dominant position so far, if USA proposes sound competition relationship with China about aircraft industry, both 2 countries' future will be bright as their cooperation will make synergy effects for mutual benefits under current circumstances in 2 countries.

미얀마 의류 무역결합도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Trade Intensity of Garments in Myanmar)

  • 본 연구는 미얀마 의류산업에 있어 미얀마의 주요 수출대상국인 한국과 일본, 인접국이며 경제제재 이후로 미얀마와 지속적인 거래관계를 유지해오고 있는 중국, 태국을 선정해 의류산업 상호경쟁력을 살펴보고, 주요 의류상품별 무역결합도를 분석해 향후 미얀마 의류산업의 현실을 직시한 경쟁력있는 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 이에 한국은 미얀마와 섬유산업에 있어 유사한 경쟁력을 가지고 있는 국가와의 차이점에 따른 미얀마의 장점을 인식하고 한국이 미얀마 섬유산업에 있어 노동인력 양성, 산업관계 강화, 안전시설 강화, 건전한 노사관계 정립등 대책을 통한 미래지향적인 의류산업으로 발전할수 있어야 한다.

Distribution of Competitiveness of Copper Industry: The Case of Kazakhstan

  • Purpose: The purpose of the research is identified factors influencing the competitiveness of the copper industry in Kazakhstan. Research design, data and methodology: A few studies are dedicated to the analysis in developing countries, particularly Kazakhstan. The algorithm was chosen for research provision: statistical and comparative analysis, correlation, and regression analysis. The data of 1999-2021 obtained from the World Bank, Bureau of National Statistics, National Bank of Kazakhstan. Results: The obtained results demonstrate the trends in the development of the industry since 2000. The development of the copper industry is strongly influenced by the distribution and state of the business environment, economic situation, and trends in the global commodity markets. Conclusions: According to econometric modeling, there is a correlation between the profitability of the copper industry, GDP, copper prices, liquidity, and energy resource prices. Trends in global commodity and energy markets have a significant impact on the state of the industry. Further research should be conducted to include an analysis and forecast of internal factors that may affect the development of the industry, such as copper reserves, condition of fixed assets, government programs, etc. It is also important to examine the correlation with the trends in the development of the global green economy and the revival of the Chinese market.

한.중간 무역경쟁력 분석 -섬유.전기전자.운송.기계산업을 중심으로- (An Analysis on Trade Competitiveness between Korea and China)

  • First, the trade competitiveness of the textile industries in South Korea has been weakening, whereas, the counterpart in China has been growing as the main export industries. Second, the trade competitiveness of the mechanics industries in South Korea has been increasing and appearing as the new promising strategic export industries. And, the counterpart in China also shows that it has been rising, while the country’s level of the imports specialization index has been weakening. Third, the trade competitiveness of the transportation industries in South Korea has been rising as the export-oriented and at the same time, privileged industries. And, China has also been rising as South Korea has been in the case, whereas, imports specialization index has been weakening. Fourth, the trade competitiveness of the electrical and electronic industries in South Korea has relatively been at the very high level, giving rise to the core export-privileged industries in the South Korea. And, China has been emerging as the new strategic export industries, as its industry structure has been shifted from the import- specialization and export-specialization industries. Fifth, it is indicated that the trade in the both South Korean and Chinese industries of fable materials, mechanics goods for computer & office, and goods for electric mechanics has been going favorable and brisk.

The Impact of Product Consumption Strategy and Financial Autonomy on Competitiveness of Technology Firms in Vietnam

  • This study aims to determine the impact of product consumption strategy and financial autonomy on the competitiveness of technology firms in Vietnam. This study employs panel data of 27 technology firms collected from listed financial statements of the business for the period (2010-2019). The study also uses some indicators reflecting the macroeconomic situation of the economy collected from the World Bank. Instead of Exploratory Factor Analysis which has been used before, the study uses the feasible generalized least squares (FGLS) estimation as the main method. The FGLS corrects the variance changes and autocorrelation on the dataset of these Vietnamese technology firms. The results reveal that the strategy of product consumption and financial autonomy positively affect the competitiveness of technology firms. These are also two core factors of the technology industry, which have a strong impact on the increase in the competitiveness of firms. The findings of this study suggest that technology firms do not need to invest in many long-term assets, but mainly in short-term assets in order to quickly respond to the strategies for consuming new technology products of the business. In addition, the increase in Gross Domestic Product per capita also positively affects the increase in the competitiveness of technology firms.

한국 실크산업의 경쟁력 재고를 위한 운영관리전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on Operations Strategy and Competitiveness in the Korean Silk Industry)

  • 한국 실크산업은 수요 감소와 경쟁의 격화로 인해 심각한 도전을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실크산업의 현황을 이해하고 그 경쟁력을 정확히 파악하기 위해 경남 진주지역의 대표적인 실크생산 업체들을 방문하여 설문 및 심층면접조사를 수행하여 관련 기업들의 운영상의 문제점들을 조사하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 경영자들이 제품디자인과 소재에 관련된 개발 필요성은 많이 이해하고 있었으나 기업 운영관리상의 문제에 대해서는 중요성을 충분히 이해하지 못하고 있음을 파악할 수 있었다. 연구결과 국내 실크산업의 경쟁력 회복을 위해서는 공급과잉상태인 한복지 생산기업들을 양장지, 수출용 원단 등의 생산기업으로 유도함으로써 산업 전체의 생산능력을 조정할 필요가 있으며, 원가의 절감과 재고의 감소, 소량 주문 추세 등에 대응할 수 있도록 공급체인의 유연성 증대가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 공급체인에서 유통업체들과의 협력체제의 구축과 정보의 교환을 통한 마케팅 능력의 향상이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

관광종사원의 인턴십 평가가 취업경쟁력에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Internship Evaluation Factors on the Employment Competitiveness)

  • 현재 현장에서 종사하고 있는 정규직 종사자들의 입장에서 인턴십 평가를 통한 인턴십 과정생들이 얻을 수 있는 잠재적 편익을 최대화 할 수 있도록 교육자들에게 기초자료를 제공함은 물론 인턴십 교육방향에 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 더 나아가서는 본 연구가 각각의 이해집단에게 인턴십 교육의 운용을 마케팅적 사고로 전환하여 교육 소비자 즉, 학생과 산업체의 의견이 적극적으로 반영된 교육체계로 변신함으로써 급변하는 교육환경속에서 관광산업의 경쟁력을 확보하는데 도움을 줄 수 있기를 기대한다. 이에 본 연구결과를 종합해 보면, 첫째, 인턴십 평가요인으로 규율성, 적극성, 기술력, 업무수행능력, 과제물, 탐구력, 지식성, 협조성, 이해력 등으로 평가요인임을 규명하였다. 둘째, 인턴십 평가요인은 인턴십 교육효과(적극성, 탐구력, 규율성) 및 취업경쟁력(규율성, 적극성, 협조성)에 긍정적 영향력을 미치는 것으로 분석되어 본 연구의 목적을 달성하였다고 볼 수 있다. 마지막으로 산업체에서는 학습능력보다는 조직과 융화할 수 있는 인재를 원하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.
