The reducers are widely used to reduce output speed and to amplify driving torque of actuator for industrial robots and many industrial units. But the vibration of robot, which is affected by the reducer, becomes a problem for robot which has to move a driven part with high accuracy. This paper compares experimentally the vibration characteristics of the reducer for industrial robot.

Generally industrial multi-articulated robots are used for parts assembly, welding, and painting processes. The high flexibility of them is very useful to not only parts assembly, welding, and painting processes, but also machining processes. But because of machining processes to need a high stiffness of machine structure, so machining is usually not tried at them, except deburring processes now. During past three years the works are carried out to improve the stiffness of a industrial multi-articulated robot With some gas spring as a first idea in this research area. As a result of that stiffness was significantly up, and found and investigated the machining possibility at it.
This paper describes a method for tracking attitude and position of underwater robots. Underwater work with underwater robots is subject to differences in work efficiency depending on the skill of the operator and the utilization of additional sensors. Therefore, this study developed an underwater robot that can operate autonomously and maintain a certain attitude when working underwater to reduce difference of work efficiency. The developed underwater robot uses 8 thrusters to control 6 degrees of freedom motion, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), DVL (Doppler Velocity Log) and PS (Pressure Sensor) to measure attitude and position. In addition, the thruster allocation algorithm was designed to follow the control desired value using 8 thrusters, and the motion control experiments were performed in the engineering water basin using the thruster allocation method.
The paper presents a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) system designed for satellite movement testing in the microgravity environment on the ground with two industrial robots. Especially, the paper deals with the contact between satellites during rendezvous and docking simulations of satellites using a robotic HILS system. For this purpose, the admittance control method plays a core role in preventing damage to the satellite or robot from contact force between satellites. The coordinate frames are transformed into the mass center of the satellite and the admittance control at the level of exponential coordinates is adopted to actively use the properties of Lie groups related to tracking errors. These methods effectively mitigate the risk of robot damage during inter-satellite contact and ensure efficient tracking performance of satellite movements.

While anthropomorphic robots are gaining interest, dual-arm robots are widely used in the industrial environment. Many methods exist in order to implement bimanual tasks by dual-arm robot. However, kinesthetic teaching is used in this paper. This paper suggests three different kinesthetic teaching methods that can implement most of the human task by the robot. The three kinesthetic teaching methods are joint level, task level, and contact level teaching. The task introduced in this paper is box packing, which is a popular and complex task in industrial environment. The task is programmed into the dual-arm robot by utilizing the suggested kinesthetic teaching method, and this paper claims that most tasks can be implemented by using the suggesting kinesthetic teaching methods.

A single vision system limits the ability to accurately understand the spatial constraints and interactions between robots and dynamic workers caused by gantry robots and collaborative robots during production manufacturing. In this paper, we propose a 3D pose registration method for dynamic workers based on a multi-domain vision system for safety monitoring in manufacturing environments. This method uses OpenPose, a deep learning-based posture estimation model, to estimate the worker's dynamic two-dimensional posture in real-time and reconstruct it into three-dimensional coordinates. The 3D coordinates of the reconstructed multi-domain vision system were aligned using the ICP algorithm and then registered to a single 3D coordinate system. The proposed method showed effective performance in a manufacturing process environment with an average registration error of 0.0664 m and an average frame rate of 14.597 per second.

As the fourth industrial revolution has progressed globally, computing education is progressing centered on robots. However, pre-service teachers' attitudes toward robots were negative in previous studies. In order to solve this problem, this study analyzed the difference in the attitude of the pre-service teachers to the robot according to the factors. The subjects of this study were 309 pre-service teachers attending K university. In order to measure the attitude of the pre-service teacher to the robot, the negative attitude measure for the robot was used. And, in order to measure the attitude of the pre-service teachers to the robots, negative attitude measurement scale was used. As a result, pre-service teachers showed different attitudes toward robots according to gender, experience of robot manipulation, and experiences of robot-related lectures. Especially, when the gender was male than female, and the experience of robot manipulation and the experiences of robot-related lectures, the attitude of pre-service teachers to robot was positive.
Two control strategies are proposed for two arm robots; i.e. position-position control and position-force control. For the proof of these control strategies, the stability analysis is conducted with robot dynamics included. First, the closed form dynamic equation of the robot is derived, then it is transformed into the operational space for further analysis. Finally, Liapunov method is applied to the dynamic equation in operational space.
The laser tracking system(LTS) presents the most promising technique for dynamic position measurement of industrial robots. This system combine the advantage of high accuracy with a contactless measurement technique. It is the measurement system of position in three dimensions using distance data obtained by laser interferometer and real time angle by tracking mirror assembly. After measuring the tracking error of the beam projected on the center of retroreflector in robot end effector, this system tracks the end effector continuously by adjusting tracking mirror angle to minimize this error ...

These days, industrial robots are required to have high speed and high precision in doing various tasks. Recently, the adaptive control algorithms for those nonlinear robots have been developed. With spatial vector space, these adaptive algorithms including recursive implementation are simply described. Without sensing joint acceleration and computing the inversion of inertia matrix, these algorithms which include P.D. terms and feedforward terms have global tracking convergence. In this paper, the feasibility of the proposed control method is illustrated by applying to 2 DOF SCARA robot in DSP(Digital Signal Processing).
