교전급 시뮬레이션 시스템의 통제를 위한 사용자 개입 (User Intervention for Controllable Engagement Simulation System)

  • This paper introduces user intervention to control simulation states during the execution of a simulation for military engagements. In an engagement simulation, it covers both a discrete event system and a continuous state system. Thus a system for the engagement simulation can have numerous simulation states, because there are lots of factors to decide states of an engagement that are derived during an execution of the simulation (e. g. detection probability, moving speed, moving path, and so on). It means both a result and progression of simulations are important outputs. Configuration of an engagement simulation scenario and expectation of simulation states, though, is hindered by the number of generate-able states. In order to solve the obstacle, the engagement simulation system should be controllable by user intervention during a simulation execution. This paper is to define objects of user intervention, and to design control processes of defined objects.

  • Some of the steel works and machine tool manufacturers representing the whole spectrum of these industries in Korea are surveyed with a viewpoint from total quality control. The operation of quality control system in these fields has been found to be unsatisfactory partly because these industries are relatively young compared with those in advanced foreign countries, and partly because there have been insufficient financial and top management support. Some suggestions are made for the improvement of steel and machine tools quality. One of them is introducing the industrial engineering techniques, with additional quality control costs and full management support, into the company-wide quality control system.

  • A new control algorithm using the VSS theory is developed for accurate trajectory control of robot manipulators. This paper focuses on the implementation of VSS controller with smoothing laws in the design of effective tracking control for robotic arms. The VSS controller for multi-linkage robot arm is realized using balance condition and its simplification which possesses powerful smoothing capability to reduce or even remove undesirable chattering and meanwhile keep the robust characteristic to reject system uncertainties. The design principle of selecting different smoothing methods, which aims at achieving trade-off between smoothing and robust behaviors while considering the actual system constraints, is also given and further confirmed through experimental results.

  • This paper presents the development of a simulator for an industrial robot. The simulator is characterized by a fully integrated dynamic model and a hardware oriented control scheme. The dynamic model includes the actuator dynamics as well as the manipulator dynamics to integrate the entire dynamics of the robot system. On the other hand, the control scheme is oriented as a hardware structure which is usually implemented in the industrial robot. That is to say, a conventional PI control law is used to regulate the position, the speed, and the current. A Pulse Wave Modulation (PWM)generator modulates the supplied voltage to the actuator. Since the simulator is consistent with the industrial robot system, it provides the essential design concepts for the development process of the robot. In practice, the simulator is applied to the SCARA robot which has been developed in GSIS. Here, it investigates the characteristics and performance of the robot with changing design parameters. Thus, the investigation furnishes criteria for the selection of acfuator, control gain, trajectory planning, etc.

  • This paper presents the design and development of Web control algorithm of continuous process control system using torque controlled vector inverter. Web algorithm used tension control with the tension sensor, and it is to calculate diameter of motor speed with maintain Web tension. The performance of Web control in this paper is verified by experiment.

  • This paper proposes 210[kVA] rated SIV(Static Inverter) system for the TTX(Tilting Train eXpress). The SIV provides power of a fluorescent light in the car, Air-conditioner, and other equipments. To control output voltage it is used voltage control loop for constant voltage control and simultaneously used current control loop for instantaneous control at load changing. The performance of SIV system will be verified by simulation and experimental results.

  • In the Industrial motor drive system, a torsional vibration is often generated because of the elastic element in torque transmission. Such system is simply modelled as a two-mass system. In this paper, it is proposed control system which is based on the two-degree-of-freedom PI control and resonance ratio control with the $H^{\infty}$ filter which is robust in disturbance and noise. The control performance of the proposed control system are examined by the computer simulation.

  • This paper describes a reference flux angle selection for a vector control in the parallel operation system that consists of a inverter and several induction motors. In particular, this paper suggests which flux angle of motors prefers for the vector control in the train drive system that diameters of wheels are different. Through simulation for a 210[kW] induction motor drive system, it is clear that the vector control by using of the flux angle of a motor having a minimum wheel diameter leads to a minimum torque difference. However, it requires too many current sensors. So, it is shown that the vector control by a average flux angle of motors is preferable.

  • The related industrial technologies are also being developed in medicine, education, the military, transportation, process management, security management and information technology industries due to a rapid progress in telecommunications technology. The supervisory remote control system is based upon telecommunications technology. The supervisory remote control systems are used in various ways such as city gas, water supply and drainage, environment, power, communication and device control fields. The supervisory remort control system became a solution with complex systems and important technologies in electricity, city gas filed that require safety management skills. The supervisory remote control system as a special technology has a lot of practical applications. In this paper, Let me examine the present status of remort control system applications and present development plans and alternatives in city-gas industrial technology.
