Fabrication of Nano-sized Metal Dispersed Magnesia Based Composites and Related Mechanical and Magnetic Properties

  • MgO/metal nanocomposite powder mixtures were prepared by solution chemical processes to obtain suitable structure for ceramic/metal nanocomposites. Nickel or cobalt nitrate, as a source of metal dispersion, was dissolved into alcohol and mixed with magnesia powder. After calcined in air, these powders were reduced by hydrogen. Densified nanocomposites were successively obtained by Pulse Electric Current Sintering (PECS) process. The dispersed metal partical size depended on temperature and time in calcination and reduction processes. The phase analyses in the synthesized powders as a functioni of temperature were tracked using a dynamic high temperature X-ray diffractioni (HTXRD) system. Phase and crystallite size analyses were done using X-ray diffractioni and TEM. The MgO/metal nanocomposites were successfully fabricated, and ferromagnetic responses with enhanced coercive force were also investigated for these composites.

대학의 ISO 9001 : 2000(E) 품질경영시스템 구축 (An Implementation of ISO 9001 : 2000(E) Quality Management System in University)

  • Since ISO 9001 quality system was established in 1987, many companies have adopted it for assuring the quality of their processes. Not only manufacturing companies but service industries such as hospitals, armies, educational institutes, banks are now implementing ISO 9001 quality management system. In this study, we proposed the definitions of customers, manufacturing processes, products, and quality characteristics of the ISO 9001:2000(E) quality management system in university. An implementation procedure of ISO 9001:2000(E) quality management system in university was also suggested. Furthermore, we dealt with the case study of 'C' College's ISO 9001:2000(E) quality management system and showed some of its effects.

유사도 평가 방법론을 이용한 POP 시스템의 구현 (Implementing a POP System using Similarity Evaluation Method)

  • A POP system, which collects manufacturing data from the shop floors and supply them to higher level systems, should be maintained and upgraded according to the change of production environment such as new product introduction. This situation leads to the need of a cost-effective system development methodology. In this paper, a methodology based on the classification and the similarity comparison of manufacturing processes is proposed. In this, a new product is classified according to the similarity of its manufacturing processes, which enables recycling of existing system modules. The proposed methodology has been tested in the case of an electronics parts manufacturing company, where a POP system is implemented. The result shows that the proposed methodology can save time and efforts for system implementation.

  • In this study, refer to cases of domestic flower exporters, important factors for flower export logistics were categorized and analyzed and efficient logistics processes were suggested. According to export profitability and product quality, important factors were categorized as quarantine, costs, lead time. By applying important factors, commonly using route-SHIMONOSEKI, reverse distribution prevented route-HAKATA, Excellent market access routes-OSAKA were analyzed and efficient logistics processes were suggested.

  • 주요 국가기반 산업분야에서 운용중인 제어시스템은 다양한 제어 기능을 수행하고 있으며, 최근 제어시스템에 가해지는 다양한 위협이 가해지고 있는 실정이다. 제어시스템의 안전한 운용을 보증하기 위하여 제어시스템의 안전성을 검증할 수 있는 보증방법의 개발이 절실히 필요하다. 본 연구는 제어시스템의 특성을 반영한 정보보안평가 절차 및 방법론을 제시하고, 체크리스트로 구현을 통해서 절차 및 방법론의 효과성을 검증한다. 동 연구가 제시하는 제어시스템의 정보보안 평가 절차 및 점검체크리스트는 제어시스템 운용자 및 보증 평가자가 제어시스템의 개발 과정 및 운용의 안전성을 담보할 수 있는 보증 활동시에 사용할 수 있다.

  • 산업단지 내 입주기업들의 제조공정에서는 미세먼지 생성 원인물질인 질산화물(NOx), 황산화물(SOx), 휘발성 유기화합물(VOCs) 등이 다양한 형태로 배출되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 효과적인 산업단지 미세먼지 저감을 위해 산재해 있는 공공데이터를 활용하여 산업단지별 특성을 분석하고 미세먼지 감축 기술과 매칭하여 미세먼지를 감축할 수 있는 최적화 감축 방안을 제시하였다. 데이터를 기반으로 한 산업단지 별 맞춤형 기술 및 설비 적용은 미세먼지 전구물질을 공정에서 사전에 감축함으로써 산업단지 미세먼지 뿐만 아니라 제조업 미세먼지 감축을 위한 효과적인 대안이 될 것이다.

Recent instrumentation system safety instrumentation and man-machine interface

  • The industrial processes have become complicated on a large scale bacause of improvement of productivity, research of efficiency, and shortage of locations to be suited for foundation of factories. Consequently, the instrumentation and control systems for operating these industrial processes have also been highly improved with the development of mass information means. In order to operate these large-sized and complicated industrial processes safely, the man-machine interface for correspondence between man and machines and the instrumentation system regarding process fault processing are playing an important role increasingly. This paper describes recent instrumentation system in the water purifying plant as an example of these industrial processes, and covers both man-machine interface and process fault processing. The annual water supply quantity and diffusion were 2, 000, 000, 000m$^{3}$ and 25.0% in 1950 inJapan, but they amounted to 12, 000, 000, 000m$^{3}$ and 86.7% in 1974, respectively. The demands of water will increase incessantly, while it becomes gradually difficult to secure water sources. Accordingly, local self-governing bodies such as municipal cooperation, towns, and villages often construct a large-scale water purifying plant at one place in common, as required, without constructing respective plants independently. It is an absolute requirement for the water purifying plant to avoid stopping water supply to fullfil its social responsibility from the viewpoints of its public utility enterprise, and also it has gradually become difficult to secure skilled operators enough to cover such water purifying plants that are additionally provided in various districts. Thus, the importance of the man-machine interface for assuring safety operation of the water purifying plant irrespective of unskillfulness of operators as well as the instrumentation system regarding process fault processing, or, safety instrumentation, is more and more increasing as the water purifying plants are on a large scale.

국내 주요 산업별 스케줄링 기법의 연구동향 (Research Trends of Scheduling Techniques for Domestic Major Industries)

  • The up-to-date business environment for Korean manufacturers is very complex and rapidly changing. Especially, the companies have faced with various changes derived from small quantity batch production, diversification of customer demands, and short life cycles of products. Consequently, the Korean manufacturing companies are in need of more efficient production planning and scheduling techniques. In this paper, the research trend of scheduling techniques is investigated to provide relevant information to researchers in this field. Furthermore, some implications for future researches are presented regarding literatures published in Korea over the last 10 years. This paper presents an entire investigation into Korean research works on scheduling (2,569 papers) that are published from 2007 to 2016. Especially, detailed analysis was carried out in the following three industry : 1) semiconductor, 2) shipbuilding and 3) automobile. In this paper, approaches to scheduling presented in the literature are categorized into the following three categories : 1) application, 2) algorithm, and 3) simulation modeling. First, in the semiconductor industry, scheduling techniques related to semiconductor cleaning processes, photolithography processes, chemical processes, transport and transport equipment have been found to be dominant. Second, the shipbuilding industry is focused on assembly processes, transporter, crane and various existing production management system. On the other hand, the scheduling research of the automobile industry is mainly focused on the vehicle movement routing and procurement supply-chain planning algorithm in terms of logistics. The conclusion of this study are expected to provide many implications for various types of academic and practical follow-up studies related to scheduling in consideration of main characteristics of semiconductor, shipbuilding and automobile industries.
