유휴시설을 활용한 전시공간 재생디자인 특성에 관한 연구 - 유휴 산업시설과 유휴 비산업시설을 중심으로 - (A Case Study of Rehabilitation Design Characteristics of Exhibition Space from Idle Facilities - Focus on Idle Industrial Facilities and Idle Non-Industrial Facilities -)

  • Industrial paradigm change and awareness change based on development of transportation and communication technology, many idle facilities had been occurred. These idle facilities become the factor which hinder image and environment of the surroundings. In recent years, social, cultural and economic value of idle facilities has been acknowledged and is regarded as an object of rehabilitation as part of urban problem solving. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of recycling design in the exhibition space used as a domestic idle facility and to utilize it as a basic data for creating an exhibition space using idle facilities in the future. The scope of the study was selected from 8 cases which were reproduced as exhibition space within the last 10 years mainly in Seoul and metropolitan area. It is analyzed by five characteristics of historicity, symbolism, preservability, connectivity, and placeness that are analyzed by the characteristics of rehabilitaion design. The conclusion is as follows. First, idle facilities can be divided into idle industrial facilities and idle non - industrial facilities. Second, the analysis of the characteristics of rehabilitaion design of idle facilities showed that the symbolism was much higher than other rehabilitaion design characteristics. Third, as a result of comparative analysis between idle industrial facility exhibition space and idle non - industrial facility exhibition space, historicity, preservability, and connectivity were high in the idle industrial facility exhibition space. In the exhibition space of idle non-industrial facilities, symbolism and placeness were high.

도시유휴부지의 정원조성방안 (Developing Gardens in Urban Idle Space)

  • 본연구는 도시 유휴공간 유형화를 통한 도시 내 정원 조성을 위한 새로운 공간 형태와 특성을 발굴하여 향후 정원 조성 시 활용가능한 가이드라인의 제시 및 그린인프라 확충의 기초자료 구축을 목표로 진행하였다. 그 결과, 도시의 유휴공간은 4개의 유형으로 분류되는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 각 유형별 조성방안에는 차별화를 두어야 한다고 판단하였다. 이러한 본 연구의 성과는 지역사회의 재개발을 통해 지역 사회 혜택 및 도시재생의 기회를 제공하고 지역주민의 건강과 웰빙을 지원할 수 있는 잠재적인 도시생태계서비스의 원천이 될 수 있으며 귀중한 도시경관자원이 될 수 있다. 또한, 도시 유휴공간은 도시생태계의 건강을 지원하고 도시 주민의 삶의 질을 향상시키는 데 사용될 수 있는 그린인프라의 역할로서 소중한 자원이 될 수 있다.

유휴공간의 유형별 재생이 지역 활성화에 미치는 영향 분석 (An Impact Analysis of Idle Space Regeneration Types on Regional Revitalization)

  • 최근 도시재생을 통해 도심 속 유휴공간의 재활용 방안에 한 관심도가 높아지고 있다. 이에 유휴공간을 재생하여 새로운 부가가치를 창출해 내기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행 중이다. 본 연구는 유형별 유휴공간의 재생이 주민 삶의 질과 지역경제 활성화에 어떠한 영향 관계 및 구조를 가지고 있는지 알아보기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구가설은 Smart PLS 3.0 패키지로 적합성 및 통계적 유의성 분석을 실시하여 검증하였다. 연구 결과 총 11개의 가설 중 '경제기반형 PLS 구조모형'에서는 6개의 가설이, '근린재생형 PLS 구조모형'에서는 4개의 가설이 검증되었다. 그 결과를 크게 몇 가지로 요약할 수 있는데, 첫째, 유휴공간의 재생(경제기반형, 근린재생형)을 통해 거주민의 삶의 질과 지역경제활성화를 동시에 만족하려면 문화적 차원에 대한 부문을 공통적으로 고려해야 한다. 둘째, 물리적 차원이 주민 삶의 질에 미치는 영향은 '경제기반형 PLS 구조모형'에서만 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 차원은 '근린재생형 PLS 구조모형'에서만 유의한 것으로 도출되었다. 본 연구는 유휴공간의 재생에 관한 실증 결과를 분석했으며, PLS 구조 모형의 유형별 차이가 존재함을 밝혔다는 것에 의의가 존재한다.

유휴산업시설의 문화재생에 있어 건축계획의 물리적 요소 적용에 대한 연구 (A study on application of architectural design elements in the cultual rehabilitation of idle industrial facilities)

  • 이 연구는 유휴산업시설의 문화재생 사업에 있어 건축계획의 물리적 디자인 요소를 적용하는 방식을 분석하기 위해, 정부에서 시행이 완료되어 운영되고 있는 대표적 유휴산업시설들을 대상으로 문화재생의 주요 평가 지표인 역사성, 상징성, 지속성을 구체화하고 있는 방안을 구조적, 재료적, 자원적 측면에서 보존, 보완, 개조의 틀로서 그 척도를 두어 분석함으로서 현재 문화재생 사업의 건축계획적 적용방식의 유형을 정리하여 이를 향후 새로운 재생 건축계획의 방식으로 확장하는데 기초자료로 활용되도록 한다.

재생 유휴산업시설의 플레이스 브랜딩 방법 분석 (An Analysis of the Place Branding Methods for Regenerated Idle Industrial Facilities)

  • This study aims to suggest the place branding methods applicable for regenerated idle industrial facilities. The place branding methods were analyzed by separating into hard branding methods and soft branding methods, and the results of the study are as follows: As for the hard branding methods, the exterior, outer wall materials and interior materials of the building and industrial equipment are preserved to revive the historicity of the building. In order to organize a differentiated space, it is important to create the convenience space such as cafes, experience space, lounge, and restaurants as well as the space for the operation of the programs. The building itself is utilized as a landmark or the iconic facility such as the winding tower or chimney is utilized as a landmark. As the methods of introducing natural elements, there is a need to create the resting space, law area and water space where trees can be planted and landscape can be viewed, and the development of tourism products utilizing the peripheral resources and the link of programs are also important. As for the soft branding methods, the provision of programs where a variety of art genres and the sense of place are reflected and the programs linked to the region is needed, and the story of place can be shared by storytelling utilizing the work and programs reflecting the sense of place. In addition, the content development and physical improvement of facilities reflecting the needs of visitors and the establishment of the organic collaboration system of a variety of subjects are needed for the sustainability of place.

산업 유휴공간의 문화재생을 통한 지역 변화 비교연구 - 문래동 문래예술공장, 금천구 금천예술공장을 대상으로 - (A Study on The Change of Local through Cultural Regeneration of Industrial Idle Space - Focused on Mullae-dong Mullae Art Factory, Geumcheon-gu Geumcheon Art Factory -)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the plan reflecting the place in cultural regeneration was implemented and whether it was a change of place in culture through culture analyze. Mullae-dong has changed its urban structure into a textile factory, a manufacturing industry, an ironworks+artistic complex, and the Mullae art factory has been organizing a festival that has been created by artists and residents alike in the Mullae creative village. However, prior to the creation of the Mullae art factory in the social element, self-sustaining programs of Mullae creative villages were derived, but now commercial space is mainly derived. Therefore, it is necessary to plan for coexistence of ironworks, cultural space and commercial space rather than expanding into commercial space. Geumcheon-gu Geumcheon-gu Geumcheon Art Factory has become an integrated complex where various industries coexist in industrial complex. Geumcheon Art Factory also holds an artist support program every year and actively works as an international creative exchange center in Seoul. However, programs that act as a mediator are not implemented since 2014, and the Open Studio stops once a year. Therefore, Geumcheon-gu needs to expand programs that can include local programs and programs that can be combined with local cultural media.

  • 본 연구는 유휴산업시설 재생공간 방문자들의 장소성이 방문만족도와 체류시간에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것을 연구목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 서울시 영등포구에 위치한 문래예술창작촌을 연구대상지로 선정하였으며, 방문자를 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 및 신뢰도분석, 다중회귀분석결과, 문래예술창작촌의 장소성 요인인 매력성, 의미성은 방문만족도와 체류시간에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 매력성이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 역사성은 방문만족도와 체류시간에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 방문만족도는 체류시간에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이상의 연구결과는 유휴산업시설 재생공간의 장소성을 진단하고, 추후 도시공간 계획가 및 관리자가 유휴산업시설 재생공간을 활성화시킬 수 있는 장소마케팅 전략을 수립하는 데에 유용한 지침이 될 수 있을 것이다.

단방향 유도경로AGVS상의 유휴차량 대기위치 결정 (Positioning idle vehicles of AGVS on unidirectional guide paths)

  • It is discussed how to locate idle vehicles of AGVS on unidirectional guide paths. The problem is modeled as a median location problem on a cyclic network. The characteristics of the optimal location are analyzed and some useful properties are suggested to reduce the solution space. Based on the properties found, several special types of networks - a pure single-loop type, the loop type with a single branching intersection and the loop type with local branching node - are also analyzed as well as the general cyclic network. In each case of the networks, a solution procedure is suggested. Some numerical examples are provided to illustrate the algorithms developed.

  • Due to the paradigm shift of the industrial structure in the contemporary china society, the usage of practical function of industrial facilities goes down in this high developing society, so that it falls into some unused spaces. But the unused industrial facilities that including historical, symbolic and cultural meaning has been creating a new cultural space by giving architectural form and function through a variety of application methods for revitalization design. Especially, the facade design which fully expresses the function and meaning of building while properly expressing the cultural situation. It improves the living and cultural conditions of residents while giving the new symbolism of unused industrial facilities through various ways of application methods for revitalization. The unused industrial facilities that was reconstructed into the exhibition space in Beijing and Shanghai, china since 2006 is the object and scope of this study. The purpose of this study is to analyze the methods and characteristics of application methods for revitalization according to each component of the facade design in the idle industrial facility and to expect it to become basic data in the future design plan of unused industrial facilities.

지역성 구현을 위한 집합주택 원형 주거동의 표현 특성 연구 (A Study on the Circular Multi-Family Housing for Designing Local Identity)

  • This study was aimed at determining the characteristics of circular multi-family housing under the assumption that the shape of a residential building affects local identity. A total of six case studies were included in this study, three case studies on idle historical industrial facilities turned into residential buildings and another three on multi-family housing located in newly developed residential complexes. The study drew its conclusions as follows. First, the design of circular multi-family housing was intended to maximize security and defense from the outside in older times. This was later developed as the terrace house style with geometric urban squares designed under the urban planning of the Baroque period. This evolved high-density housing with a courtyard in the center offering a green open space, with the aim of restoring a sense of humanity. Second, the six case studies on circular multi-family housing were analyzed from the viewpoint of each factor of local identity, including historical and cultural, landscape, and community. Third, the historical and cultural elements of circular multi-family housing are found in some unused historical industrial facilities remodeled into residential buildings. They provide new capabilities and shapes desired by society at a given time, while maintaining familiar styles and elements of history, integrating a legacy of the past into the present. Fourth, circular multi-family housing with unique shapes and structures often become landmarks of a region with their distinctive appearance against a uniform urban environment and the monotonous scenery of residential complexes. They also show a high level of visual awareness with the distinctive shapes made possible when new elements are added to a historical exterior. Finally, circular multi-family housing with courtyards in the center prompt social contact between inhabitants, especially with dormitories and rental houses for the low-income bracket, which provide a small individual units with high use common space. Circular multi-family housing are planned in a manner similar to a small village or a city. They are designed to enhance sense of community, allocating various public amenities and provide cultural and commercial spaces on the ground floor and courtyard areas.
