수면시 온열환경에 따른 피부온도 및 신체움직임 분석 (Analysis of Skin Temperature and Body Movements depend on the Thermal Environment during sleep)

  • There are numerous studies on relations between sleep and environmental factors such as noise, illumination and thermal conditions. Sleep is affected by the thermal environment. This study describes influence of thermal environment on skin temperature, sleep patterns and body movements using physiological and psychological measurements. The results are as follows: 1) The fluctuations of room temperature during sleep appeared skin temperature variations. The more room temperature is high, the more skin temperature is high in 22$^{\circ}C$, 26$^{\circ}C$, 30$^{\circ}C$. 2) A significant relation between body movement and skin temperature was found within room temperature. Under room temperature conditions of 22$^{\circ}C$, 26$^{\circ}C$, 30$^{\circ}C$, there were significantly higher rates of body movement in the room temperature(30$^{\circ}C$). 3) Uncomfortable after sleep in thermal environment is mostly under high temperature(30$^{\circ}C$), and they are about fatigue due to not enough sleeping. 4) The degree of indoor thermal temperature with sufficient sleeping is in 22.8 ∼ 27.8$^{\circ}C$.

가습기살균제 환경노출 판정등급에 따른 개인 노출 특성 분포 - 4-1차와 4-2차 신청자를 중심으로 - (Individual Exposure Characteristics to Humidifier Disinfectant according to Exposure Classification Groups - Focusing on 4-1 and 4-2 Applicants -)

  • Objective: This study was performed to investigate the distribution of individual exposure characteristics according to an exposure assessment classification for humidifier disinfectant and to identify the factors that influence assessment classification. Methods: We examined the exposure characteristics of 4,482 subjects who applied for the 4-1 and 4-2 assessments of environmental exposure to humidifier disinfectant conducted by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI). Environmental exposure assessment classification was assessed using the following seven criteria: 1) Distance from humidifier to face; 2) Spray direction; 3) Time used, daytime 4) Time used, during sleep; 5) Time used, cumulative; 6) Exposure intensity; and 7) Cumulative exposure level. Each criteria was then classified as 'high' or low'. When participants answered for more than four criteria, exposure assessment was determined as 'definite,' 'probable,' or 'possible' depending on the ratio of 'high' responses. If participants' responses were inconsistent, exposure assessment was listed as 'unlikely.' If participants answered for less than four criteria, exposure assessment was considered 'indeterminate.' Results: For the exposure assessment classes, definite was assigned to 38.5% (1,725 subjects), probable assigned to 32.9% (1,474 subjects), 25.0% (1,122 subjects) were assigned to as possible, unlikely assigned to 0.1% (3 subjects), and indeterminate assigned to 3.5% (158 subjects). Overall, participants who used 'Oxy Ssakssak New Gaseupgi Dangbun,' 'Aekyung Gaseupgi Mate,' 'Homeplus Gaseupgi Chungjungje,' and 'E-Mart Gaseupgi Salgyunje' totaled 2,996, 557, 176, and 162 subjects, respectively. There was a statistical difference in the type of humidifier disinfectant products between high-exposed and low-exposed participants. Based on the assessment criteria of humidifier disinfectant exposure, subjects were likely to be in the highly exposed classes (definite and probable) when the subjects were exposed 1) for more than ten hours per day and 2) for more than four hours at night 3) when the total cumulative exposure time was higher than the average, 4) when the direction of humidifier spray was toward the face, 5) when the respiratory position was less than 1 meter of distance from the humidifier, 6) when the concentration of indoor contaminants (ug/m3) was higher than the average exposure intensity, and 7) when overall exposure level ($ug/m3^*hr$) was higher than the average exposure level. Conclusion: This study suggests that each exposure assessment criteria was able to appropriately estimate cumulative exposure levels.

시스템조명 통합평가 및 사용자 맞춤형 가이드라인 개발 연구 - 사무공간 설계방법을 중심으로 - (A Study of Integrated Evaluation of System Lighting and User Centered Guideline Development - Focused on the Lighting Design Method for Office Space -)

  • Lighting in indoor space is being changed to system lighting converged with IT technology. Office space lighting with incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps was completed through overall lighting plan by illumination in most cases, but convergence between LED lighting and IT technology enables the technology of responding to user requirements to be realized. Optical physical quantity suitable for humans and the lighting environment in accordance with user's sensibility, based on space function and user's behavior, would contribute to the improvement of service productivity, energy reduction, and enhancement of emotional satisfaction by providing user optimized lighting solution. Thus, user-customized system lighting guidelines to be applied with integration indicators of optics and sensibility are required. For the design elements required by users, environmental factors, product characteristics, optical characteristics, and sensibility factors are drawn from the design cases for office space and the survey, and the design check list and evaluation indicators are considered to reflect the requirements in the design and requirement indicators to give integrated satisfaction for optics and sensibility are developed. Purpose-centered design method from the user's viewpoint is applied to function-focused design through scenario, and it should be applied flexibly, as the new lightning design method solutions, to the concept design stage of space lighting design and device development. This paper, therefore, presents user-customized guidelines by pursuing the optics and sensibility evaluation and design method combining the requirement conditions and scenario, to be used for lighting content development and design.

부산지역 노인들의 고관절골절발생실태에 관한 연구 (Current Status of Hip Fracture amongthe Elderly in Pusan)

  • This study was conducted to find out current status and characteristics, so that the result could provide basic data to establish prevention programs for hip fracture among the elderly. The data were coolected from 199 cases hospitalized in 4 university hospitals in Pusan during three years period from January, 1966 to December, 1998. The data were obtained from medical records and by using questionnaires through telephone contact or direct personal interview with the subjects or their family, and were analyzed with x2-test. The results were as follow: The mean age of elderly hip fractured cases was 75.7 years, and 61.8% were female. The average hospital stay of the cases was 30.8 days, and 73.9% survived. Femur neck fracture cases comprised 51.7% of the toral cases, while trochanteric fracture cases comprised 48.3%. The hip fracture occurred more frequently during the day, shown as 66.9%, and the most frequently due to trips(44.2%), followed by slips(322%), c1ash(14.6%), dizziness(7.5%), and 00 on. Femur neck fracture, however, occurred the most frequently due to trips(51.5%) and, on the other hand, trochanteric fracture due to slips(40.6%) and trips(36.5%). About two third of hip fracture(67.8%) occurred inside of the building. The most frequently mentioned location for hip fractures was rooms or floors(32.1%), followed by streets(24.1%), bathrooms(17.6%), stairways(13.1%), and so on. Trochanteric fracture, especially, more frequently occurred inside of the building(71.9%) as compared to femur neck fracture(64.1 %). The rate of independent indoor walking in femur neck fractured cases reduced from 88.3% to 74.8% after fracture incidences, while the rate reduced from 86.0% to 45.8% in trochanteric fracture cases. It indicated that trochanteric fractures affected the walking ability of the elderly more severely that femur neck fractures. In conclusion, hip fracture occurs as a combined result of aging characteristics, environmental factors, and health related characteristics. Future studies that investigaterisk factors of hip fracture in elderly are recommended.

비콘을 사용한 ANN기반 적응형 거리 측정 (ANN-based Adaptive Distance Measurement Using Beacon)

  • 저전력 블루투스(BLE; Bluetooth Low Energy) 기술을 사용한 비콘은 실외에서만 위치 측위가 가능한 GPS(Global Positioning System)와 달리 실내에서도 위치 파악이 가능하다. 비콘을 사용한 실내 거리 측정에는 RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indication)값이 핵심 요소인데 그에 반해 RSSI값은 여러 환경요소로부터 영향을 받기 때문에 예측된 거리와 실제 거리의 오차가 크게 나타난다. 이러한 이슈를 다루기 위해 비콘을 사용한 ANN(Artificial Neural Network)기반 적응형 거리 측정을 제안한다. 먼저 RSSI의 잡음을 줄이기 위해 확장 칼만 필터와 신호 안정화 필터를 사용한 전처리 과정을 거친다. 그리고 각각 특정 학습 데이터 셋을 가진 다층 ANN들은 학습을 거치게 된다. 결과에서는 평균오차 0.67m를 보여주고, 0.78의 precision을 보여준다.

베네치안 블라인드 슬랫각도 형태변화에 따른 주광성능에 관한 연구 - Radiance Program 중심으로 (An Evaluating of Daylighting Performance by Venetian Blind Shapes Type Change - Centre on Radiance Program)

  • Current Architectural Facade Designs have been trending to increased glass areas resulting in increasing impact on interior lighting and daylighting. In regards to indoor environmental quality, the increase in window space has a large impact on the daylighting received which ultimately impacts the liveability of a space. Especially when considering seasons, in the summer, excessive daylighting can result in glare as well as put an increased load in conditioning the air space further reducing energy efficiency. As a result, in order to improve the sustainability performance of a building, it is important to limit the natural lighting exposure to properly meet the needs and conditions of the building occupants. One of the most representative features to limit excessive sunlight exposure, is to incorporate operable blind systems. To this end, this research has been based on simulations performance through the Radiance Program. Radiance is capable of analyzing performance of daylight and impact of sunlight. Through analysis of different slat angles and blind shapes, impact and minimization of energy usage was evaluated. Furthermore, seasonal analysis was performed in order to understand the effects of seasonal climate factors. Ultimately this research provides an analysis of operable blinds optimization and effects of blind shape, control factors and angle of shading.

제로에너지 빌딩 평가를 통한 제도적 개선방안에 대한 조사 연구 (Investigation of Institutional Improvement through Evaluation of Zero-Energy Buildings)

  • 전 세계에서 건물 내에서 사용되고 있는 에너지는 지구온난화의 주요원인일 뿐만 아니라 기후변화 대응을 위해 다루어져야할 주요 과제이다. 본 연구는 빌딩을 대상으로 사용되고 있는 에너지의 평가를 통하여 개선사항을 도출하고자 하였으며 이를 위하여 제로에너지빌딩을 검토하고 영향인자들을 조사하였다. 또한 실제 건물을 대상으로 환경적 요인과 환경부하로 구분하여 평가항목을 설정하였으며 평가결과를 토대로 개선사항을 제안하고자 하였다. 그 결과 제로에너지빌딩을 구현하기 위한 평가단계에서는 건물부지의 지형과 기후변수가 고려되어야 하며, 신재생에너지의 이용, 저장 및 관리 측면에서는 비용 상승에 따른 제도적 지원이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 제로에너지 빌딩에서는 에너지 효율이 중요하나 현재 건물 내에서 사용되는 에너지 소비량을 확인하고 관리하기 위해서 모니터링과 같은 평가항목이 필요하다. 이와 같은 모니터링 결과를 사용해서 세부적인 체계로서 절약과 낭비 에너지에 대하여 국내 실정에 적적한 체계적인 관리가 요구된다.

제재업의 생물학적인자 노출실태 평가 (Exposure Assessment for Airborne Biological Agents in Sawmills)

  • The objectives of this study are (a) to investigate the distribution patterns and exposure concentrations of biological agents in sawmill industries and (b) to compare sampling methods of biological agents. The representative processes of 5 sawmills were selected to measure total airborne bacteria, fungi, endotoxin as well as dust. Airborne bacteria and fungi were measured with one stage impactor, six stage impactor and gelatin filteration methods. Endotoxin was collected with polycarbonate filters and analysed by kinetic chromogenic Limulus Amebocyte Lysate method. Geometric mean levels of airborne bacteria, fungi, endotoxin and dust were 1,864 CFU/$m^3$, 2,252 CFU/$m^3$, 31.5 EU/$m^3$ and 2.4 mg/$m^3$. The ratios of indoor/outdoor concentrations were 3.7 for bacteria, 4.1 for fungi, 3.3 for endotoxin and 9.7 for dust. The respiratory fractions of bacteria were 68.0, 50.9, 49.2 and 45.1% in band-saw, table-saw, rip-saw process and outdoor air. The respiratory fractions of fungi were 78.7, 90.8, 87.5 and 84.8% in band-saw, table-saw, rip-saw process and outdoor air, respectively. There was no significant differences in bacterial concentrations among single stage, six stage impaction and filteration methods. But, fungal concentrations measured with filtration methods were significantly higher than those with impaction methods. Geometric mean levels of airborne bacteria and fungi were higher than the OSHA guideline values of 1,000 CFU/$m^3$. The respiratory fractions of fungi were above 75%. The concentrations of biological agents were significantly different among culture-based sampling methods. In the exposure assessments of biological agents, further studies are needed for the comparisons of diverse sampling methods and the investigations of environmental factors.

가계의 이질적 선호가 비시장재 가치의 추정에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Heterogeneous Preference on Non-market Valuation)

  • 비시장재의 가치를 추정하는 많은 연구들은 비시장재에 대한 선호가 모든 경제주체에 있어서 동질적이라고 가정한다. 그러나 현실적으로 비시장재에 대한 선호가 경제주체마다 다를 수 있기 때문에 경제주체간 선호의 이질성을 가정하는 것이 합리적이며 가치추정의 편의를 감소시키게 될 것이다. 본 연구는 방사성 오염 물질인 라돈 가스 농도의 저감에 대한 선호와 도로교통 및 원자력발전의 안전에 대한 선호가 각각 가계들 사이에 이질적일 것인지, 그리고 가계들의 선호가 동질적임을 가정하는 경우에 비해 모형 및 비시장재 가치 추정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 속성가치선택법(choice experiments)과 중첩로짓(mixed logit) 모형을 이용한 결과, 이질적 선호를 허용하는 것이 이를 배제하는 것보다 설명력 있는 모형을 가져다 주었다. 그리고 라돈 농도 저감 및 도로교통 안전 각각에 대하여 이질적 선호가 가계들 사이에 뚜렷이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 원자력발전 안전에 대한 선호의 이질성은 뚜렷이 존재하지 않았다. 이질적 선호를 배제하는 경우와 비교할 때 이를 허용하는 경우의 지불의사액은 라돈 농도 저감의 경우에 평균 2.44배 증가하였으며, 도로교통 안전의 경우에는 1.74배 증가하였다.

토양침식에서의 강우특성, 토양경사 및 지질의 영향 (Effect of Rainfall Intensity, Soil Slope and Geology on Soil Erosion)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 토양침식에 관련되는 강우특성, 토양경사도, 그리고 지질특성의 상대적인 중요도를 규명하는데 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 강우강도, 토양경사도, 지질특성의 각각 다른 조건에서 실내 인공강우실험 및 현장조사를 실시하였다. 실내시험 결과에 의하면, 토양침식량은 토양 경사도가 강우강도보다 크게 영향을 받았다. 유출량은 강우량에 비례하며, 점토함량이 높을수록 증가한다. 따라서 토양의 유기물과 점토 함량이 큰 토양에서 토양침식량이 크게 증가 하였다. 현장시험 결과로는 토양경사가 큰 지역 및 퇴적암 지역보다 변성암 지역에서 보다 큰 침식량이 계산되었다. 이러한 실험의 결과는 토양침식량을 예측하는 모델개발에 있어서 기반암 풍화의 산물인 토양에서의 지질특성이 침식 및 침식후의 퇴적특성을 잘 반영하고 있음을 보여준다.
