Nowadays, a new word called SBS(sick building syndrome) has been come into existence. At the point of time when an interest about indoor air pollution and, according to this, countermeasure plan are internationally. Moreover institutional countermeasure should be attended at national level since indoor air quality in public places where many people gather is directly connected with national health. Especially indoor pollution of indoor stadia where all sorts of sports are held can give rise to every kinds of respiratory ailments to players as well as audiences. So it is presented as a main factor that indoor space of stadia is crowded with players and audiences compared with other kinds of indoor space. Therefore, in this research to analyze pollution degree of indoor circumstance for gymnasium and exercising room of folk wrestling. basketball, judo, wrestling, hapkido, swordsmanship and boxing making indoor gymnasium and exercising room an object, when 7 items were measures such as thermocircumstance(temperature, relative humidity, air current, intensity of illumination), dust, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide being based on the indoor environmental standard of the first clause of Article 45 of public utilization service which is showed at public hygiene of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, it was showed that indoor temperature, relative humidity, air current and intensity of illumination were over standard amount at the most of folk wrestling gymnasium and exercising room. Indoor density of carbon monoxide was preserved to the extent of standard amount (10ppm) at all gymnasiums but carbon dioxide was not in excess of standard amount(1,000 ppm) at most of gymnasiums. Indoor density of dust induced from respiration exceeded the standard amount (150 $\mu\textrm{g}$/㎥) at all gymnasiums of the folk wrestling. Since the folk wrestling players and participants feel physical subjective symptom seriously, in other words the degree of indoor air pollution at gymnasiums and exercising rooms of the folk wrestling is very high, fundamental solution and countermeasure plan should be presented.
The purposes of this study were to determine the actual state of the indoor environment, and to analyze the relationship between the architectural or living factors and indoor physical elements in the elderly hall at apartment complexes during winter. The field surveys consisted of measurements of the physical elements, observations of living factors, and interviews with users. The field surveys were carried out at 5 halls in February 2009. The measured elements were air temperature, relative humidity, $CO_2$, CO, PM10, TVOC, HCHO, and illumination. The results showed that the averages of indoor temperature for the hall was between $22.7{\sim}25.1^{\circ}C$, relative humidity was 22.0~48.2%, $CO_2$ level was 892.4~2066.7ppm, CO level were 0~0.4ppm, PM10 level were $22.3{\sim}31.4{\mu}g/m^3$, HCHO level was 0.00~0.24ppm, and illumination level was 94~391.6lux. TVOC level was detected at 0.00~0.54ppm in only one hall. The average clothing amount of the users was 1.18clo and activity was 0.7~1.6met. It was evaluated to be a comfortable state at indoor temperature, CO level, PM10 level, and TVOC level, but an uncomfortable state at relative humidity, $CO_2$ level, HCHO level, and illumination level. The main reason seemed to be lack of ventilation.
Nowadays, a new word called SBS(sick building syndrome) has been come into existence. Since most people spend a large majority of their time indoors, indoor air may affect human health more than outdoor air. This outline survey was carried out to investigate the extent of indoor air pollution in singing room and PC room. The concentrations of major indoor air pollutants(carbon dioxide, total suspended particulate, airborne microbes) and Thermocircumstance(temperature, relative humidity, intensity of illumination) were observed from October 1 to 31, 2001. As results of the survey, the mom values of thermocircumstance in singing room and PC room were $22.1^{\circ}C$ of temperature, 37.1% of humidity, 75 Lux of intensity of illumination and $22.0^{\circ}C$ of temperature, 52.6% of humidity, 135 Lux of intensity of illumination, respectively. The mean concentrations of carbon dioxide were 1589 ppm in singing room and 615 ppm in PC room, respectively The concentrations of carbon dioxide in singing room were higher than the indoor environmental standard of the first clause of Article 45 of public utilization service which is showed at public hygiene of the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. The mean concentrations of total suspended particulate were $0.33{\;}mg/\textrm{m}^3$ in singing room and $0.57{\;}mg/\textrm{m}^3$ in PC room respectively. The mean concentrations of airborne microbe were $16{\;}CFU/\textrm{m}^3$ in singing room and $12{\;}CFU/\textrm{m}^3$ in PC room, respectively.

The increased quality of life requires indoor illumination environment to have illumination with higher intensity. The increase in indoor illumination goes hand in hand with increase in indoor heat load. Of late, the internal heat in the cooling load has been growing gradually and the proportion of the lighting load has been bigger in the cooling load. The objective of the experiment here is to estimate the proper exhaust air flow displacement to remove heat from different types of lighting equipment. The heat causing the cooling load in lighting equipment is the ratio of heat per watt and the ratio of space for heat. Experimental measurements of the constant temperature and humidity in chambers that exhaust air flow by changing the exhaust calorific value was measured. Using the Airflow exhaust heat from lighting fixture of this study should help to reduce House cooling load.
The purposes of this study were to determine the actual state of indoor environments of solitary elderly houses in the rural district during winter and to analyze the relationship between the influencing factors and indoor physical elements. The final aim of this study was to propose guidelines for the indoor environment of apartment remodeling projects. The first task of this study was to understand the major elements and the actual condition of the remodeling for apartment unit by carrying out in-depth interviews on residents and specialists. The open-access interviews were conducted with interior designers who have a wide experience of apartment remodeling and residents who live in recently remodeled apartment units. The second task was to evaluate the actual condition of the indoor environment and to analyze the main factors that affect the indoor environment in remodeled apartment units. Field measurements were carried out in twenty apartment units occupied after remodeling, recording indoor environment elements (indoor temperature, globe temperature, relative humidity, $CO_2$, CO, PM10, TVOC, HCHO, illumination, and equivalent noise level). Moreover, resident interviews and researcher observations were carried out to determine the contents of the remodeled unit and to investigate the architectural and living factors(like ventilation characteristics, etc.) related to the indoor environment. The results are as follows. The remodeling elements generally included the changing of lighting fixtures and finishing materials in all the spaces, the integration of the balcony into the children's room, the installation of furniture in the kitchen and the entrance, the changing storage furnitures and equipments in the bathroom. The average levels of each unit of relative humidity, $CO_2$, TVOC, HCHO, equivalent noise level, and illumination were proved to be on the whole in inadequate condition. The factors that affect these indoor elements were classified as remodeling factors (remodeling amounts, extent balcony integration, and lighting fixture exchange), ventilation characteristics, and living factors. According to these results, this research proposed the guidelines for the indoor environment in apartment remodeling projects.
LED lamp arrangement is a critical issue in indoor visible light communication (VLC) system. In this paper, we analyze the illumination distribution under the arrangement of $2{\times}3$ and propose a method to find the optimal lamp arrangement. The method, based on the MIMO (Multiple Input/Multiple Output) system model and taking the first order reflection into consideration, enables accurate analysis of the arrangement of the LED lamps for any room. The studies show that under the optimal arrangement the uniformity of illumination is improved from 0.55 to 0.86, which guarantees that users can get almost equal lighting effects, no matter where they locate themselves. At the same time, the RMS delay spread distribution which is used to evaluate the inter-signal-interference (ISI) is analyzed, and the simulation results indicate that the optimal arrangement also can improve the communication quality by reducing the fluctuation of the RMS delay spread.
In this study, we employed Manchester code for illumination control and flicker prevention of the light-emitting diode (LED) used in a visible light communication (VLC) system. In the VLC transmitter, the duty factor of the Manchester code was utilized for illumination control; in the VLC receiver, the spike signal from an RC-high pass filter was utilized to recover the transmitted signal whilst suppressing the 120-Hz noise arising from adjacent lighting lamps. Instead of the clock being transmitted in a separate channel, a syncmark signal was transmitted in front of each data byte and used as the reference time for transforming the Manchester code to non-return-to-zero (NRZ) data in the receiver. In experiments, the LED illumination was controlled in the range of approximately 12-84% of the constant wave (CW) light via changing of the duty factor from 10% to 90%. This scheme is useful for constructing indoor wireless sensor networks using LED light that is flicker-free and presents capability for illumination control.
