실험비용을 고려한 적응적 실험설계법 기반 KF-16 피칭모멘트계수 모델링 (Pitching Moment Coefficient Modeling of KF-16 using Adaptive Design of Experiments with cost consideration)

  • KF-16의 1/33 축소 모형 공력 데이터베이스를 기반으로 풍동실험에 적응적 실험설계법을 적용하는 경우 실험의 정확도뿐만 아니라 풍동 실험에 소요되는 비용을 최소화할 수 있도록 추가 실험점 선택 방법에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 라틴방격법을 이용하여 초기실험점을 선택하였고, Gaussian Process를 통해 불확실성이 가장 크면서도 실험에 소요되는 비용이 상대적으로 적은 추가 실험점을 선택하였다. 공력계수 모델링은 가장 비선형성이 큰 피칭모멘트계수를 정확히 모델링 하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 실험 비용을 고려한 적응적 실험설계법을 적용한 경우, 기존의 적응적 실험설계 방법론에 비해 모델의 정확도와 실험에 소요되는 비용에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다.

Damage index based seismic risk generalization for concrete gravity dams considering FFDI

  • The determination of the damage index to reveal the performance level of a structure can constitute the seismic risk generalization approach based on the parametric analysis. This study implemented this concept to one kind of civil engineering structure that is the concrete gravity dam. Different cases of the structure exhibit their individual responses, which constitute different considerations. Therefore, this approach allows the parametric study of concrete as well as soil for evaluating the seismic nature in the generalized case. To ensure that the target algorithm applicable to most of the concrete gravity dams, a very simple procedure has been considered. In order to develop a correlated algorithm (by response surface methodology; RSM) between the ground motion and the structural property, randomized sampling was adopted through a stochastic method called half-fractional central composite design. The responses in the case of fluid-foundation-dam interaction (FFDI) make it more reliable by introducing the foundation as being bounded by infinite elements. To evaluate the seismic generalization of FFDI models, incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) was carried out under the impacts of various earthquake records, which have been selected from the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center data. Here, the displacement-based damage indexed fragility curves have been generated to show the variation in the seismic pattern of the dam. The responses to the sensitivity analysis of the various parameters presented here are the most effective controlling factors for the concrete gravity dam. Finally, to establish the accuracy of the proposed approach, reliable verification was adopted in this study.

  • When constructing projects such as road embankments, bridge approaches, dikes or buildings on soft, compressible soils, significant settlements may occur due to the consolidation of these soils under the superimposed loads. The compressibility of the soil skeleton of a soft clay is influenced by such factors as structure and fabric, stress path, temperature and loading rate. Although it is possible to determine appropriate relations and the corresponding material parameters in the laboratory, it is well known that sample disturbance due to stress release, temperature change and moisture content change can have a profound effect on the compressibility of a clay. The early research of Tezaghi and Casagrande has had a lasting influence on our interpretation of consolidation data. The 24 hour, incremental load, oedometer test has become, more or less, the standard procedure for determining the one-dimensional, stress-strain behavior of clays. An important notion relates to the interpretation of the data is the ore-consolidation pressure ${\sigma}_p$, which is located approximately at the break in the slope on the curve. From a practical point of view, this pressure is usually viewed as corresponding to the maximum past effective stress supported by the soil. Researchers have shown, however, that the value of ${\sigma}_p$ depends on the test procedure. furthermore, owing to sampling disturbance, the results of the laboratory consolidation test must be corrected to better capture the in-situ compressibility characteristics. The corrections apply, strictly speaking, to soils where the relation between strain and effective stress is time independent. An important assumption in Terzaghi's one-dimensional theory of consolidation is that the soil skeleton behaves elastically. On the other hand, Buisman recognized that creep deformations in settlement analysis can be important. this has led to extensions to Terzaghi's theory by various investigators, including the applicant and coworkers. The main object of this study is to suggestion the modified compression index value to predict settlements by back calculating the $C_c$ from different numerical models, which are giving best prediction settlements for multi layers including very thick soft clay.

자기보고식 사이코패시 성격 종합평가 도구(CAPP-SR) 타당화 연구: 한국 수형자 집단을 중심으로 (The Validity Study of the CAPP-SR in Korean Correctional Offenders)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 CAPP 모델 기반의 자기보고식 사이코패시 성격 종합평가(CAPP-SR)를 타당화하는 데 있다. CAPP-SR은 CAPP 모델에 기반을 두어 33개 증상, 6개 요인으로 이루어진 99문항의 자기보고식 평가 도구이다. 이를 위해 전국 11개 교도소에 수용 중인 311명의 재소자를 계층(체계)적 표집 방법을 중심으로 모집이 이루어졌다. CAPP-SR 간 수렴타당도를 살펴보기 위해 국내외에서 타당화 된 한국판 삼원사이코패시 평가도구(Triarchic Psychopathy Measure), 한국판 레빈슨 자기보고 사이코패시 평가 척도(Levenson's Self-Report Psychopathy Scale), 한국판 단축형 해악적 성격 검사(Short Dark Tetrad; SD-4), KORAS-G(Korean Offender Risk Assessment-General)와의 관련성을 살펴보았다. 또한 기존 도구에 비해 CAPP-SR의 추가적 설명력 수준을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 결과 CAPP-SR 6개 요인의 적합성을 확인할 수 있었으며 CAPP-SR 증상은 개념적으로 대칭되는 다른 척도의 요인들과 일관성 있게 유의미한 관련성을 보여 수렴타당도와 증분타당도를 확인할 수 있었다. 국내에서의 CAPP-SR의 일반화 가능성과 임상적 활용 가능성을 높였으며 사이코패시 성격장애(PPD)에 대한 이해를 확장시켰다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다고 본다.
