This paper presents the potential of in-vehicle data recorder system for monitoring aggressive driving patterns and providing feedback to drivers on their on road behaviour. This system can detect 10 risky types of drivers' driving patterns such as aggressive lane change, sudden brakes and turns with acceleration etc. Vehicle dynamics simulation and vehicle road test have been performed in order to develop driving pattern recognition algorithms. Recorder systems are installed to 50 buses in a single company. Drivers' driving behaviour are monitored for 1 month. The drivers' risky driving data collected by the system are analyzed. Aggressive lane change in 50km/h below is a cause in overwhelming majority of risky driving pattern.
For safety railway vehicle movement, analysis and recoding of railway vehicle speed and driving information has written by law. nowadays, base in europe, these system is spread of various advanced country. In this paper, We implement an event recorder which record the driving and breaking information of running railway vehicle. For the event recorder, We designed the data structures with data analysis tools and a protocol between Event recorder and data analysis tool. The verification of Analysis tool was tested by to made data by Event Recorder's emulator and information of real railway driving recording.
This study presents the direction of data triggers and elements to be recorded in automated vehicles in the future in relation to the event data recorder (EDR) and data storage system for automated driving (DSSAD). It does not distinguish between the EDR and DSSAD, but suggests data triggers and elements in preparation for overall automated vehicle accidents and dangerous situations. To propose, the current status of discussions on EDR/DSSAD internationally and the case of investigating accidents with automated vehicles under temporary driving licenses in Korea were analyzed. Based on the analysis, the direction of data triggers and elements of the EDR/DSSAD of automated vehicles were presented.
In this paper, we propose the improved EDR (Event Data Recorder) storage data, which can identify the cause of unintended acceleration of eco-friendly vehicles. The proposed EDR storage data includes the brake pressure sensor value and a brake pedal travel sensor value. To verify the proposed EDR storage data, we observe the control algorithm and internal structure of the vehicle dynamic control system and a regenerative braking system in an eco-friendly vehicle.
In order to verify autonomous driving scenarios and safety, a lot of driving and accident data is needed, so various organizations are conducting classification and analysis of traffic accident types. In this study, it was determined that accident recording devices such as EDR (Event Data Recorder) and DSSAD (Data Storage System for Automated Driving) would become an objective standard for analyzing the causes of autonomous vehicle accidents, and traffic accidents that occurred from 2015 to 2020 were analyzed. Using the database system of IGLAD (Initiative for the Global Harmonization of Accident Data), approximately 360 accident data of EDR-equipped vehicles were classified and their characteristics were analyzed by comparing them with accident types of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)-equipped vehicles. It will be used to develop autonomous vehicle accident investigation guidelines in the future.
PCM data is result of air-vehicle flight test, this data is distributed for each engineers to analyze its condition. Since line-of-sight between the air-vehicle and the ground receiver cannot always be secured, remote PCM data recording system was claimed to be required. In this paper multi-function PCM data recorder has been described. This PCM data recorder was intended to place on inside of flight object. It can record about two hours in 32 GB SD card with maximum 7 Mbps data rate. RS-422/485 and RJ-45 interface enhanced accessibility for users. 5 V and 1 A power consumption and 19.5 mm × 152.5 mm × 102.3 mm allow to connect with mobile PCM devices. It acquired more than 190-minutes data in 12-times flight test. Also, it achieved military standard environmental test MIL-STD-810G to prove its stability and solidness.
본 논문에서는 영상과 이미지 정보만 저장되는 블랙박스의 문제점과 자동차와 주행 정보만 저장되는 EDR의 문제점을 보완하기 위해 차량 네트워크인 MOST(Media Oriented System Transport) OBD-II(On-Board Diagnostics-II)와 CAM(CAMera), GPS(Global positioning system)를 이용하여 영상 수집 및 시간 및 위치 정보 Data를 취합하여 통합형 자동차 상태 및 영상 저장 시스템을 구현한다.
