Suggestions for Developing On-Line In-Service English Teacher Training Program

  • The development of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has changed the manner in which English teachers are taught as instructors, as well as English language learners. Online-related technology, a product of development of ICT technology, is used for various purposes such as training teachers and enhancing professionalism of current teachers to practice more efficient training. The purpose of this study is to extract common domains and sub-domains related to development of cyber-type in-service training (INSET) through domestic and international case analyses and to develop content areas of INSET using cyberspace or efficient online INSET programs. To accomplish the purpose of this study, domestic and foreign cases were analyzed in relation to direction of development of online English teacher training programs.

Review of Danish Agricultural Advisory Service and Its Implications (덴마크 농촌지도사업의 현황과 시사점)

  • The purpose of this study is to look at the development and status of Danish Agricultural Advisory Service (DAAS) and to find some implications on Korean agricultural and rural extension. Agriculture is main industry contributed to economic growth in Denmark. Main factors of this success would be strong farmers' organizations, commercial co-operatives, farmers' active participation in training and education, and independent advisory service owned and managed by farmers. DAAS has unique developmental history. First service was started by local farmer's organization in 1871. Farmers themselves wanted to start advisory service in order to improve the quality of butter. National center of DAAS was established in 1971 in order to disseminate knowledge to local centers, to develop new activities and computer programs, and to deliver in-service training of local advisors. In 2010, one national center with 550 employees and 32 local centers with 2,900 employes are serving for 48,000 farms. The service covers almost all farmers' needs such as production, finance, tax, buildings, crops, livestock, organic production, environment, legal matter. DAAS Academy tries to offer relevant, just-in-time training activities in order to develop the competences of advisors effectively.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of hotel training satisfaction to on the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and service quality. The sample was obtained during 3weeks periods from Oct $14^{th}$ 2017 to Nov $4^{th}$ 2017 and out of 230 copies of the questionnaire, 223 copies responded with sincerity were made an object of the analysis. The results of the study were as follows, Firstly, training had an positive impact on the job satisfaction, Secondly, training significantly effected on organizational commitment. And practical training in the hotel has a positive impact on improving the quality of service. Third, job satisfaction has a positive effect on quality of service. Finally, organizational commitment also has a positive effect on service quality.

The Effects of Educational Satisfaction on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Hair Beauty Service Employees -using leadership of chief managers as a mediator (미용서비스교육이 헤어미용종사자의 고객지향성과 직무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study empirically analyzed the effects of beauty service training on customer orientation and job performance of beauty industry workers. First, as a result of the study, there were differences in service training, customer orientation, and job performance according to general characteristics, and service training showed significant differences in age, highest level of education, work experience, and number of employees, job performance in age, work experience, and number of employees, and job performance in age, academic background, work experience, and number of employees. Secondly, it was identified that service training makes a significant effect on customer orientation, the factor that makes the greatest effect on customer orientation among sub-factors of service training is educational content, and it can be seen that customer orientation increases when educational content, educational instructor, and educational environment are higher. Thirdly, it was identified that service training and customer orientation make a significant effect on job performance. hese research results show that the better the educational environment, instructor, and educational content of beauty industry workers, the higher the customer-oriented service, leading to the creation of loyal customers and can improve job performance as well.

Analysis of Competency-Based In-service Training Programs for Informatics Teachers (정보교사의 역량에 기반한 소프트웨어교육 교원 직무 연수과정 분석)

  • The 2015 Revised National Curriculum emphasizes software education to develop creative and convergent talents in preparation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop competency-based training programs for informatics teachers in a rapidly changing educational environment. In this background, this study selects a framework to analyze the content of in-service training for informatics teachers through review of previous studies. By analyzing the current training programs to strengthen competencies required for informatics teachers in secondary schools, the study aims to develop implications for future in-service training programs. To this end, the study conducted a questionnaire survey of experts who participated in the development of in-service training textbooks and consulted them, then analyzed the elements of competency-based training program content and the relative importance of each competency element using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP). According to the results of the analysis, the content was relatively concentrated on the competency of "Understanding and Reconstructing the National Curriculum" required for general and informatics teachers as well, which accounted for 47% of all, or 7 hours out of the total 15 hours. In contrast, the content structure lacked the competency of highly relative importance by competency element "Establishing and Using Teaching-Learning Strategies for Informatics," which took up the highest portion of 27%. These findings will be used as basic data for understanding and reflecting the areas that fall short of the development of in-service training programs for informatics teachers.

  • The purpose of this study proposes continuing education program development for disability services librarian training. To this end, there was researched and analysed the Curriculum for the librarian disability service training courses and the library services with disability and LIS curriculums in abroad and domestic. Based on the research results obtained by the more comprehensive study developed a model for continuing education programs to strengthen disability services librarian competencies. Models were divided program is being offered to Track 1, 2. There are Education types which are organized cyber-shaped form of education training, set-type training, and was organized in blended learning.

  • A review of literature relating to the research topic and a survey method have been implemented in order to analyze effects of service orientation. For data analysis, a reliability analysis was performed to test the reliability of the construct and a series of an exploratory factor analysis was used for the validity test. The findings of the study were as follows: Classified into sex, service leadership factor and service skill factor showed meaningful difference between groups. Classified with age, service training factor, service leadership factor, service standardization factor, service technology factor, and service compensation factor showed meaningful difference between groups. Classified with scholarship, service compensation factor showed meaningful difference. Classified into working year, employees' discretion factor showed meaningful difference. Classified into work department, service training factor and employees' right factor showed meaningful difference. In addition, classified into monthly average incomes, employees' discretion factor showed meaningful difference.

  • The purpose of the study is to improve in-service fisheries & shipping affiliate teachers informative and professional presentation. The sensible solution to this problem is to analyze about the opinion of in-service fisheries & shipping affiliate teachers about Certification Training Program during 10 years. We provide the suggestion about the coming certification training program that satisfy the need of the trainee and that can be effectively applied into practical teaching movement in school. According to these conclusion, it is estimated that in-service fisheries & marine teacher don't have the negative view of certification training program. By the way Combination subject education program was significantly improved by developing the program on the basis of the fisheries & shipping affiliate teachers' opinion.

The perception types of clinical training experience in paramedic students (응급구조과 학생들의 임상현장실습 경험에 대한 인식유형)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to enhance the efficiency of clinical training education by understanding paramedic students' perceptions of their hospital clinical training experiences. Methods: The subjects were 31 third paramedic students who participated in a population survey from June 25 to August 13, 2016. A Q card and Q sample distribution chart were created, and the P sample was selected by Q classification. The collected data were analyzed by factorial analysis using PC QUANL. Results: Four different perceptions were identified from the survey, which explained 44.1% of the variables. The four types were classified as Self-improvement-oriented (Type 1), Training-site avoidant (Type 2), Confidence acquiring (Type 3), and Over-willed (Type 4). Conclusion: Paramedic instructors and clinical training managers may want to consider these four perception types when planning clinical training and education programs to improve job performance.

The Development and Application of Core Fundamental Nursing Skills Improvement Education Program for New Nurses in Comprehensive Nursing Care Ward (간호·간병통합서비스 병동 신규간호사 대상 핵심기본간호술기향상 교육프로그램 개발 및 적용)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the development and application of the new nurses' core skill program on the clinical skill, confidence, knowledge and performance of new nurses. Methods: This study was a nonequivalent control group post-test design on 46 new nurses with 3 to 6 months work experience in a general hospital. Data were collected from August 2015 to August 2016. A training program of core fundamental nursing skills was applied on 23 new nurses from 2016 in the experiment group, and an existing training method was applied on 23 new nurses from 2015 in the comparison group. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: The experimental group ($89{\pm}4.29$) showed higher score in practical skill assessment compared to the control group ($85.09{\pm}3.99$) and showed a statistically significant difference (p<001). Conclusion: A training program of core fundamental nursing skills for new nurses proved effective in improving practical skills. Further research on the development of a systemic training program that can improve clinical nursing knowledge and work ability for new nurses according to the extended enforcement of a Nursing Care Integrated Service ward is needed.
