In order to identify the antecedents of internet purchasing intention toward fashion items, this study examines shopping-related variables as both direct antecedents of internet purchasing intention, and as indirect antecedents of internet purchasing intention through online-related variables. Impulse buying and market mavenism were considered as shopping-related variables, whilst online interaction readiness and online consumer procrastination were considered as online-related variables. It was hypothesized that impulse buying and market mavenism not only directly influence purchasing intention toward fashion items, but also indirectly influence it through online interaction readiness and online consumer procrastination. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul using convenience sampling. A total of 286 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. SPSS was used for exploratory factor analysis, and AMOS was used for confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis. The factor analysis of market mavenism, impulse buying, and online consumer procrastination revealed one dimension, whilst the factor analysis of online interaction readiness revealed two dimensions: 'online relationship' and 'internet role.' Tests of the hypothesized path proved that impulse buying indirectly influences internet shopping intention only through online consumer procrastination, whereas market mavenism influences internet shopping intention indirectly through both online interaction readiness and online consumer procrastination. The results will be useful for Internet shopping mall marketers and for future study.

As the huge economical loss and function paralysis of information technology-based systems can be caused by the misoperation of residual current devices(RCDs) due to surge voltages and currents, RCDs shall not operate by surge currents. In this paper, in order to evaluate the reliability of residual current operated circuit-breakers with integral overcurrent protection for household and similar uses((RCBOs) stressed by surges, the unintended trip characteristics of RCBOs under surge currents were experimentally investigated using the combination wave generator. Seven different types of single-phase RCBOs being present on the domestic market were investigated according to KS C IEC 61009-1 standard. As a result, all kinds of specimens were satisfied the requirements for 0.5 [${\mu}s$]/100[kHz] ring wave impulse currents. Most of specimens stressed by the 8/20[${\mu}s$] impulse current tripped at least one or more, and some of them were broken down during consecutive tests. It was found that only one type of specimens meets the L-N mode immunity to the combination wave of 1.2/50[${\mu}s$] impulse voltage and 8/20[${\mu}s$] impulse current.

Purpose - This paper examines the effectiveness of the foreign exchange risk insurance system in the promotion of SME exports in Korea. The purpose of this study is to analyze the short-term and long-term responses of SME exports to foreign exchange risk insurance support policies. Based on these empirical studies, we would like to present some operational improvements to the operation of the foreign exchange risk insurance system. Design/methodology - In order to analyze the effect of exchange risk insurance on the exports of SMEs, a VAR model consisting of foreign exchange risk insurance underwriting values, export relative price, and domestic demand pressure, including export volume, was established. The study began with tests of the stationarity of time series data. The unit root tests showed that all concerned variables were non-stationary. Accordingly, the results of the cointegration test showed that the tested variables are not cointegrated. Finally, an impulse response function and variance decomposition analysis were conducted to analyze the impulse of foreign exchange risk insurance on exports of SMEs. Findings - As a result of estimating the VAR (1) model, foreign exchange risk insurance was found to be significant at a 1% significance level for SME' export promotion. In the impulse response analysis, SMEs' export response to the impulse of foreign exchange risk insurance showed that exports gradually increased until the third quarter, and then slowed down. However, the impulse did not disappear, and appeared continuously. Originality/value - This study analyzed the effect of foreign exchange insurance on exports of SMEs by applying the VAR model. In particular, this study is the first to analyze the short-term and long-term effects of foreign exchange risk insurance on exports of SMEs. The empirical evidence in the current study have a policy implication for the policy authority to support and promote the foreign exchange risk insurance in the effect of exchange rate volatility on Korea' export SMEs.

Recoilless weapons, which lead strong back blast and impulse noise more than 160 dB, have been used in compliance with the regulation of the safety zone for the safe operations. However, the safety zone regulations for the newly developed weapons should be prepared since the existing guidelines do not provide any information concerning the reason for the safety zone. In this study, the outdoor launch tests were performed to collect the data such as noise, pressure and temperature of the back blast. An assessment method using data obtained from launch tests has been proposed to determine the safety zone. The safety zone has been determined with consideration for the following criteria: Impulse noise, temperature and pressure of the back blast and blast angle. As a results, new safety zones for them have been established for the recoilless weapon developed by ADD (Agency for Defense Development). We expect that this research can be used as a guideline for establishing a new safety zone regulation of similar weapon to be developed.

표준 단위근 검정이 실제 시계열자료의 단위근 귀무가설을 기각하지 못하는 경우가 많아지고 검정력에 문제점을 드러내면서 이와는 반대로 정상성 귀무가설을 단위근 대립가설에 대해 검정하는 방안이 제기되어 왔다. 본 연구는 국내 광역지역의 주택가격 시계열자료에 귀무가설과 대립가설이 바뀐 두 가지 종류의 단위근 검정법을 모두 적용시켜 보았다. 그리고 지역 자료간 통계적 역학관계를 검정하기 위한 인과관계, 교차상관관계 또 충격반응 및 분산분해 등에 대한 분석 결과는 대체로 일관된 성향을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

Lightning impulse voltage is essential to evaluate the insulation performance of electric power apparatus. Recently international standard(IEC-60) on high voltage measurement techniques are being revised. In the draft of this standard, a new calibration method is introduced and the accuracy of most industrial measuring systems is maintained by means of comparison test against the reference measuring systems. Intercomparison tests of dividers for lightning impulse measurement were carried out by KERI. The shielded resisitive divider with 700kV rating developed by KERI were done comparison test with PTB divider with 300kV rating which have the similar charateristics as that were circulated among the laboratories. This paper reports on the comparison test results with full lightning impulse voltages from 126kV to 240kV. It is demonstrated that KERI are capable of realizing the idea in the revision of the IEC standand, that is, to establish traceability.

Our transmissions are mostly constructed on the mountains and passing over the mountains. The height of transmission lines are generally decided from the trees on the mountains. The height of the transmission lines is very important, because it has an effect on construction and maintenance costs of the transmission lines. We carried out tests for electrical impulse characteristics between trees and transmission lines, and suggested the test results.

This paper represents the development of national standard (NS) for lightning impulse (LI) voltage measuring system rated 400 kV. A traceability of the NS to the international standard could be achieved by the intercomparison test with Helsinki University. According to the IEC 60060-2, a measurement uncertainty was assessed. As a result of the tests, a measurement uncertainty and step response characteristics were satisfied with the requisite for NS.

This paper introduces the experimental results of sloshing model tests carried out at Seoul National University. Two 1/50-scale tanks, i.e., 2D and 3D models with the same shape, were manufactured for the comparative study. Particular interest was taken in the differences in impact pressures between the 2D and 3D models. Regular motion tests were conducted for different filling depths. For each filling depth, 500 cycles of regular excitation were imposed at each frequency. To observe the characteristics and severity of sloshing from the acquired pressure data, statistical analyses were performed, not only for the peak pressure, but also for the area-concept indices, which represented the amount of impulse.
