  • Nowadays, more than ever before, many researchers are paying attention to raising the efficiency of a Power converter. In Flyback converter, the resistor of RCD snubber consumes the stored energy in leakage inductor. It play a role in degrading the overall system efficiency Thus, In this paper, a novel energy recovery circuit of Flyback converter is proposed to improve the efficiency. The operational principle of the proposed circuit is explained in detail. And, it is verified through the simulation results.

  • Pulse plating is about to deposit material at high current density compared to conventional DC plating. For example pulse plating can get more fine grain can improve adhension and metal distribution and current efficiency can reduce internal stress and crack. therefore we studied pulsed power supply which has high current density and improve deposition quality and increase plating speed in this paper.

  • A new electrode structure is proposed in this paper which can increase the discharge efficiency of plasma display panels and also decrease the panel capacitance by decreasing the electrode area effectively. Even with the decreased electrode area, the proposed structure could suppress the requirement for increasing the voltage and improve efficiency by limiting the discharge current.

  • The power efficiency of a full-color OLED display decreases with long-term operation because of the material characteristics. The lifetime of the OLED display also decreases as the power efficiency declines. Therefore, this work provides a novel color difference algorithm to improve the power consumption and extend the OLED lifetime.

  • Using a surplus head in presented water supply pipes, we have studied to improve the operating efficiency of small hydro generator, which was chosen for a test model with 00 hydro power plant. With regard to power control and countermeasure of water hammer impact, Finally we have represented the optimal control method through the synthetical analysis of existing system symptoms, operation efficiency, the effect of water hammer impact and system configuration.

  • In cadastral field GPS mainly applies to fundamental survey, while there are numerous research about cadastral detail survey using GPS application in order to increase surveying efficiency as survey technology improve. The purpose of this experiment is to analyze the accuracy of position and estimate the efficiency of GPS/GLONASS combination surveying with control points. As the result of this experiment, Network RTK-GPS/GLONASS combination survey is superior to Newtork RTK-GPS with respect to position accuracy and work efficiency.

  • This study aims to suggest envelope structure which can improve the insulation performance of cold storage warehouse with cost effectiveness. Envelope structures are classified and economical efficiency of each type is evaluated to the model warehouse. As results, type 3 (PC wall) and 4(sandwich panel wall) have benefits to the middle/large (lifetime of 25 years) and small (lifetime of 12∼13 years) warehouse, respectively.

The Relation between Management Efficiency and Financial Performance in Public Institutions

  • This study aims to analyze the relation between management efficiency and financial performance in public institutions. Based on 135 public institutions published in public business information system from 2017 to 2020, Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) for estimating management efficiency was performed. This study analyzed the relationship between DEA and financial performance included ROA and ROS using multi-regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows; We find that there is significant positive relation between management efficiency and ROA. We also find this significant relation in model with ROS. This finding implies that management efficiency a factor that improve financial performance in public institutions. The results of this study can provide an important empirical evidence for evaluating the strategy of governance to improve financial performance by enhancing management efficiency.

  • A macroblock-level deblocking method is proposed for H.264/AVC, in which blocking artifacts are effectively eliminated in the discrete cosine transform domain at the macroblock encoding stage. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms conventional H.264 in terms of coding efficiency, and the bitrate saving is up to 5.7% without reconstruction quality loss.
